The Little Superman of Hogwarts
#119 - Chapter 119 [Halloween Dinner Attack]
Kree carefully considered all the possibilities he knew about snakes, but he finally recalled something about snakes from one particular place.
"[Queen and Princess]!" Kree seemed to pierce through space and time, finally remembering the key point.
"It's that snake?!" Hermione was also shocked.
Queen and Princess, a ritual magic, aims to closely connect two people, granting them telepathy, shared strength, shared magic, and countless other advantages.
The most important ritual involves inscribing a magic circle and incorporating the [Queen] and [Princess]. Within the hexagram of the magic circle, one corner needs to be filled with something—a snake. The snake's role is to entangle the two souls, exchanging a portion of each soul!
After Kree's reminder, Hermione instantly understood—the so-called exchange of souls wasn't just about exchanging the souls of two [people], but also throwing the little snake's pitifully weak soul into both of their brains! This magic is actually like a blender, mixing the two people's essences together.
Now, the little snake's soul has become an inseparable part of Kree and Hermione's souls, so naturally—they both learned the language of snakes—[Parseltongue]!
For humans, it's called Parseltongue, but for snakes, it's just ordinary snake language... So Kree and Hermione both understand Parseltongue now.
====================
Soon, Halloween arrived—Halloween is a happy day. On this day, all sorts of strange and bizarre things appear at Hogwarts, and everyone has a great time.
Before the Halloween feast began, Kree said to Hermione, "Last year's Halloween feast had a troll. Do you think the same thing will happen this year?"
"Do you still want me to be a hero again?" Hermione asked curiously, "But I need to be given an antidote charm every eight hours now. Are you sure you want me, a patient, to do these things?"
"Forget it... you probably can't do anything this time anyway. The Basilisk is still too strong for you," Kree said.
"Basilisk? Do you know that thing is going to attack students?" Ginny walked over from the side and said softly.
"I'm just guessing. The person controlling the Basilisk is probably going to do something bad during tonight's chaos," Kree said, "The Basilisk also needs to celebrate Halloween!"
This year's Halloween feast was still grand. Dumbledore gave his usual speech before the feast began.
Eventually, the students happily ate their meals, dressed in various terrifying cosplays. Until halfway through the banquet, Kree noticed that Goyle had left!
Then Kree and Hermione exchanged a glance. Hermione raised her eyebrows, everything was understood without words.
In the original story, the Harry trio didn't attend the Halloween feast but went to the ghost party. But now, because of Kree, all five of them are enjoying their Halloween dinner.
At this time, the drama king Kree took the stage—he quietly walked to Harry's side and whispered, "Did you hear it?"
Harry was stunned, "You mean that voice appeared again? But I didn't hear it..."
"It's showtime for the 91st Legion! I think you should put on your gear and patrol the entire castle!" Kree said.
Harry's eyes immediately burned with fire. Although they had trained many times outside, they had never walked inside the castle except for the one time they showed it off on the last day of the previous school year.
Harry and Ron chatted briefly. The few of them nodded to Kree, and they quietly left.
====================
Inside the bathroom, "Goyle" summoned the Basilisk again. The Basilisk's huge snake head gently probed out of the bathroom.
If Kree were here, he would definitely understand why Goyle wouldn't be petrified—Goyle's eyes at this moment only had whites, without any pupils.
The Basilisk carefully wandered along the deserted corridor. Harry and the others walked from another corridor towards the area where the Basilisk was, but they were facing the Basilisk's tail, not directly facing the Basilisk.
"What's that?!" Neville shouted first. A huge snake tail disappeared around the corner.
"Basilisk!" Harry shouted, "It's time to fight! My teammates!"
The five reckless men rushed towards the Basilisk in a battle formation!
On the other side, "Goyle" heard Harry's shout and instantly felt a bad premonition. He quickly manipulated the Basilisk, wanting to return to the bathroom, but was blocked by Harry and the others.
"Don't look directly at the Basilisk! Seamus! Sniper rifle!" Harry hid behind the corner, directing the battle. Seamus, at the back of the team, immediately took out his sniper rifle wand and fiercely hit the Basilisk's tail.
The Basilisk turned its head, wanting to attack Seamus from the side, but Seamus was very clever and quickly ran behind Neville's large shield.
For a time, the scene became tense. The five people didn't gain any advantage—after all, they were facing a super beast that was hundreds of feet long!
Neville held up his shield, defending against the Basilisk's attacks. Harry, Dean, and Seamus constantly shot out various spells they could think of. Ron also took out his finger wand and constantly chanted spells.
At the end of the corridor—three figures appeared by the wall: Kree, Hermione, and Ginny.
"The battle over there doesn't look so good! Do we need help?" Hermione asked.
"Don't worry! This is Hogwarts. That old bumblebee will definitely not allow the Basilisk to kill anyone!" Kree said.
"Old bumblebee?" Ginny was confused.
"At most, they'll just be petrified, becoming like Hermione," Kree didn't explain what he meant by old bumblebee, but added.
Just as they were talking, the Basilisk seemed to receive an order to retreat, leaving with three steps and one turn of its head. The five members of the 91st team were eager to rush forward. At this moment, an accident happened.
The Basilisk suddenly turned its head, staring straight at the five people—everyone quickly lowered their heads, controlling themselves not to look at the Basilisk, but Seamus, who was at the back, was instantly petrified—Neville's smooth shield reflected the Basilisk's eyes into his sniper wand!
The Basilisk then instantly disappeared into a room—Kree immediately shouted damn it—sure enough, the Chamber of Secrets of Slytherin doesn't only have one bathroom entrance, it has more entrances and exits!
"Seamus!" Harry and Ron's tragic voices came. Kree dragged Hermione and Ginny away.
At this moment, the Halloween feast ended—at the end of the corridor, hundreds of young wizards came rushing over, mostly Ravenclaw and Gryffindor students—because their dormitories were in this direction.
So hundreds of people simultaneously saw the petrified Seamus, and the strange wand in Seamus's hand.
"It's the Heir of Slytherin! He opened the Chamber of Secrets! He killed Seamus!" Malfoy shouted, "Enemies of the Heir, beware! You Mudbloods are next!"
