The Glory of Noxus

Chapter 7 The Hunt Begins: Snow Boar

In the sparse cedar forest.

The cedars that should have been tall and straight were broken and fell to the ground, and the exposed stumps condensed into crystal ice.

In the middle of the forest, you can see a huge snow boar that looks like a black cloud, disturbing the pale snow.

From a distance, the snow boar is about seven feet tall and about 13 feet long.

The completely disproportionate fangs are as thick as thighs, inserted upside down on the bloody mouth; the four legs are short and strong, and the hoof tips are triangular.

As the body moves, deep footprints are stepped on the thick snow.

At this moment, the fierce snow boar is swinging its black tail like an iron rod, biting a broken corpse with big mouth, and blood is all over the ground.

The remains look like an elk, not big in size, and should be a small elk that was left alone during the chase.

Under the bite of sharp fangs, the flesh and blood on the elk's body almost disappeared, leaving only a pale and broken skeleton, but the wild boar still did not give up and continued to lick and bite the last scraps of meat.

"Is this our hunting target?" Huo Jixing looked at the wild boar in the snow not far away, and his heart trembled a little.

This is not a composite picture in a film and television drama, but a real giant wild boar. Especially in close contact, he smelled the stench wrapped in the cold wind.

Huo Jixing's psychological presupposition earlier seemed a little fragile when he really faced it.

Subconsciously, he turned his head to look at Dewitt.

But suddenly found that his side was already empty, and Dewitt and other Noxus scouts seemed to be fearless and were lurking towards the target.

Huo Jixing took a deep breath, and the cruel reality was naked in front of him.

He suppressed the trembling in his heart, held the sword in his hand tightly, and stepped forward carefully.

This was a hunting expedition, and the pause in his steps just now had made him obviously fall behind the team.

At the same time, he was vaguely aware of the cold gaze of the centurion Eric behind him.

Huff! Huff!

As the distance got closer, the gnawing sound of the snow boar echoed more and more clearly in the cold wind.

Huo Jixing really saw the hideous appearance of the snow boar.

It was covered with hard thorns all over its body, and under the cover of ice and snow, it froze into sharp ice edges; its ears were like banana leaves, fanning gusts of cold wind; its gray-black skin was as hard as iron, and even if it broke so many cedars, there was no scar.

The red eyes were full of ferocity and malice, which made people shudder.

Or the distance was too close.

The snow boar with a keen sense of smell suddenly stopped gnawing, turned its huge head, and its short and thick nose moved.

Huff!

The snow boar let out a low roar, its red eyes looked around, its fierce gaze penetrated the snow curtain, and it saw the Noxian scouts surrounding it.

Huff! Huff!

The low pig cry suddenly exploded.

The wild and untamable snow boar became agitated, and its nostrils opened and closed, exhaling bloody white frost.

It turned its body frantically, its short limbs trampled the snow, raising waves of snow, and then charged without hesitation.

Boom!

The black clouds were surging, and its inverted fangs cut through the snow curtain like a blade, and its huge body broke the cedars blocking the way.

The snow boar randomly selected a target and rushed straight towards Mur.

Mur, who was walking carefully in the snow, looked at the snow boar rushing towards him, his expression changed, and he cursed in a low voice, and immediately focused on the snow boar in front of him.

With the wind and snow covering his face, Mur calmed down, and his blue pupils reflected the ferocious posture of the snow boar when it ran, as well as its straight and sharp fangs.

Just as the fangs were about to hit him, he jumped to the left with all his strength, and while swinging his body, the sharp sword in his hand stabbed out, cutting through the hard skin of the snow boar.

Puff!

Boom!

Another tall cedar broke.

The snow boar used the force of rebound to force its body to stop, but the huge rebound force made it unstable, staggering, and drops of blood fell on the snow.

Taking this opportunity, the surrounding Noxian scouts strode forward and attacked alternately.

The sharp blades cut through the air, pierced through the hard skin, leaving thin scars on the snow boar, and the dripping blood dyed the snow red.

The hunt officially began!

Even with the snow obstacles, the Noxian scouts still showed excellent combat capabilities.

The fierce and frenzied snow boar, facing the Noxian scouts' hunting, was like an unbalanced spinning top, making angry and helpless pig calls.

The pure white snow was gradually stained with blood, and the red and white were turbid.

Huff! Huff!

After the snow boar broke the cedar again, it stepped on the spot. The white frost between its nostrils had turned red, and its gray-black hard skin was covered with blood.

With its violent movements, the bright red blood flowed along its huge body and sprinkled all over the snow.

Not only its body, but also its forehead was covered with several hideous scars.

The most conspicuous one was the left eye, where a seven or eight foot scar passed through, and blood and flesh flew.

Perhaps it knew the fate of death that was about to come.

The red eyes of the snow boar revealed a crazy and desperate emotion, and its huge body swung, like a battering ram, crushing the surrounding cedars.

It launched a charge again.

The muscular body was like a speeding minivan, shaking the snow. The sharp fangs cut through the dense snow curtain, rolling up snow waves all over the sky.

The target of the snow boar this time was Huo Jixing!

Whoosh! Whoosh!

In the cold and low-temperature air, layers of fine sweat appeared on Huo Jixing's pale face.

He looked at the trapped snow boar not far away, and the fear that had arisen in his heart earlier gradually disappeared as the battle progressed.

"It was indeed an easy hunt!"

Huo Jixing looked around and saw the Noxian scouts leaning against the cedars and holding sharp blades, trying to end the hunt with their powerful fighting skills.

Under the terrifying appearance of the snow boar, a large amount of blood loss has begun to make it no longer have the terrifying power it had before.

The staggering steps and the painful low moans all tell of the impending doom of its demise.

But the Noxian scouts still did not relax their vigilance. They dispersed, maintained their formation, and slowly, bit by bit, consumed the physical strength of the snow boar.

Grunt! Grunt! Grunt!

The angry pig calls continued to sound.

Huo Jixing looked solemn, holding the standard long sword tightly in both hands, looking at the snow wild boar in desperate situation.

The ground shook, and the snowflakes danced.

The scarred snow wild boar seemed to be brewing the final killing blow. It stepped on the snow, and its muscular body suddenly ran.

And this time, its target was himself!

"Damn it!"

Looking at the running snow wild boar, Huo Jixing's expression changed drastically, and the thick fishy wind, wrapped in gray and white snow waves, rushed towards him.

He smelled the smell of rust in the cold air, and death was coming.

In his previous life, he was just an ordinary person living in a peaceful country.

Graduated from junior college, the job was not good or bad, often worked overtime, and played games during breaks.

A very ordinary and boring life.

But at this moment, Huo Jixing looked at the snow wild boar close at hand, and the strong visual impact made his mind empty directly, and his body was extremely stiff.

Even though he had trained hard before and had some memories of hunting in the wild, when he really faced it, it seemed as if everything was far away from him, leaving him with a frozen soul, standing there in a daze.

"Move, move quickly!"

The roar of trampling sounded in his ears, and the bone-chilling coldness permeated his soul.

Huo Jixing looked at the bloody red eyes of the snow boar, no longer relaxed before, his face quickly flushed, and he roared in his heart, intending to drive his body.

Hum! Hum!

The completely crazy snow boar spread its hooves, like a dark cloud pressing down on the city, and came with a bang.

At this moment!

At the critical moment.

Huo Jixing regained control of his body and rolled to the right with all his strength.

He could feel his body shrinking in the air, and at the same time, it seemed that a spear had brushed across his chest, and a touch of pain was transmitted to his mind along the nerves.

Plop!

It seemed like a long time had passed, and it seemed like a moment had passed.

Huo Jixing was hit by the biting cold wind again, and then fell heavily on the snow. After rolling for several rounds, he stopped when he hit a broken cedar.

"Hoo! Hoo!"

Huo Jixing lifted his head from the snow, his chest heaving, and he was panting violently.

He looked down at his chest. The composite armor was not damaged, only some dents. It seemed that he had brushed against the tusks of the snow boar and suffered a slight injury.

But now is not the time to check his body carefully.

Huo Jixing heard the roar behind him again, and immediately supported his body with his arms and stood up quickly.

When he turned his head, Huo Jixing happened to see the fallen snow boar climb up, shaking its ferocious head, and looking at his embarrassed self with red eyes again.

"You mother, it's me again?"

Huo Jixing couldn't hold back his emotions, and cursed in his heart, but he kept moving, leaning on the broken cedar, ready to deal with the snow boar's desperate fight.

Without waiting for the snow boar to charge again.

A sturdy figure wearing crimson armor smashed the snow curtain and rushed to the front of the snow boar.

It was the centurion Eric!

Huo Jixing's pupils shrank, and he instantly recognized the identity of the sturdy figure, and at the same time, doubts arose in his heart.

What is he doing? An ant trying to shake a tree?

The next moment!

A look of horror appeared on Huo Jixing's face.

I saw that the centurion Eric held the snow boar's inverted fangs with both hands, and the round shoulders and muscles on his arms held up the crimson armor.

Bang!

The heavy cowhide boots stepped on the ground, splashing large fluffy snowflakes.

In a trance, the centurion Eric seemed to be a fierce tiger descending to the world, his arms transformed into sharp teeth, firmly clamping the snow boar, and then smashing it to the left like overturning a mountain.

Boom!

The dull sound of falling to the ground resounded in the cedar forest.

One hug and one throw!

The centurion Eric threw the severely injured snow boar to the ground like pulling out a weeping willow. The splashing snow was mixed with some blood and the crisp sound of bone cracking.

Then, under the gaze of Huo Jixing and others, Eric drew out the giant sword from his back and inserted it straight into the neck of the snow boar, piercing directly through it, and the surging blood dyed the ground red.

"Is this power a human!?"

Huo Jixing looked at Eric's back in astonishment, his heart seemed to be churning, and inexplicable emotions surged.

Is it extraordinary power?

Or the power of ordinary people?

Huo Jixing lowered his eyes and looked at the snow boar that had completely lost its breath of life and looked like a small truck. He licked the blood at the corner of his mouth and fell into silence.

"Deal with the prey, take away everything you can take away!"

Eric drew out his giant sword, turned around, and looked around at the people in the snow. There was no emotion on his calm face.

"Yes, Captain Ten!"

Moore answered, pointing to several Noxian scouts, and walked towards the huge carcass of the snow boar together.

Huo Jixing, who is a newcomer, is included.

Led by Moore, they began dismembering the snow boar.

Half an hour later, the Noxian scouts finished disposing of the snow boar carcasses, put on their fur cloaks again, and stepped into the boundless snow.

Behind them, pieces of pure white snowflakes swayed down from the cold sky, covering the bloody ground.
