Chapter 1088: Ayana!

Ayana stood in front of the store, with Ladriel one step behind her. The planet Curiel wasn't very far from the range of her teleportation, so it didn't take much effort on Ayana's side to reach the store.

Ladriel's expression was ugly since things had gone differently than she expected. Her eyes were also filled with guilt since telling Ayana about the store was a betrayal of Ayriel.

"You are the store owner," Ayana said after she approached Aakesh.

She also felt wondrous about the quantity of the Eternal Stone and the dangerous sensation permeating every corner of the store.

Her tone didn't contain respect, but at the same time, it also didn't hold disdain toward Aakesh, which was rare for her. Ayana could feel that the store owner wasn't a simpleton, but things were vaster than she could anticipate, so she spoke neutrally.

Aakesh looked at Ayana and nodded, giving her the same silent response as other store customers.

"Tell me about the store's products," Ayana asked. She had learned everything about the store and its products from Ladriel but still asked.

"The store sells five products. They are pills, weapons, cultivation arts, beasts, and Panagea…"

Aakesh introduced all five products to Ayana in a single breath, without stopping.

"How much will a single virtual portal cost?" Ayana immediately asked, not acting surprised like other customers.

"Only the products I told you are for sale," Aakesh directly refused.

Ayana didn't like Aakesh at all because there was not even a little bit of respect in his tone. His eyes made her feel inferior, and the feeling was extremely uncomfortable for her despite knowing that Aakesh was, at the very least, from a far more prominent background.

Since things were like this, she asked a random question about the beasts and then proceeded toward the room.

Ladriel, who had been standing silently in the store, went forward and approached Aakesh.

"Hello, store owner!" Ladriel greeted Aakesh since she had become one of the regulars of the store. The longer she stayed in Panagea, the more awed she became of Panagea, the store, and the store owner.

Ayana stood in front of the pillar in the room. On the screen on the pillar were nine sections, each illustrating a different beast.

Ayana raised her eyes in surprise after she failed to recognize one of the beasts. She had been perched at the top of the Sacred Dimension for several years. The knowledge under her control was endless, so her understanding of the dimension, races, and many other things had become deeper and vaster than an ocean. Not recognizing two creatures in a row was the first for her.

Soon, the images on the screen changed, and another nine beasts took their place. Ayana recognized all of them this time, but when it was the third change, her eyes almost popped out as she didn't identify any of the nine beasts in the nine sections.

Ayana couldn't help but wait for another round of change, as she couldn't bring herself to summon a beast. Time flew by, and after she saw consecutive ten turns where she recognized all nine beasts on all nine sections, she decided to start the summoning round.

Ayana set the summoning system to be a random system since she didn't care about the cultivation of the beast.

As she pressed the button, the square light around the section began to rotate, and the process continued for five seconds.

As the rotation stopped, a familiar beast appeared on the screen. Not long after, a card formed out of nowhere and flew into her hands.

Ayana raised her eyes in surprise as she found out that a casual glance wasn't enough to cover the entire content on the card.

It was an ultimate quality peak Divine Lord beast. Ayana didn't like the creature much, so she went ahead and placed it in the return compartment.

Time flew by, and a few minutes had passed.

On top of the screen, a golden 17 glowed brightly, and the square light rotated. The number was golden in color, as from this round on, each summoning would cost in ultimate Sacred stones.

Ayana had no change of expression since, for the beings of her cultivation, Sacred stones were dispensable. Five seconds passed in a flash, and a beautiful, furry creature appeared on the screen.

Not long after, a card containing its details emerged and flew into her hands.

Name: Fisantigo

Type: Beast

Race: Avian

Quality: Ultimate

Element: Illusion, Fire

Cultivation: Peak Divine Lord

Characteristics: Phantom Summon

Details: The Fisentigo can create an army of illusory creatures that can overwhelm opponents.

Ability:

Price: Nine hundred eighty thousand ultimate Sacred stones.]

Ayana studied the details on the card, and she still didn't like it. She was aspiring for a creature she knew nothing about, so her heart automatically rejected the beast whenever she found it familiar.

Ayana then placed the card in the return compartment, and pressed the switch again, beginning the nineteenth round of summoning.

The golden 17 turned into 18 and glowed even more brightly.

"Urgh!" Ayriel groaned in pain as she attempted to stand up.

After entering Panagea, Ayriel decided to hunt creatures to vent her pent-up frustration, but Ayriel found herself on the other end after a while.

Ayriel messed with a Level 126 creature, the same level as her, but only later did she find out that it was a trap.

The creature was a Level 180 parasite, famous for its illusion capabilities. What Ayriel saw was a Level 126 White Lion on his way to hunt, but the reality was that a Level 180 ugly, freakishly terrifying worm was waiting for her.

Things wouldn't have been bad if the creature had instantly killed her using its overwhelming power, but the worm had to play with its hunt because it liked Ayriel for some reason. It wanted to give her a slow death.

Ayriel didn't even summon the Chaotic Wyrm to battle since it was a losing battle and the beasts had limited lives inside Panagea, unlike the adventurers.

The worm squirmed as it slowly tightened its grip on Ayriel. Its stinking saliva drooped all over her. Her expression was ugly as she saw death approaching and was able to do nothing.
