The Deep Sea Wizard of Hogwarts
Chapter 95 Check-in
As soon as Harry walked out, the rain soaked his whole body. He endured the severe pain, but the pain was unbearable and he let out a low beastly roar.
He used his last strength to pull out the Nimbus 2000 and put it under his crotch. He sat on it and then flew low into the distance.
He couldn't show cowardice in front of the Dursleys.
The broomstick flew crookedly. It was higher than the street lights and lower than the houses. No one could be seen, but it did not fly high into the sky.
But after flying two streets, Harry could no longer bear the severe pain and fell down in the dark alley between the two houses.
He crawled into the alley, and Hedwig landed after him, carefully looking at Harry's face.
Just when Harry was about to lose consciousness due to the severe pain, he felt the cool air rush into his jaw. There is an indescribable feeling of relief on the body.
The water splashing when the rain falls is so beautiful and the sound is so sweet.
The ultimate pain was followed by the ultimate relief, and Harry felt that he was about to fall in love with this feeling.
He stood up tremblingly, but his feet slipped accidentally. He felt that the shoes were particularly obstructive.
Harry sat on the ground and took off his shoes, only to see red and blue webs and scales growing on his feet. Fins also sprouted from the knees.
"Okay...can I see it?"
Harry stood up suddenly, startling Hedwig. There was a house next to the alley where he was, and he looked directly at the window.
The self reflected in the window has ears like fins, gills on both jaws, and eyes... a slit, just like a cat's eyes.
"This... what kind of monster is this? This is... me?!" Harry touched his face in disbelief.
"Can I see? It's so dark... I can see so clearly." Harry rubbed his eyes. Make sure there is nothing wrong with your eyes.
While he was still in a daze, a car roared past the road outside the alley, dragging Harry back to reality.
Harry looked outside. In the dark night, he was alone in an alleyway in the Muggle world. No one remembers me, no one knows me.
No one can take care of themselves.
This feels so - so good.
Harry was not panicking or nervous at this moment.
He had never been happier than he had been since the Hogwarts holiday. Harry opened his hands and faced the sky.
"The Redemption of Privet Drive"
Just letting the rain hit his face, Harry returned to reality for a while.
He first took out his own invisibility cloak from the box and quickly put it on his head and body. Just taking it one by one, many of Harry's magic books got wet.
Thinking about it, he hung the box on the back of the broomstick and asked Hedwig, "Hey, let's go to London. Diagon Alley, remember?"
Although its appearance had changed a lot, Hedwig heard the same voice and tone. She screamed happily and flew up to signal Harry to follow.
Seeing this, Harry put the invisibility cloak as best he could on the box behind the broom, and then followed Hedwig.
"Hey, fly low, be careful of thunder."
Harry reminded Hedwig.
————————
Just after August, London’s Leaky Cauldron welcomed a guest.
"Hey, hello, I want to live here for a while." A boy who was only slightly taller than the bar counter stood in front of Old Tom.
This boy has short golden hair and stubble growing out from his ears. It can be seen that it has not been trimmed. His skin is a little white and yellow, and it can be seen that he is obviously a very fair child, but it is a little yellow and cracked in some places, which shows that he has been exposed to the sun recently.
Old Tom stretched his head forward and stared at the child, and asked in a low voice with some curiosity, "Are you alone? A child?"
Old Tom knew what was going on in his tavern, so he spoke very quietly.
Linde remained silent and nodded.
Seeing that Lind didn't look like he was joking, Old Tom stretched out his hand, and Lind took out a gold galleung and handed it to him.
"Stay here for now!" he whispered.
Tom took out a key from behind and motioned for Lind to follow.
Lind followed Tom up a beautiful wooden staircase to a door with the brass number 17 taped on it. Tom unlocked and opened the door for Lind.
Inside was a very comfortable-looking bed, several pieces of polished oak furniture, and a cheerful, crackling fire in the fireplace.
"Kid, you are very safe when you are in the bar, but you have to be careful when you walk out of the bar!" Old Tom reminded kindly.
"One galleon is enough for you to live for a week. Will you live for a week?"
Linde nodded, "It may be more than a week, but don't worry, my dad has given me enough money when I come out."
Tom glanced at Lind without any trace: Dad gave him gold galleons? Which wizard family is this kid from? Why haven't I seen it?
But these thoughts didn't stay in his mind for long. He was in business, so he had money.
"Okay! Then what should I call you?"
"Aesop, just call me Aesop."
"Okay, Mr. Aesop. I wish you a pleasant stay here," said Tom, and then exited the room.
Lind looked at the room and lay down on the bed, facing up, not knowing what he was thinking.
He twisted a ring with a red gem on his left index finger. This ring was left to him by Mrs. Evelyn. It had been kept at home before. Now, because of this incident, he wore it.
Under his robe, two bags with traceless retraction spells were hung around his waist. One of them contained unicorn-related items, and the other contained various daily necessities.
After lying down for a while, Lind stood up again, sat on the bed and took out his wand.
"Luminescent flash--"
After skillfully casting a spell, Lind took back his wand and sat on the bed waiting quietly.
This is a typical wizard settlement. He wants to test whether the trace can still play its due role here. As far as he knows, in families with many wizards, traces are easily disturbed.
So little wizards in wizard families can cast spells more casually during holidays, but little wizards in Muggle families cannot. They are the only wizards around them, and they will be detected soon once they cast a spell.
If it was an ordinary spell, a notification letter would be sent out at the first time, just like the time when Harry was misunderstood.
But if it was a powerful spell or a "violation of the Statute of Secrecy" that caused many Muggles to know the existence of the wizarding world, someone would immediately go directly to the person involved.
Lind was using a simple Luminescent Charm to test whether his traces could still detect him in the Leaky Cauldron.
After waiting for a long time, Lind did not see any letters, so he took out his wand and began to try many spells that he had performed countless times in his mind.
