#681 - Loki and Thor's evil relationship
Loki clearly didn't take his father's scolding to heart, but he still had to give his old man some face, so he restrained himself a bit.
Loki first turned to Yang Le and Gwen, then gave a slight bow, performing a standard classical etiquette, before cheerfully asking,
"I noticed earlier, these two are the honored guests that Mother mentioned, right? My name is Loki Odinson, may I know your names?"
Frigga's face was full of smiles, but she couldn't help but grumble about her daughter in her heart. She had clearly told her everything Heimdall had seen and heard, so the child could prepare in advance.
But just as she thought, as soon as she heard the news of Thor's return, this girl put all her attention on dressing up and teasing Thor, only remembering a little of what she had said.
Fortunately, this child still heard that there would be guests coming and didn't cause any big trouble. Frigga was already prepared to cast spells and use illusions to shield Yang Le and Gwen's vision.
As for sending her subordinates to check in advance and stop Loki's pranks? Don't be silly, Loki is the God of Mischief, and only she and Odin can stop Loki's pranks in all of Asgard.
Even Thor, the strongest of the younger generation, can only try to solve them, and not even with 100% success. Not to mention the others.
For Loki, the others in Asgard are just her toys (in a friendly way). She can play with them however she wants. Wasting time with them is not as fun as playing with Thor.
Thinking of this, Frigga couldn't help but recall what happened thousands of years ago, which was the beginning of all the karma between Thor and Loki.
At first, Loki played pranks on everyone indiscriminately, especially when she could just run around the city, making all of Asgard miserable. After all, Loki was Odin's little princess, and no one dared to delve into her responsibilities.
Odin and Frigga had both scolded Loki about this, but the latter only cried at first out of fear, but later gradually turned to perfunctory compliance, and even the God-King and Queen of the Heavens could do nothing about her.
At this time, Thor, who had just been chosen as the Crown Prince of Asgard, stood up and made a decision he regretted for thousands of years.
At his coronation ceremony, he declared war on Loki in front of all of Asgard, vowing that Loki could direct any prank at him, and made an agreement with Loki.
Unless Thor actively admits defeat, Loki cannot prank anyone else.
How could the little devil who made a scene in the city endure such provocation? She accepted Thor's proposal on the spot and, under the auspices of the God-King Odin, signed this agreement in the presence of all Asgardians and a few people from the other nine realms.
Then Thor's suffering began.
Loki pranked Thor almost every three days for small pranks and every five days for big pranks. In short, during that time, Loki almost used her little brain for everything except eating, sleeping, and even going to the toilet and taking a bath, in order to defeat this overconfident guy.
Thor was also really stubborn. Even if Loki made him cry and snivel, he would never admit defeat. This was just like his father.
As for whether Thor hid in the quilt at night and cried, regretting his decision, we don't know, but he really persevered.
From being embarrassed at the beginning to being able to cope later, it only took a hundred years for Thor to be able to counter Loki's moves. After another hundred years, Loki's childish pranks could no longer have any effect on Thor.
For these two hundred years, the people of Asgard would think of their Crown Prince's goodness every day, and set the day the Crown Prince was confirmed as a memorial day, celebrating that they had spent a peaceful year.
Over time, Asgard inexplicably had an extra festival, and even some Asgardians with bad memories forgot why they were celebrating this day, but they would just feel happy on this day.
The Asgardians gained a peaceful life, and Thor also trained his intelligence, eyesight, and understanding of magic in the pranks. Odin and Frigga were also very satisfied. Only one person in all of Asgard was very dissatisfied with this result.
This person was naturally Loki. The longer the time passed, the less she could gain an advantage in the battle with Thor. Even later, Thor could see through Loki's pranks with just a glance.
This greatly打击了Loki's confidence, and even caused her to not be able to eat for a few days. Although not eating or drinking for a few days is nothing to Asgardians (Frost Giants), no one would ignore this lost little girl.
Frigga naturally went to persuade Loki, but when she walked into Loki's room, she found that this little girl had turned her entire room into a combat room. The entire room, except for the bed, was covered with various prank ideas, even the dressing mirror.
And Loki's spirit was unexpectedly good. She did not sink into depravity, but pulled Frigga and hoped she could help her think of some ideas.
For the sake of her daughter, Frigga could only trick her son, and she could also kill the spirit of the high-spirited Thor.
That time, Thor suffered a big fall, and Loki gained a lot of face.
Then these two fell into a strange cycle. Thor's unyielding character would allow him to absorb experience and grow. Whenever Loki couldn't subdue him, Frigga would intervene and knock down the high-spirited Thor.
This cycle continued for thousands of years, until Thor could go to the battlefield. When Thor went to the battlefield, naturally no one would play with Loki. Because of the agreement, Loki could not prank other Asgardians unless Thor admitted defeat.
In this way, Loki fell into a long period of boredom. During this time, Frigga did not sit idle and pulled Loki to cram her with a lot of knowledge that a princess should master. Loki was naturally even more bored.
That time was Loki's darkest days. Every day she was thinking about Thor coming back from the battlefield. Over time, Loki developed a psychological dependence on Thor. This mentality finally broke out when Thor first returned in triumph.
That day, Loki faced her own heart. Combining the knowledge of the sexes that Frigga taught her, she was absolutely sure that she had fallen in love with her brother Thor (?).
That day was the scariest day Thor had ever felt. Facing Loki's bold declaration of love, he was even so scared that he lost his helmet and armor and flew back to the barracks in a panic.
