The Legend of Fatality

Chapter 870: Battle outside the city

In front of them, the cavalry captain issued a command to charge. Bai En watched the horses start to accelerate and then ran towards their enemies. The war cry of the riders rang through the sky.

After a while, the spear and the shield collided. Bai En saw the sparks flying, and heard the sharp friction of the metal spear against the armor.

The wounded screams and animal roars filled his ears. A man was dumped from the saddle. The horse stands on its hind legs. Most of them are dead. As before, Mrs. Casler's wing cavalry was defeated. Light lance cavalry cannot compete with heavy dark knights.

This did not affect Grerogan's determination to participate in the fight. With a huge roar, he rushed forward and entered the battle, like a diver jumping from a rock into a dangerous pool.

Bane followed him because he knew that if he followed Guerrerogan, his chances of surviving the battle would increase greatly. Although he still can't figure out why he chose to join this battle at such moments and places.

A figure in black armor broke out from the crowd, splitting the head of a Lady Casler wing cavalry with a huge black rune sword, and then rushed in the direction of both of them.

Grey Logan laughed and challenged in dwarf language. The Dark Knight seemed to understand what he meant, touching the armored wings of his mount with the Spurs and riding it directly towards the dwarf.

At the moment the rider tried to narrow the distance between them, Bai En seemed to feel that the flow of time had changed. Everything seemed to happen extremely slowly, just like in a nightmare.

He could see the elaborate metalwork on the dark knight's armor, those depicting the roaring heads of beasts and demons. He saw the strange evil rune burning along its blade, and the hot red light from its delicate bat-wing helmet illuminated what was supposed to be the eye.

A small magic flame erupted in the nostrils of his horse, reminding Bai En of the evil dragon he had encountered a while ago, which made him feel uncomfortable. Its eyes also shone red.

The dark knight rushed towards them. Bai En has never seen such a big horse. It looks more like a moving muscle mountain than a beast as a mount. When it rushed towards them, the giant tendons under its dark skin could contract and twist.

Pieces of dust rose under its horseshoe. The black iron horseshoe stepped on the pebbles, and Mars was splashing. Somehow, Bai En discovered that his sword was already in his hand. He felt that all his strength was exhausting, but he had experienced enough fighting and knew it was an illusion. He knew that as soon as the time came, he would move at the speed and strength he needed. At least he hopes so.

Grey Logan stood in front of him a little, his axe raised high, staring fearlessly at their enemies. The dark knight laughed contemptuously when he saw the two of them trying to block his way. His horses approached with thunder. Blood foam spewed from its mouth.

Its yellow teeth were dyed red, and Bai En could see that this was not a horse's teeth, but sharp like a wolf's fangs. He didn't know why this surprised him. He has seen even more weird changes in the followers of the evil gods.

As the rider galloped, he leaned over on the saddle to better deal with Gray Rogan. The dwarf stood motionless like a statue, waiting for the time to come. At least, Bai En hopes he is waiting for the opportunity. He had never seen Guerrero froze in battle, but for the first time in all things.

In the last second before the two hit, Guerrerogan moved. He punched hard with an axe. A fierce blow, swiftly like thunder, inevitably hit the leg of this evil warhorse, only making a sound like a thunderbolt.

The brute fell and blood shed from its severed limbs. Its rider rolled a heel from the saddle, slipped across the hard ground, and landed at the foot of Bai En, the sound was like an earthquake struck a blacksmith's shop.

Bai En stabs the dark knight with a "spirit" almost without thinking. The long sword pierces the man's throat and penetrates the chain mail between the helmet and the breastplate. The dark knight made a gurgling noise. Blood foam came out of the hole in the armor.

Bane pulled out his sword and cut it again, cutting off his head from the dark knight's torso. He walked past the wicked warhorse that had fallen to the ground, thrusting the sword into its brain, and twisting it gently, not feeling sad at all in his heart.

This mount may be a non-speaking beast, but it may not be. Some such creatures have extraordinary wisdom. And they are all enemies.

He and Grerogan went further and further in the battle. It was like being caught in a whirlwind of flesh and blood. Around them, the war horses stood on their hind legs and kicked each other towards each other with their horseshoes. The Lancers pierced the cultists of Evil God. Everyone fought in primitive wildness without restraint.

Grerogan charged forward with a deadly force, violently attacking the left and right sides, killing everything that blocked his way. Bai En moved behind him, staring at the dwarf's back, and stabbed at anyone who tried to surround him.

After a few heartbeats, they stood behind a barrier of dead horses and dying people. Beane heard more cries of war behind them and knew that Mrs. Kasler's soldiers were coming out of the city to join the battle.

The sound of horseshoes told him that some of Kaslov ’s wing cavalry had assembled and was ready to come back to fight. For a moment, the balance of the battlefield changed, the dark knights of the evil gods retreated, and Mrs. Kasler chased behind. Bai En could hear cheers from the city wall behind them.

Bai En suddenly found himself looking up at a young Kaslov nobleman, riding a beautiful white horse. His hair and eyebrows are almost as white as his horse. His eyes are cold blue. This man's armor is thicker and heavier than any soldier's. He holds a long sword with a golden hilt in his right hand, indicating that he is rich. Bai En recognized the person in front of him from his brief meeting with the Duke. This rider is the younger brother of the Prague ruler Villeham.

"Not many people will leave this safe city to face the attacks of those who were cursed," he said, stroking his pale beard with his chin hanging. This long beard is very popular among young Kaslov nobles. "It seems that we owe you more than the warning from our ruler Shazan."

"I'm not human." Guerrerogan said to him. "Fools can tell that I'm a dwarf."

The warriors around the young nobility were all tense and put their weapons in a position ready for use. Very good, Bai En thought, it is not enough for us to have enemies outside the city. Let's get some from the establishment.

To his surprise, the newly arrived young noble just smiled. Bai En heard that the Duke's younger brother was crazy like most people who ruled the family. Obviously, this madness has reached the point where it can tolerate behaviors that others may consider to be serious insults.

Whatever the reason, Bai En is very grateful to the other party's heart.

"I heard that the older race is very proud and sensitive, especially the oath takers," the other party said.

"No one who swears has anything to be proud of," Guerrerogan retorted.

"So as you said," the stranger said, although his witty tone implied that he did not completely believe it. "All of you here testify, I, Willem of the Kosinski family, thank you for your bravery and hope to see you get paid."

"The only reward I need is a place on the front line of the upcoming battle."

"That should be easy to arrange, my friend."

Bane prayed to Gray Logan not to say anything sarcasm. After all, it's not just wise behavior-Guerrerogan may have warned with the Duke's brother because of these words.

Fortunately, Guerrerogan just turned his head and did not speak. The rider turned to look at Bai En and said.

"I will let my brother and Shazan know your heroic deeds."

"Thank you, sir." Bai En said.

"No, I should be grateful to you for being me. You are a foreigner. Not many people will come here from afar, just fight to defend our land, or even sacrifice. Such bravery should be rewarded."

Bai En looked up at him. Villeham seems to be a young man who speaks gracefully and looks good, but Bai En has already learned to distrust the nobles, or any authority, no matter how polite they are. However, it seems not the right time to say this now. There are rumors that Villeham may be a particularly unpleasant enemy.

"All we want is a wonderful fight." Gray Logan said dissatisfiedly. "There is only one thing for sure. We didn't get it here."

"Wait a few days, my friend." Willum said, "The battle will then be as fierce and hard as anyone would hope, even for a dwarf oathbreaker."

The young nobles ’nods nodded and agreed ~ www.wuxiaspot.com ~ Bai En had no reason to doubt his words. Guerrerogan just spit on the ground and stared into the distance, watching the plumes of smoke rising from the horizon.

"It's better to bring them quickly," said Gray Logan.

Willam smiled easily. "At least one fighter in the city is eager to face these enemies, which is good," he nodded and continued. "You have inspired all of us, Son of Ryan, Guerrerogen."

"This is exactly what I always wanted." Guerrero said a bit sourly.

If he noticed the piercing eyes of the young noble servants, he did not make any expression. The oath-bearer never showed respect for the ruler of his own people-so he did not care about the ruler of mankind.

Bai En wondered if this character would let them both die, and the knife behind it was the most difficult to guard against. He knew this when he was an apprentice in the Black Tower. He really wanted to apologize for the oath-bearer's attitude, but his self-esteem as a mage began to wreak havoc, or because he knew in his heart that Guerrerogan would probably refute him anyway, so he closed his mouth and prayed for Wiram Can be as forgiving as he showed.

Considering that tens of thousands of soldiers swore to defend his personal and the city, Bai En thought it was a good thing that the young nobleman showed no signs of birth gas.

"I have to go now, but if you decide to visit, you are welcome to come to the palace," he said, glancing at Bai En.

"I will definitely accept this invitation." Bai En replied.

A consultant turned and glared at him. There was a fierce light in the man's eyes.

Bai En thought, do not know who will kill us faster, is Mrs. Casler or admirer of evil spirits
