Historical Chronology (1945-1951)

On August 15, 1945, the East Island country surrendered unconditionally, declaring the end of the world war.

What followed was a nationwide famine and the rule of the entire East Island territory by GHQ, the headquarters of the Allied Forces stationed on the island.

October 11, 1945

Missing persons occurred in many places on the East Island. However, due to the severe post-war situation, rumors about human experiments conducted by the US military frequently appeared, and short-lived demonstrations broke out across the country.

December 28, 1945

Including senior officers from GHQ ██.██ are missing, and a total of 1/6 of the US military personnel stationed on the island are missing.

The General Headquarters of the Allied Forces stationed on the island recalled all senior officers to hold an emergency meeting. More than 3/4 of the officers agreed to a complete withdrawal of troops. However, this resolution was vetoed by all allies and required GHQ to station on the mainland and comprehensively investigate the disappearance.

January 3, 1946

Many countries sent health teams and scientific research teams to the capital of East Island to cooperate with GHQ to investigate the local situation.

June 13, 1946

GHQ reported to the world that more than 1/3 of the population of Quandong Island was missing, including later investigators from various countries.

The United Nations designated this incident as "a historic event that threatens the human race." Considering that the "disappearance" may be contagious, any person who has set foot on the East Island is prohibited from leaving.

*Any escapees will be dealt with immediately once discovered.

April 20, 1947

The last message sent by GHQ to the outside world was, "Please do not set foot on this country that has been cursed by war." At this point, the outside world's contact with the East Island was completely cut off.

April 30, 1947

Soviet pilot ██.███ flew a small reconnaissance plane from the Mariana Islands to conduct aerial reconnaissance of the current situation on the East Island. The reconnaissance plane suddenly lost contact one hour after flying into the territory of the East Island. The information sent back before the loss of contact was not found. the existence of any living being.

May 1, 1947

The United Nations held an emergency meeting and unanimously adopted the "Convention on the Permanent Blockade of East Island". At the same time, scientists and architects from many countries arrived at the United Nations to formulate a blockade plan based on the limited information sent back by GHQ.

The "Rooftop Plan (Draft)" was successfully drawn up the next day.

May 5, 1947

According to the blockade plan, the five permanent members and many signatory countries arranged for construction personnel to go to the coastline of the East Island to implement the "Rooftop Plan".

July 16, 1951

The construction of the "Rooftop Plan" was completed, and the East Island and surrounding islands were completely sealed between insulation materials, which was called the "miracle of the world." Monuments have been erected at the United Nations and in various capitals to commemorate the great human beings who sacrificed their lives for the Rooftop Project.

So far, the 'disappearance' has never spread beyond the borders of the East Island.

The two superpowers in the world have set their sights on the blocked territory of Dongdao, and have allocated appropriate amounts of military funds to form multiple investigation teams that are "only in but not out" in an attempt to discover the possible value behind the disappearance.

The Cold War pattern changed accordingly, and the world line changed.

A subsequent historical chronology will be inserted between the text, and the main storyline of the new book takes place after the millennium.
