The Hidden Wife Of The Cold CEO
340 The Fight (III)
Jia Li's tone and the loud banging on the door were enough to disturb Jasmine's sleep. Fu Hua was scared the little bun will wake up and start crying, so he quickly walked to the door and opened it.
Jia Li stopped shouting and tried to rush into the room but Fu Hua blocked her way.
"Are you done making noise? Do you want to wake Jasmine up?" Fu Hua asked
"Move out of my way!" Jia Li said in a fierce gaze but he wouldn't budge.
"Jia Li, what is wrong with you?" Fu Hua asked with creased brows.
"You are even calling my name, why don't you add 'Miss Qin' to it?" Jia Li asked.
It's just now that she noticed he has been calling her by her name.
"This is not my sweetheart, I don't know who you are." Fu Hua said as he stared into her eyes. Jia Li's behavior today, was truly an eye-opener for him.
She was so different from that quiet and innocent-looking girl he married. He couldn't place a hold on her.
"Your sweetheart has long disappeared. But if you love her so much, you can go and look for her, but I doubt you can find her." Jia Li replied.
She was still very much angry with him. He already committed a sin and he dared to crown it by stealing her child when she went to the kitchen to get water, it looks like he doesn't want to be forgiven.
"Jia Li, I really do not have the strength to argue with you, go back and sleep. Tomorrow, I bring Jasmine back to you." Fu Hua said and attempted to close the door but Jia Li out her hand there.
"Fu Hua, give my daughter to me, I can take care of her more than you can do. You took her without my permission, and you are out here giving me instructions, what do mean?" Jia Li asked with a frown.
"What I mean is that you should get some rest, you look stressed." Fu Hua said and took her hand away from the door and closed it before she could blink.
Jia Li started banging the door and shouting and at last, that noise caused Jasmine to wake up with a frown.
The little girl frowned and was about to start crying when Fu Hua quickly went over to lift her in his arms. Fu Hua hushed her and rocked her while walking around the room.
"Fu Hua give me my daughter! I will tell grandfather that you bullied me!" Jia Li said as she started crying. She never stopped hitting the door and right now, her palms were red due to the impact.
Fu Hua couldn't believe his ears. Was that woman crying?
Jia Li went beyond his expectation to sit on the cold floor to cry.
Housekeeper Zu came over and asked her to get up but she didn't listen.
"Madam, the floor is cold. You should get up." Housekeeper Zu said to her in a gentle tone, but Jia Li was too stubborn to listen.
"I want my child! My husband bullied me! He is treating me this way because he doesn't love me!" Jia Li said as tears streamed down her eyes.
"Madam, it's not true. Sir loves you so much. Get up, so you don't catch a cold. If you do, you can't hold the little Miss." Housekeeper Zu said in a low tone as she helped her up.
"I hate that cold-hearted man!" Jia Li said in tears as she allowed housekeeper Zu to lead her to her bedroom.
Fu Hua heard the whole conversation. He was surprised Jia Li would cry seriously as he wasn't expecting that. He thought she would only get angry and walk away, but who knew she would start crying like a child.
Fu Hua's heart went soft for her as he began to think if he was a bit extreme with his treatment. Glancing at the child in his arms who looked uncomfortable with her gaze on him, Fu Hua sighed and continued to rock her.
Jasmine made sounds of protests as she moved her arms and feet about. Fu Hua had to change the position he was holding her.
He placed her on his chest and pat her back with the other arm. He said sweet words to her in a gentle tone as he walked around.
About 10 minutes later, the little girl was already asleep but Fu Hua did not put her down, as he was deeply thinking about his wife.
It didn't take long for him to hear the sound of a door closing, so he went over and opened his room door. He was in time to see Housekeeper Zu leaving Jia Li's bedroom.
"Is she sleeping?" Fu Hua asked in a low tone.
"Yes, Sir." Housekeeper Zu replied with a slight bit before walking away.
Fu Hua sighed in relief. He stood at that spot for some seconds before walking over to Jia Li's bedroom. He was careful to open the door quietly and walked in with the sleeping little bun in his arm.
Closing the door behind him, Fu Hua walked in. He glanced at Jia Li who was sleeping soundly on the bed, and his heart truly melted.
Without delay, laid the little bun in her cot and made sure she was comfortable, before going to join Jia Li on the bed.
Fu Hua lay beside Jia Li and hugged her from behind. He whispered his love for her and went ahead to kiss her arm before closing his eyes to sleep.
Throughout the night, Fu Hua took care of Jasmine. He was so sensitive that he would get up to take care of her before her cries would get louder.
Around 5 in the morning, Fu Hua left for his bedroom. He went to change into his tracksuit before leaving the house.
What woke Jia Li up, was Jasmine's cries. She was surprised to hear Jasmine's voice in her sleep. Her eyes shot open immediately and she quickly sat up on the bed.
Knowing that she wasn't dreaming when she heard Jasmine's cries again, she quickly got up and saw her little bun laying in her cot.
"Jasmine!" Jia Li called out with a smile.
