Legends also mention pale blue ice fogs that freeze any ship they encounter as they drift across the water, hence the name Shivering Sea.

Northwest of the Braavosian Atoll lies the intersection of the Shivering Sea and the Narrow Sea. Liu Yuan's fleet has arrived here.
