#856 - Mr. Tornado
After arranging the fire-resistant squad, the remaining members, led by Robin, entered Happy Harbor Power Plant.
As Robin assigned tasks to Aqualad and Kid Flash, the tornado that had been rampaging inside the power plant finally subsided, possibly because the wind was too strong, and the flames that had just begun to sprout were extinguished.
This made things easier for Robin and the others, since you generally can't use water to put out fires in a power plant. Ignoring the potential for adverse effects, Robin and his team would be the first to suffer from the highly conductive water.
'Kid Flash, you're responsible for searching the power plant for survivors. Superboy, you'll use your X-ray vision to help Kid Flash locate targets.'
'Artemis, I need you to find a high vantage point. We're likely to encounter a battle soon, and we'll need your support. O Weapon, you're responsible for staying cloaked near Artemis to protect her.'
"Stargirl, and..." Robin looked at Troia, still unsure of her codename, as Wonder Woman had only introduced her by her given name.
'Wonder Girl,' Troia supplied. 'You can call me Wonder Girl.'
'Alright, Wonder Girl, you two come with me into the main power plant building. We'll have a chat with the guy causing trouble. Let's move out!'
Robin quickly organized the team, and at his command, the Young Justice members began their mission.
Kid Flash put on his goggles and looked at Superboy beside him. The latter frowned slightly, scanning the entire power plant with his gaze, then transmitted what he saw through telepathy to Kid Flash.
The latter gave a thumbs-up and transformed into a yellow lightning bolt, disappearing from sight.
Artemis turned and ran towards a building. She had observed the terrain as soon as they arrived, something a sniper must always do, so Robin's order was exactly what she wanted.
Habi silently activated his cloaking device and followed behind Artemis.
Wonder Girl drew her sword and shield, while Stargirl rotated her staff. The two of them took the lead, with Robin, the ordinary human, bringing up the rear with his Batarangs.
The three of them walked into the factory building. As soon as they entered, they saw the apparent culprit behind the power plant incident: a tall, humanoid robot.
The robot's body was colored red and black, with two large blue energy conduits embedded in its massive arms, connecting to its shoulders and back. The robot also wore a circle of brown rags around its neck, like a scarf.
Ignoring the robot's seemingly useless decorations, its appearance was remarkably similar to their new guardian, Red Tornado.
Similar paint job, similar appearance, and the same ability to control air currents; the two looked like brothers.
Receiving information from the mental link, Robin wasn't the only one with this idea. As soon as the thought appeared in his mind, Robin notified Miss Martian, asking her to contact Red Tornado.
Red Tornado was surprised to hear this news. Through Miss Martian, he informed the entire Young Justice team, asking them to try to contain the robot. He was on his way.
'Mission update, partners, but I think we should try to resolve the battle before our guardian arrives.'
Robin's request was unanimously approved. Superboy and Kid Flash indicated they would arrive soon, their fighting spirits clearly high.
'Stargirl, Wonder Girl, remember to lure the opponent outdoors when the fight starts. We'll have more support there.'
After Robin gave his final instructions, he loudly questioned the robot.
"Who are you? Why are you attacking the power plant?"
Two questions in a row, although Robin didn't expect the robot to answer, but everything needed a reason, even starting a fight.
"You may call me Mr. Twister."
To Robin's surprise, the robot actually answered his first question, giving its name, and the answer to the second question followed immediately after.
"As for my purpose in attacking the power plant, it is naturally to attract the attention of the Justice League's superheroes. My creator tasked me with testing my capabilities, and those powerful heroes are the best choice."
Based solely on Mr. Twister's two sentences, Robin deduced a lot.
First, Mr. Twister was probably created recently, as no one would use an old model to test its capabilities.
Second, Mr. Twister's creator possessed a high level of technology, capable of creating a robot that could manipulate air currents, as well as giving it considerable intelligence and some degree of emotion.
Combining these two points, Robin searched his mind for someone who fit the criteria.
This person was none other than Red Tornado's creator, T.O. Morrow, Doctor Morrow, a world-renowned genius, but unfortunately, he failed to use his talents for good.

"But unfortunately," Mr. Twister's mechanical voice revealed a hint of regret. "I didn't expect that causing such a commotion would only attract a bunch of kids."
Then Mr. Twister changed the subject, with air currents constantly fluctuating around him.
"But it doesn't matter, as long as I defeat all of you, the Justice League will definitely send someone to fight me."
"He really saw through us." Robin said with a smile, but the eyes visible through his mask showed no hint of amusement.
'Action!'
Robin had one set of words for the surface, and another for his mind, outwardly gnashing his teeth while secretly giving the order, announcing the start of the battle.
This was what Batman taught him: to try to keep the rhythm of the battle in your own hands, and firing the first shot was undoubtedly the best way.
Wonder Girl responded instantly, charging towards Mr. Twister in a straight line with her sword in her right hand and shield in her left. At the same time, Stargirl turned her staff horizontally, sitting on it like a witch, circling towards the enemy's flank in an arc.
Mr. Twister's computer wouldn't overload from the two-pronged attack. He raised his hands, and the air currents in front of him began to fluctuate, with two tornadoes appearing beside him in the blink of an eye.
Mr. Twister waved his hand, and the two tornadoes, one aimed at Wonder Girl and the other at Stargirl, were launched simultaneously, which was his response.
The ignored Robin then pulled out his Batarangs and threw them.
