#678 - Asgard also likes meal replacements (not really)

As mentioned before, to make things easier, Yang Le hadn't changed back since becoming an Asgardian, so his current appearance was that of a standard, robust Asgardian.

He stood at 198 centimeters tall but weighed five to six hundred pounds, all due to the unique physiology of the Asgardians. Their body density was incredibly high, with even regular Asgardians exceeding the body density of ordinary people by about three times.

His robust build, coupled with short black hair and black eyes, caused Odin and Frigga to momentarily hallucinate the figure of their long-dead son.

"He really looks like him," Frigga murmured softly, and even Odin's face softened with tenderness.

However, the resemblance between Yang Le and the deceased Tyr was purely coincidental. His black hair and eyes were natural, and his facial similarities to Tyr stemmed from his Asgardian genes originating from Thor.

Thor and Tyr were half-brothers, naturally sharing some similarities. Similarly, Yang Le, whose genes came from Thor, naturally had some resemblance to Tyr.

However, this similarity was so subtle that probably only Odin and Frigga, as parents, could notice it. Of course, it might also be their wishful thinking.

Frigga only spaced out for a moment before returning to her graceful demeanor, saying with a hint of apology, "I'm so sorry, please forgive us two old folks. No matter the race, reaching a certain age makes one sentimental."

"It's alright, Queen, but you might be disappointed. I have no relation to the Tyr you're hoping for."

To prevent future troubles, Yang Le decided to reveal the truth from the start, for everyone's sake.

"Heimdall has told us everything he knows," Odin said with an apologetic expression. "I apologize again because of my own selfish desires, I asked Heimdall to pay extra attention to Thor, so I know about your conversations."

Yang Le nodded, secretly resolving to research a magic or device that could prevent others from spying on him in the future.

Putting everything else aside, being spied on without his knowledge was a feeling that anyone would find uncomfortable.

Odin noticed Yang Le's dissatisfaction, but he was prepared. With a wave of his hand, a maid emerged from the shadows carrying a tray.

Yang Le and Gwen's gazes focused on the newly appeared maid, or rather, on the tray in her hands. On the golden tray lay several metal ingots arranged in a triangular pattern.

These metal ingots were generally silver but also had a hint of dark sheen, giving them a mysterious appearance.

"This is Uru metal," Odin said, stepping down from the throne and picking up an ingot. "One of Asgard's proudest products. Asgardians are martial, so their demands for weapons are particularly high."

"All Asgardian weapons are made of Uru metal. It's not bragging, but it's hard to find materials in the entire Nine Realms that can match Uru metal."

In fact, there are quite a few metals in Marvel that can rival Uru metal. The Marvel universe has many fictional powerful metals, but Uru metal is still the most suitable for the Asgardians.

This is all thanks to the dwarves' careful selection. Uru metal can perfectly carry various magics and has the highest affinity for various elements, which is why the Asgardians favor them so much.

This is also the point that Yang Le values most. After all, the weapon has to be able to withstand Yang Le's bizarre transformations, so it should also have considerable adaptability.

Initially, Yang Le was just guessing, but when he smelted it, he found that it was exactly as he had guessed. Asgardian coins are not made of pure gold. Perhaps to withstand the Asgardians' ravages, a small amount of Uru metal was added to the coins.

However, the content of these Uru metals was indeed very low. From a large bag of gold coins, Yang Le could only extract half a palm-sized Uru metal ingot. Even with the N metal from the DC universe, it was still a drop in the bucket for the amount of material Yang Le needed to create his weapon.

Helpless, Yang Le had to use the gold he had originally planned to abandon, strengthening it with Celestial magic and using it to make up the numbers. Otherwise, the final product would not have been golden.

The result was that the weapon's strength decreased, but it achieved the appearance Yang Le wanted.

Of course, Yang Le was not satisfied, so his trip to Asgard was also with the intention of buying some Uru metal. He just didn't expect the hospitable Asgardians to stuff him with a pile of Uru metal before he even entered the palace, so he didn't have to worry about it now.

However, the purity of these Uru metals may not be particularly high. Yang Le didn't know how much would be left after his refining.

But now, Odin solved Yang Le's problem. Looking at the Uru metal with a dark sheen, he could tell with his eyes that their purity was definitely very high.

"I specially asked the dwarves for this Uru metal. Just looking at the pained expressions on those bearded faces, I knew these were definitely top-quality goods."

Odin, with a face full of beard and a sly smile, looked like a mischievous old man.

"Consider these my apology. Not only did I ask you to come to a completely unknown world, but I also spied on your lives. Of course, I swear in Odin's name that I only saw what Thor could see."

Perhaps to express sincerity, or perhaps the Asgardians didn't care about these formalities, Odin personally delivered the tray to Yang Le's hands and stuffed it into Yang Le's hands very generously.

The speed was so fast that Yang Le didn't even react. Sure enough, if he didn't transform into that bug-level alien, he really wouldn't have any resistance against Odin, who was at the level of a Skyfather.

If he wanted to surpass Odin in his Asgardian state, he could only use the forced growth method, that is, using Clock King to shoot Yang Le in his Asgardian state with a time beam, forcibly turning the increasingly monstrous Asgardian into an old man.

Yang Le looked at the Uru metal in the tray in his hand, weighed it, and felt its weight. These things weighed at least tons. Odin was one thing, but even the maid could easily pick it up. It could only be said that they were truly worthy of being Asgardians.

"Of course, if you don't know how to forge weapons, I can help you commission the dwarves to forge a handy weapon."

Thor also walked up at this time. He looked at the Uru metal in Yang Le's tray and said with a smile.

"The quality of these metals is estimated to be comparable to the metal used to forge my Mjolnir. It seems that this time, Father has really spent a lot of money."
