After resting for a while in the corridor, Thorne reopened the door of the three-headed dog and couldn't help but sigh: "What did you eat to grow up? So big?"
Roar!!!
"Eh, it stinks." Thorne said, and he transformed into a stick. If he didn't react for a while and was a little scared, then he was so brave that it was unbelievable, just like him now.
"Come on, bite this stick." He slowly stretched the stick forward until the dog bit the stick, and transformed it into a gag. The other two heads did the same, and soon the three-headed dog could only make a whining sound.
"Good idea, you can use the levitation spell next, but if it were me, I would choose to use music, because the three-headed dog will get sleepy as long as it hears music."
"Don't I have any musical instruments?" Thorne shrugged and turned his head to look at Dumbledore who suddenly appeared at some point.
"Aren't you sleeping so late at night?"
"When you grow up, you will know how troublesome insomnia is." Dumbledore waved his wand and let the three-headed dog float to the ceiling, revealing the trapdoor on the floor.
"Don't you want to go down and take a look?" Dumbledore opened the trapdoor and walked down. After half of his body was in, he looked at Thorne who was standing there with his hands on his waist and said.
"I think this is a trap."
"Oh my God, why are you so old-fashioned when you are only eleven years old? Come down and take a look, accept new things." Dumbledore walked down by himself.
Thorne was silent for a moment, but still followed him down.
"Fuck! There is no ladder in Dumbledore's broken place!"
"I didn't say there was one." Dumbledore looked at Thorne who had finally gotten out of the devil's vine and said.
"You are really something." The latter said with gritted teeth.
"Thank you for the compliment. How's your broomstick?" The two walked deeper for a while, and suddenly Dumbledore stopped and pointed to the keys flying in the sky and asked Thorne.
"Not very good." At some point, the key had already appeared in Thorne's hand. He opened the wooden door behind him with the key and walked in.
"To be honest, sometimes you are quite boring, don't you know?" Dumbledore complained.
"Hehe..."
"We haven't made the next few levels yet, just walk over." Dumbledore walked in front with some embarrassment, and came to an empty secret room. A red gem was placed on the ground in the middle.
"Philosopher's Stone? Fake?" Thorne asked.
"...How do you know?" Dumbledore asked after a long silence.
"If I have a good thing that needs to be protected by the level, I will definitely keep it close to me before the hero arrives, instead of leaving it here waiting for someone to steal it."
"Is the intention so obvious? I thought you would like this kind of level-breaking very much." Dumbledore said faintly.
"At least you have absorbed the essence of Super Mario very standardly." Thorne comforted.
"Thank you."
"It's okay."
Finally, Thorne returned to the lounge. After all, watching Dumbledore study various childish level-breaking games in the secret room is really not as attractive as sleeping.
"Why did you come back so late?" Just after opening the door of the lounge, I saw Draco sitting on the sofa.
"I met Dumbledore."
"That doesn't make sense to come back so late, right?" Draco asked.
"I chatted with him for a while, why aren't you sleeping yet?" Thorne asked back.
"Of course I'm waiting for you. I thought you were caught by Professor Quirrell or Filch, and I thought I would go to Professor Snape to rescue you if you didn't come back." Draco replied.
"Well, I have nothing to do now. Let's go back to sleep. We have Defense Against the Dark Arts tomorrow."
The two of them staggered back to the dormitory. When they opened their eyes again, they were already in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
It was because they slept too late last night and got up too early, so they almost floated all the way here with the levitation spell. Fortunately, Professor Quirrell didn't have the refreshing garlic smell at this stage, so they could still fall asleep.
Just like most of the students, a class passed by in a blink of an eye. The difference was that they could pack up and leave after waking up, while Thorne was detained by Professor Quirrell.
"I don't understand...really." He sat obediently in his seat, and opposite him was Quirrell who was making a pot of coffee.
"What's there to not understand? I see the proud talent in you, and I can't bear to see you waste it." Quirrell poured Thorne a cup of coffee,Said calmly.
"That's true. Many professors say I have a good talent." Thorne smiled shyly.
"I'm not talking about ordinary magic talent, but a rare magic that has long disappeared in the history of magic...flesh magic." Quirrell continued.
"Well, professor, your knowledge is really extensive." Thorne said dryly.
"Thank you for the compliment. There are not many people who know flesh magic these days. Coincidentally, I am one of them." Professor Quirrell said bluntly.
"I can see it."
"No, you don't. I can see that you have a weird, hidden contempt for me in your heart, or that contempt is not for me, but for some characteristics in me. Can you tell me what you despise?" Professor Quirrell suddenly asked.
"Hmm... the smell of garlic?" Thorne replied.
"Lie... but I decided to forgive you. Who doesn't have some secrets? Especially those who are really capable, I understand." Quirrell shook his head.
"What should I say, thank you for understanding?"
"Not really, I can still feel your contempt for me. I will use my real talent and real knowledge to convince you, but before I convince you, I need an answer. Do you really need my knowledge?" Quirrell asked faintly.
"I..." Thorne was interrupted by Quirrell before he finished speaking: "You don't need to give me an answer so early. I will wait for you in the Forbidden Forest tomorrow night. If you want me to teach you, go find me. If you don't want to, sleep comfortably in the dormitory. No one will blame you, and neither will I. How about it?"
"...I understand." Thorne replied.
"No one will blame you. All these choices are made by you. The only difference is whether you want to be mediocre... or climb the peak of magic. Okay, you can go out now." Quirrell waved his wand and the door of the classroom opened instantly.
