The days of hanging out at Hogwarts

Chapter 722 There is no place for homework in the summer vacation plan

After dinner, the moon was bright and the stars were sparse.

The little wizards were full and chatted around the campfire.

Loren and Hermione sat on a low stool and teased Fang.

Hagrid came over with a hand-woven wicker basket filled with freshly washed fruits. The lake water dripped out. It seemed that the wicker basket was dipped into the lake to wash. The half-blood giant did things in such a simple and rough way.

"The fruit after the meal is here."

"Thank you, Hagrid."

Fang, who was lying on the ground, looked up and found that it was just fruit. He felt bored and lay back down, his chin resting on Loren's shoes, and his bare tail swayed slowly.

The real big fruits in the forest were either picked by animals before they were ripe, or were eaten by insects and birds. The fruit basket was full of small fruits produced in the forest, strawberries, mulberries, small tomatoes and unknown wild berries, of different sizes and strange shapes. They were washed clean and there was still cold lake water on the surface. Some fruits were scratched by vine knots, and the fresh fruit fragrance spread out, which was particularly pleasant.

Loren grabbed a handful and didn't care about the variety. He threw three or two into his mouth, but he didn't expect that the wild berries mixed in would stab him, so sour that his eyebrows would fall off.

Every time it was these wild berries, they all looked the same, some were sweeter than strawberries, and some were sourer than lemons. They were like ginger assassins who were good at disguise. If you bite them unexpectedly, you will feel unwell.

Hermione glanced at him, avoiding the wild berries, picked up a strawberry and put it in her mouth, biting off most of it in one bite. It was moderately sweet and sour, not amazing, and with the unique wild fruit fragrance, it had a unique taste.

"Crackle..."

There was a crisp sound in the fire, and it was hard to tell whether it was the firewood cracking or an unknown beetle falling in and burning. The bonfire was not strong. The summer night in the Forbidden Forest was not hot or cold. The fire was just for lighting.

Harry poked the fire with a small stick and suddenly said, "I don't plan to go home during the summer vacation. I want to stay in school."

"Why?" Hagrid looked at him in surprise.

"Returning to Privet Drive will only make the Dursleys panic, and Voldemort and the Death Eaters are unpredictable, which may really bring them danger." Harry stared at the burning flames, his tone calm and relaxed, "More importantly, I don't have to stay by Aunt Petunia to continue my mother's protection."

"Harry..." Ginny couldn't help but hold his hand.

Ron turned his head and spit out the core, scratching his head: "You can come to my house, or go to Sirius's place, didn't we do that last summer?"

"So there were a lot of troubles last summer. Mad-Eye was busy with security work, and Tonks and the others were forced to disguise and hide. The two groups had to rotate between Grimmauld Place and the Burrow."

"What should we do? You can't stay in school forever. As long as Voldemort is alive, you won't go home?" Ron turned his head and looked at the two people opposite him, "Loren, Hermione, you can persuade him."

"Like Professor Moody said, it's always a good idea to stay alert and be cautious. Hogwarts is indeed the safest place." Hermione paused and explained in detail, "Our family has temporarily connected to the Floo network, and there may be traces left in the Department of Transportation. If Voldemort finds out something during the period when he occupied the Ministry of Magic, there may be real danger... This summer vacation, Loren and I canceled our travel plans and planned to stay at home. Although the probability of Voldemort and the Death Eaters attacking us is not high."

"Damn Voldemort!" Hagrid cursed.

"In fact, I really want to spend my summer vacation in Hogwarts." Harry grinned, "Don't worry about eating. Dobby and Winky will take care of me. Their cooking skills are much better than Aunt Petunia. If I get bored in the castle, I will come to Hagrid. I haven't experienced the taste of patrolling the Forbidden Forest with the gamekeeper."

Loren pondered for a moment: "So there is never a place for homework in the summer vacation plan, right?"

"..."

Harry couldn't help but fall silent.

Loren rubbed Yaya's neck: "Be cautious, but you have to go home. The holiday is for reuniting with your family. Even if you don't want to reunite with the Dursleys, you should always consider Mrs. Weasley and your godfather's ideas. At least write a letter to ask their opinions."

"Speaking of writing letters..." Ron frowned, "My mother hasn't written to us for a long time."

Harry was stunned for a moment: "Sirius and Remus are the same."

"They don't even have time to write a letter. What are they busy with?"

"They won't forget us..."

"Even if you forget to write to me, you shouldn't forget Remember to write to you and Ginny?"

"Did we forget something?"

Hearing this, everyone seemed to remember something and stared at the burning fire in a trance. After a short silence, a group of people called out the name in unison:

"Betty!"

...

"Sirius, congratulations, mother and daughter are safe."

"You are tired of hearing words of thanks, but I still want to say, thank you very much for your care during this period, Molly!"

The bright and white delivery room was decorated very warmly. Sirius, with bloodshot eyes, hugged Molly and repeated his words of gratitude over and over again. His voice was choked and unclear.

Molly gently patted his shoulder to comfort the man who had just become a father.

"..."

It took a long time to calm down. Sirius sat in front of the bed and looked at his wife who fell into a tired sleep, with a soft heart.

Since the Potters were betrayed and sacrificed by Wormtail, he has never been as terrified as today, and has never experienced such a long wait as today. Until finally hearing the news of a successful birth, he felt that all the waiting was worth it.

Molly stood by, looking at the child in the incubator, with a gentle smile on her lips. Molly was always pregnant and always gave birth to children herself. She rarely took care of other pregnant women like she did now. Witnessing the birth of a life from the perspective of an observer was actually a different kind of touching.

"It's really troublesome for you to go through so much trouble with us. We all know that it's easier for wizards to give birth at home."

"Oh, you don't give birth to children, so you have no right to say that. Believe me, pregnant women have the highest power, and Betty is not a wizard. She can give birth wherever she wants."

"Thank you, thank you..."

"In fact, I think Muggle hospitals are pretty good. If I had these nurses to help me when I gave birth, I would definitely not be as fat as I am now."

"Maybe you can give Ginny another sister."

"Spare us."

"..."

Listening to the voices coming from the door, Lupin, who was outside the delivery room, glanced at Tonks next to him. Tonks put her finger in front of her lips, indicating silence, and then the two of them quietly retreated and came to the corridor where they could talk loudly.
