The Emperor’s Angel of Death

I am very grateful for the continued support from many readers. I have also received many opinions and suggestions. I am aware that my writing has become much more protracted throughout this year. On the one hand, as the plot of this book progresses, the background and characters have become increasingly complex, requiring a lot of space to handle. Even so, a large number of characters and plots cannot be effectively developed. On the other hand, due to the diversification of the protagonist's identity, it has actually entered a dual-line plot mode in the middle stage. The parallel structure of the human and spirit narratives directly halves the progress of this book. I have carefully considered these issues, but as the saying goes, it is difficult for a large ship to turn around. The current problem with this book is that the length of the book makes any changes in direction very difficult.

After all, this book is not an infinite flow or some writing style that can switch maps at will. The main line itself is unusually complex, and the protagonist's long experience is a process of unraveling. The scale of the speed is difficult to grasp. After all, if the layout that has been laid for so long ends hastily or is presented in a very ridiculous form that readers cannot accept, I think the result should be disastrous, because there are already examples in front of us. GW has made many such very low-level mistakes, such as the entire Death Guard plot. I used to watch Taiwanese opera frequently, which was a major high-incidence area for tiger-headed snake-tailed scripts. Just like people are used to a certain posture when walking, suddenly changing their pace may cause them to stumble or fall. I don’t think I have any special skills in writing books. The only thing I may be good at is setting up long-term plots. At least I won’t confuse myself, so I hope everyone can understand, but I will still try to speed up the steps. For example, the Menas storyline should have been later, but after much consideration, it was brought forward.

Regarding the Guilliman plot that readers are most concerned about, I personally think that the entire Confluence of Fates, which GW has written clearly and in great detail, is actually about two things: the Battle of Cadia and the awakening of Guilliman. These two plots have basically been written to the most detailed extent that GW can write. To put it bluntly, there is no room for secondary creation. Writing it again would just be "going through" the entire inherent process, or completely subverting and modifying the entire plot, and Cadia would not be destroyed. But this is not in my outline, so it doesn't count as a spoiler. Regarding the awakening of Guilliman, this book may not go into detail about it. Of course, there will definitely be subsequent plots of the protagonist interacting with Guilliman, but the focus is no longer on the blue man waking up. I hope everyone can understand this.

Of course, there are still many plots to be dealt with, such as Ananda and the Old Han's plan, Li and his rib friends, and the Tyranid Creator's subtle tricks. After all, I have also added a lot of private settings to it, so naturally I have to present them as perfectly as possible.

In 2025, as long as readers are willing to continue following this book, I will do my best to type out the magnificent, bizarre, yet beautiful story in my mind, no matter how heavy the burden I carry, I will complete the road even if I have to limp.
