The Laughing Clown in Pirate

94. The gods of water

(Gather the word count and modify it after one hour)

"Aspago!!!"

"Where are you, Espagu!!!"

In the empty city, a few tenacious shouts penetrated the sound of the rustling waves. Espagu's parents walked on the street, holding their hands to their mouths, trying to make their voices as loud as possible.

They had been searching for their son for a day and a night. Espagu's mother's voice had already become hoarse and blood blisters had formed on the soles of her feet.

A terrifying tsunami called "Water Gods" is coming, and the residents of the city have already taken refuge in shelters under the coordination of the government.

This morning, the couple who still couldn't find their eldest son entrusted their youngest son to a neighbor and continued to search for him.

"Aspaku!!!" Espagu's father yelled hard, but still received no response. He unscrewed the water bottle on his waist, took a sip of water, and tried hard to swallow to moisten his already torn vocal cords.

The sound of the waves has become louder and louder, and the seawater in the main river channel is like a hungry beast, leaping out of the high embankment from time to time and rushing to the river bank.

Espagu's father's hand made a few dents in the kettle, and he walked towards his wife, who was still looking for him aimlessly.

"Lola!" "Lola!" He called his wife's name several times, and she didn't look back until he held her hand.

Her face was full of tears, and her eyes looked at her husband in horror and despair.

"Listen to me, Laura!" Espagu's father held his wife's hand and said, "You have to go to the shelter!"

"What about Espagu, what should I do with Espagu?" the wife said hoarsely, her hands trembling.

He turned to hug his wife's face and looked into her eyes.

"I will continue to look for Espagu," he said: "The water gods are approaching, you have to go to the shelter first."

Hearing her husband's words, the wife's eyes widened. Only then did she realize that the huge sound of the surging waves had been her nightmare since childhood.

"I want to stay and continue to look for our son!" the wife said in a hoarse, thin voice.

"Look, you can't even make a sound!" The husband forced a smile: "You go first, and I will take Espagu into the shelter later."

The wife shook her head, but her whole body was shaking and refused to leave. Tears kept pouring from her eyes.
