The Little Superman of Hogwarts

#104 - Chapter 104 [Time Converter]

The first week of the new school year didn't bring any particularly big news; all the classes proceeded in an orderly fashion.

The only somewhat special thing was that Klee and Lockhart clashed once again during their second class. Lockhart had once received the Order of Merlin, Third Class, and he heard from some students that a second-year wizard had received the higher honor of the Order of Merlin, Second Class, in their first year. He instantly became restless and deliberately belittled Klee during the second class, resulting in a tit-for-tat exchange where Klee fiercely mocked Lockhart.

"Do you need me to describe again the scene from last class where someone couldn't even control the Cornish pixies?" Klee said casually at the end, causing the little lions to burst into laughter.

This sentence infuriated Lockhart—however…

Klee's gaze was too sharp. Lockhart was, after all, just a dung heap—shiny on the outside but with little real ability.

How should I put it? In this situation, Lockhart almost instantly chickened out. He didn't even dare to look Klee in the eye, and in the end, the matter fizzled out.

On the other side, Ginny Weasley and Hermione were becoming better and better friends, sharing many common interests.

Even to the point that, on the weekend, Hermione discussed with Klee whether to let Ginny enter the Room of Requirement as well.

Klee initially wanted to refuse, but then he suddenly thought of Tom Riddle's diary and readily agreed.

Last semester, they destroyed two Voldemorts, one original Voldemort and one Horcrux Voldemort. Dumbledore took the opportunity to banish the slovenly Peeves, which was considered a good school year.

Now Klee especially wanted to see these lovely little Voldemorts again—to let them taste the 300-ton iron fist and 105,000 calories of magic.

One hundred and five thousand calories, what despairing magic!

During Thursday's Transfiguration class, just before the end of the lesson, Professor McGonagall suddenly called Hermione and Klee to her office.

"Do you have time next Monday?" Professor McGonagall asked.

"If it's for a banquet or other pleasant occasion, of course, we have time," Klee replied.

Professor McGonagall smiled and said, "What if it's not a good thing? Like having you clean the Forbidden Forest?"

"Of course, we're busy!" Klee righteously refused.

Professor McGonagall and Hermione both laughed. Professor McGonagall said with a smile, "Although it's not a banquet, it's still a good thing… Wait… I suddenly think a banquet might be possible, and you'd have to pay for it."

Klee frowned, guessing it wouldn't be simple, and asked, "What exactly is it?"

"A Time-Turner," Professor McGonagall said, looking meaningfully at the two of them. "Have you heard of it?"

Hermione and Klee were both surprised. Of course, they knew what it was. Klee had even wanted to get one, but later found that they were hidden deep within the Ministry of Magic and followed the 'Minimum Impact' principle, so he lost most of his interest.

The so-called 'Minimum Impact' principle was a rule defined by Klee based on the principle of the Time Chamber—you can travel back in time, but your travel itself consumes magic, and the rate of magic consumption is directly proportional to the impact you have on the 'past'.

That is to say, the less impact you have on other people and things, the longer you can stay in the past.

If you change the major course of history—for example, if you save Louis XVI when he was beheaded—the instantaneous magic consumption will reach astronomical figures—because this event will change the whole world in the next few hundred years.

"Does this mean we can get one?" Klee asked, Hermione's eyes also lighting up.

"It seems you two have a deep understanding of Time-Turners!" Professor McGonagall was a little surprised. "Next Monday, two employees from the Ministry of Magic will assess you. If you can pass, you can get two Time-Turners."

"Great!" Klee and Hermione exclaimed simultaneously, exchanging excited glances.

Professor McGonagall carefully instructed them on a few things, then sent them away.

Professor McGonagall, like a kind old mother, watched the two of them leave. Suddenly, she had a thought: "These two are increasingly showing [Married couples] vibes!"

That evening, Hermione and Klee were extremely happy. During dinner, Hermione quietly called Ginny over, and the three of them ate together.

"You noticed the other day that I wasn't in the common room at night, you're very sharp!" Hermione first praised Ginny, then handed her a huge pastry.

"Could it be that you were with Klee at night?" Ginny asked, looking alarmed as if she had discovered some secret.

"Too many thoughts in that little head!" Hermione smiled helplessly. "We have a secret base, are you interested in coming along?"

"Secret base?" Ginny repeated in confusion. "Like what we did when we were kids playing house? A secret base to store toys?"

"That's the idea!" Klee added, "Your brothers and Harry don't even know about this place. You're the second sharer, Hermione is the first, and I'm the discoverer!"

"Sounds not bad!" Ginny said.

After dinner, Ginny followed Klee and Hermione to the eighth floor.

Klee opened the [9527 Training Ground]. The moment she pushed the door open, Ginny was struck dumb—she never imagined that this secret base would be such a place!

On the right was a seemingly boundless and limitless collection of millions of books and orderly arranged bookshelves. In the middle were study tables and some experimental platforms and cauldrons specifically for potion experiments. On the left was a place where you could practice spells and conduct combat training at any time!

This wasn't some children's game of 'secret base'! This was simply a real 'secret base'!

Ginny ran around excitedly. Hermione pulled Ginny along, giving her various introductions. It was obvious that Hermione was also very excited, like the loneliness of winning five million in the lottery alone, with no one to cheer her on. Today, this cheering audience had finally appeared.

Klee quietly read his book. According to his estimation, in another ten months, he would be able to finish reading all the magic books in Hogwarts. He wanted to proofread and organize all the books, compiling them into books that conformed to modern library management.

Organizing the books was not the goal; the goal was to integrate the knowledge within the books—knowledge is power! This statement is still valid in the magical world!

When Ginny's excitement had basically disappeared, she asked a question: "Ron isn't one of your best friends? Why not share this secret base with them? Instead, it's me, a little girl who doesn't understand anything, who's being shared this secret?"

"Ginny, it's not that we don't want to share it with Harry and Ron, but that they currently lack sufficient self-restraint—in other words, they can't keep secrets. After a few years, when they mature, we will of course share this place with them," Klee explained. "Although you are younger, you are more reliable than your unreliable brothers! Be confident!

You will definitely become a true powerhouse in the future! Your brothers will all be proud of you!"
