#625 - Battle against the Vipers
“Hiss~ Ah.”
Not only the wounds from the fall and friction but also the burning pain of sand entering the wounds made Zebediah, who had been pampered all his life, cry out immediately.
Zebediah endured the pain from the wound on his palm, struggling to prop himself up. He looked down at his feet and found a pink shackle firmly locked around his ankle.
He tried to break free, but found that he couldn't break it with his strength alone. At this moment, he was like a stranded fish, unable to move quickly with his legs shackled together.
In short, he was finished and had no way to escape.
“Tap, tap, tap.”
By the time Zebediah came back to his senses, Quentin, carrying a double-barreled shotgun, had already walked up to him. Even through the large toad-like sunglasses, Zebediah could see the contempt in his eyes.
“Spare m-!”
Before Zebediah could finish speaking, Quentin had already violently shoved his double-barreled shotgun into Zebediah's mouth, preventing him from making any more noise.
Zebediah naturally wanted to resist. He reached out his hands subconsciously trying to pull the barrel out of his mouth, but of course, Quentin wouldn't let him do that.
“Snap!”
Quentin snapped his left fingers, and a huge pair of shackles appeared out of thin air, cuffing Zebediah's hands and body together. Now he had really become a fish that could only splash around.
“I wasted too much time on you.” Quentin said calmly, in stark contrast to Zebediah, who had already started shedding tears and snot.
“Goodbye.”
“Bang!”
Quentin pulled the trigger. After the gunshot, Zebediah's body leaned back abruptly, forced backward by the immense force. But just like those ordinary people before, Zebediah's head did not explode into fireworks.
Quentin frowned, and with a wave of his hand, a semi-transparent pink short wall rose in front of him, just enough to block his body and keep Zebediah's urine after incontinence away from the wall.
“How disgusting.” Quentin gagged, skipped over Zebediah lying on the ground, and walked towards the other end of the tunnel.
…
Tandy gasped for breath, and Tyrone next to her was in a similar state. They didn't see eye to eye, and after failing to reach an agreement with the Rock Python sent by the Serpent Society, the latter sent his minions to besiege them.
At first, Tandy and Tyrone didn't take these minions seriously, but in actual combat, they realized that the actual situation was very different from what they had imagined.
These minions were obviously not ordinary people either. Their physical abilities were definitely not something ordinary people could achieve. Whether it was speed or strength, they far exceeded ordinary people. Fortunately, Tyrone was there to help, otherwise Tandy would have suffered in the first encounter.
It seemed that these people, like them, were superhumans, but their superpowers might just be some kind of physical enhancement. If it was a one-on-one fight, they wouldn't pose a threat, but the bad thing was that they were attacking in groups of two or three.
It was a situation of being overwhelmed by numbers. If Tandy was alone, she would have been captured by these minions before that Rock Python, who looked very difficult to deal with, could even make a move.
But, now she had Tyrone to help. Coincidentally, the latter's ability complemented her perfectly, and the two of them could achieve an effect greater than one plus one equals two.
They still hadn't figured out the cloak's abilities, but they still knew the general abilities. Not to mention the ability to travel to a strange world, the ability to absorb other people's energy was very suitable for Tandy to pair with.
Tyrone, standing behind Tandy, had half of his face hidden under the cloak. His cloak suddenly moved without wind. As the cloak opened, what people saw was not his body, but a deep, unsettling darkness.
Black mist rushed out of his cloak and quickly enveloped all the Serpent Society members, including him and Tandy.
After their experiment, people shrouded in the mist would have their energy slowly absorbed by Tyrone, and it would also have a certain impact on the spirit of those shrouded. This was an indiscriminate attack, and anyone shrouded in the mist would be attacked.
This of course included Tandy, but Tandy's own ability ensured that she could live comfortably in this area.
Seeing that the stage had been set, Tandy didn't hide it anymore. She stretched out her hands forward, and two balls of light appeared out of thin air in her palms and were held by her.
The light clusters received squeezing began to shape, and then turned into two daggers about 6 inches long. Tandy's wrist flipped, and the two daggers split into three daggers respectively.
After aiming in roughly the right direction, Tandy threw the daggers in her hand towards the Serpent Society, but Tandy's casual attitude made people wonder if the accuracy of these daggers could really hit anyone.
The most ⊥ new ⊥ small ⊥ said ⊥ is ⊥ at ⊥ six ⊥ 9 ⊥⊥ books ⊥⊥ bar ⊥⊥ first ⊥ hair!
But a surprising scene happened, those daggers seemed to be equipped with guidance devices, after flying a certain distance, they aimed at the nearest minions and flew over.
This greatly exceeded everyone's expectations, those minions could not dodge and were hit by the daggers just right, but the scene of blood and flesh flying did not appear.
Although no wounds were caused, this did not mean that these daggers did no harm, those minions who were hit by the daggers fell to the ground with a dazed expression, they felt more and more tired, and their spirits were trance-like and could faint at any time.
“Be careful of those daggers.” Rock Python frowned. “These two guys' abilities are very strange.”
He could feel that he already felt tired. Normally, this was impossible because he had fought another member of the Serpent Society for a whole day before feeling tired.
Obviously, this was all caused by the black man hiding behind the woman. His mist was very strange, and he couldn't stay here for long.
Everyone knows the principle of beating a dog in the water, Tandy and Tyrone obviously did not intend to give up their field advantage, how can the field magic that has just been patted down be easily countered by the opponent?
Tandy raised her hand and a light dagger appeared in her hand. Tyrone behind her understood and took the dagger, and then disappeared into thin air in a burst of illusion.
Where did he go? This was the question that every standing Serpent Society member was thinking about.
Rock Python lowered his body, stabilized his lower body, which could help him better deal with attacks that might occur from various angles, suddenly he felt a chill coming from behind him.
Rock Python raised his fist and turned around abruptly. Behind him was Tyrone who had just disappeared. At this time, the other party also swung his fist at his head.
