The Iron Throne of Ice and Fire

Chapter 22 A heart yearning for peace?

Green did not expect that he would meet an important "plot character" on his first day in King's Landing.

Green thought, there wouldn't be so many coincidences in the world. At this time, the Lannister family is still a "loving" family. Is Tyrion trying to find out for Cersei in advance?

Tyrion Lannister's speech to the audience was met with loud cheers from everyone in the tavern.

Tyrion's retinue threw a bag full of golden dragons into the arms of the tavern owner.

In Green's sight, Tyrion straightened his back and responded reservedly to everyone's loud thanks.

It is now September 297 in the Westeros calendar. Daenerys, the flower girl, should be staying with her brother in the house of Illyrio Mopatis, the governor of Pentos on the continent of Essos.

Tyrion, the future Hand of the Queen, is currently spending money like water in Westeros, just enjoying himself to the fullest.

Life is amazing enough.

Tyrion jumped up and sat on the chair opposite Green's table. Tyrion's retinue took two empty wine glasses and placed them in front of Green and Tyrion respectively, then picked up the wine flask and filled them with wine.

Tyrion raised his glass and gestured towards Green, took a sip, and said with emotion: "The summer red from Dorne, rich in fruit aroma and sweet taste, is my favorite..."

Tyrion grinned and continued: "Every bite is like tasting the fragrance of a girl's breasts, and the aftertaste is endless."

Green smiled.

Green put his palms on his chest, nodded and said, "Good night, Lord Tyrion Lannister."

Tyrion leaned back in his chair, holding the wine glass in his hand: "Has my reputation spread throughout the peninsula? It's an unexpected honor."

Green raised his glass and took a sip of Summer Red. He no longer frowned this time, it tasted good.

"In my childhood memories, whenever I didn't want to sleep, my mother would always use your reputation to scare me. You were the shadow of my childhood. When I grew up, I learned that it was my mother's white lie. So, you can recognize It’s not a surprise to see you.”

"Ah ha, that must be a sad memory!"

Green smiled, as if sighing: "My hometown is too far away."

Tyrion reached out and grabbed the roast meat on the plate, put it into his mouth and chewed it, and suddenly said: "Aren't you worried about the king's hand?"

Green shook his head: "Big guys don't pay attention to a little guy."

Tyrion raised his glass again and said, "When I was your age, I often dreamed of having my own dragon one day. Are you worried about inheriting the family business?"

"My legs are too short, but my head is too big. Finally, this head is suitable for me. With it, I know what I can and cannot do. It is my weapon. Jaime has his sword, and King Robert has His hammer, and I have my head... What about you, little baron?"

Tyrion's last words were contemptuous.

Unexpectedly, Green felt a kind reminder from Tyrion's words.

Tyrion lowered his head to drink, and raised his eyes to glance at Green, who was still indifferent.

Tyrion put down his glass and stared at Greene with interest.

A faint smile appeared on Green's lips: "A heart that yearns for peace? I don't think anyone is willing to stop a heart that yearns for peace."

Tyrion was surprised by Green's answer. He paused for a moment and laughed: "Yes, everyone likes it. Respect for peace!"

After laughing, Tyrion's tone became serious: "I am a man, and I will make similar choices. But, young man, I have to remind you that our Queen is occasionally willful, not as willful as is generally recognized. I give Your suggestion is to bring James with you at this time, only James can persuade our Highness."

"I will remember this, Lord Tyrion."

Tyrion's entire body almost lay on the table, staring at Green, his tone became more serious: "So, Baron Green, tell me, are you still a virgin?"

Sure enough, just now Green felt that Tyrion was playing tricks again.

Facing Tyrion, who was already smiling, Green looked complicated and shook his head firmly in denial.

Tyrion laughed even louder.

Green propped up his cheek, why not listen to some music in the evening? The point is to listen to the music.

……………………

Early the next morning, Gougang, temporary house.

Green woke up and rubbed his head.

Being drunk is like falling in love with the wrong person. After the drunkenness is over, you wake up, and then Green feels sorry for Jin Long.

Tyrion had too many secrets in Westeros in his mind, and he was very eloquent. Green listened and drank, and got drunk without realizing it.

Still not satisfied, the two hooked up to listen to music again, and Green generously threw money everywhere.

Green regretted it and told himself that it was just this once.

The sun rises in the Reach, Horn Castle.

Samwell Tarly dragged his overly large body and held his breath to find his father, Randyll Tarly.

Samwell Tarly was a very fat man with dark hair and a large round face with gray eyes.

The bald Randyll Tully sat majestically at the dining table, eating breakfast with his family. The dining table was quiet, with only the slight sound of knives and forks and whispers.

The arrival of Samwell Tarly seemed to break the family's warm meal. Randyll Tarly just glanced at it with the corner of his eyes, ignoring the cautious look Samwell looked at him.

Only Randyll Tarly's youngest son and Samwell Tarly's younger brother Dickon Tarly whispered hello to Samwell at the entire table.

"Father...Father, forgive...I am presumptuous. I..."

Samwell couldn't help but raise his hand to wipe away the sweat.

Bang!

Randyll Tarly put down his knife and fork, and the others silently stopped eating.

"Idiot, since you know it's an intrusion, why do you come here at this time? Look at you, you're covered in useless fat!"

Samwell shrank in fear.

"Weakness and obesity will only put your face in books and read about the achievements of people who are better than you all day long."

"You will be an adult soon, but you are not worthy of inheriting my territory and title."

Randy Tully's wife Melissa Florent really couldn't stand it, but she didn't want to argue with her husband in front of the children, so she left the table angrily to express her dissatisfaction to her husband.

His wife's departure still had an effect, and Randyll Tarly stopped humiliating Samwell.

Samwell looked at his mother's leaving back with a guilty look on his face.

Samwell was born into this family with the hopes and sustenance of Randyll Tarly. From birth, he was given too many expectations.

Born as the eldest son, Samwell was given too many hopes by his father Randyll.

When Sam was very young, Randyll Tarly loved his son very much. But as Sam grew up, Randyll Tarly discovered that his son was not what he expected.

Although Randyll Tarly worked hard to train Samwell, he seemed helpless in front of Samwell.

When this hope was shattered bit by bit, the upright and rigid Randyll Tully became completely disappointed in his son, and even hated him to the bone.

"Father...Father, I...have studied the Kleb family's operations."
