Fu Hee looked surprised as she asked, "You're getting into FJ? Did your brother approve of it?"

"I don't need his help! I can get in myself. I just found out that things are a lot easier when I do them myself." FangSu said with a confident smile.

Fu Hee gave her a weird glance before walking away.

FangSu thought her mother was probably too shocked that she was capable of getting herself into FJ and a smug smile appeared on her face.

The next morning after breakfast, Jia Li took Jasmine to the workshop to accompany Fu Hua while he worked on the dress she designed.

Jia Li was surprised that with his busy schedule, he was still able to work on the dress.

"You are not permitted to say too much, only Jasmine." Fu Hua warned as he narrows his gaze on her.

"Don't you think that's unfair?" Jia Li asked with a frown.

"Is it? Why don't you go out and play with your dogs, I wouldn't mind for today." Fu Hua suggested with a smirk.

Jia Li frowned even more and said to him, "You are bullying me. You know very well that I want to learn from you."

Jia Li wanted to watch Fu Hua while he worked and Fu Hua knew about it. He knew that she was very interested in watching him and wouldn't take her pets important, hence he mentioned it.

"I have to control you at least in this part. Because you are my wife, I will adjust my rules a little. You can ask questions but you are not allowed to distract me." Fu Hua said.

"That sounds better." Jia Li said with a smile.

Jasmine soon fell asleep, while her mother gazed at her father as he worked. Jia Li only raised a few questions till it was time for Fu Hua to end the making dress section.

"What do you plan to do with this dress?" Jia Li asked.

"I'm going to release it along with a few dresses after the Autumn show as part of a new collection." Fu Hua replied.

"If you're going to do that, why do you bother to make the dress yourself? You can easily pass it to the creative arts department." Jia Li said in a bid to hear his thoughts.

"I love making my wife's dresses." Fu Hua replied as he covered the half-finished dress on the mannequin with a big plain white sheet.

Jia Li smiled happily. She noticed he was always making her dresses even though he could end up sending the design to the creative arts department. She wanted to know his reason and she has found out now.

In the evening, Jia Li was in the living room with her pets watching the TV with Jasmine sleeping in her carrier when Jia Li received a call from Fu Meixu.

The latter called to inform her that her movie, 'The Filmmaker' would be out in the Cinemas on Friday morning, which was in 2 days.

"Congratulations!!!" Jia Li said to her.

"Thank you! I would have dragged you to the cinema with me on Friday evening to watch the movie but your little cutie pie would get in the way." Fu Meixu said in a childish tone.

"I can watch the movie later." Jia Li said as she chuckled softly.

"I know... how is Jasmine doing?" Fu Meixu asked.

"She is fine. She can grab little things like my fingers now." Jia Li said with a chuckle.

"She is growing so quickly. I will come to visit after my movie is out in the cinemas." Fu Meixu said.

"Alright, we will be waiting." Jia Li said with a smile.

After the call with Jia Li, Fu Meixu received another call. She smiled profoundly when she saw Shi Qiao's name on the caller ID.

Fu Meixu answered the call and greeted him in a soft tone. Her tone was as gentle as the breeze.

Fu Meixu and Shi Qiao talked for over 15 minutes before she hung up. Fu Meixu was all smiles after the call ended. Shi Qiao asked her out on a date after her movie premiers.

Of course, Fu Meixu accepted it. She was happier she was going out with Zhi Ruo's boyfriend and she wished for Zhi Ruo to get a hold of the news somehow.

Quickly, Friday came. In the evening by 4 pm, Fu Meixu was already out and on her way to the cinema. She and Shi Qiao agreed to meet at the cinema. After the movie, they would go to a nice restaurant to eat.

When they met each other outside the cinema, Fu Meixu looked embarrassed seeing Shi Qiao smile so gently at her.

"You look beautiful." Shi Qiao complimented her as his gentle gaze rested on her.

"Thank you! You don't look bad either." Fu Meixu said in return.

"Thank you!" Shi Qiao replied.

"I hope your girlfriend wouldn't mind that you are out with me?" Fu Meixu asked.

"Zhi Ruo wouldn't mind. You are my friend and besides, you are in the same company as her. Treat this date as a bribe to be on the lookout for her." Shi Qiao said with a smile.

"Is it possible to look after a veteran? Sister Ruo has many people looking after her." Fu Meixu said with a smile.

"Oh! forget I said anything then. Let's take this date as an opportunity to relax. Let's go in." Shi Qiao said with a smile and gestured to her to go in.

Shi Qiao bought a big bowl of popcorn and some drinks to entertain them while they watched the movie.

In the 2 hours, they spent in the cinema, it was not more than 5 times they exchanged words.

After the movie ended and they left the cinema, Shi Qiao complimented Fu Meixu for her good acting. He didn't forget his girlfriend as well. He complimented her for being able to portray her role as the villainess.

Fu Meixu laughed in her mind. She knew the only reason they were able to portray their characters very well, it's because they disliked each other to the core.

In a movie where the female lead is strong and dominating and the supporting female character tried to do everything she could to take over but failed. There needed to be a deep connection and emotions being conveyed in the movie by the characters.
