The Little Superman of Hogwarts

#124 - Chapter 124 [Ginny's Talent]

Klee quickly rushed to the hospital wing. As he entered, Madam Pomfrey had just finished her examination and was preparing to give Harry a potion.

"Harry, looks like you're doing well!" Klee joked.

"Lockhart removed the bones in my left arm. Although I tried to stop him, I was too late," Harry explained.

"You should have let Ron do it. Ron is your healer and assistant!" Klee said.

"I wanted to, but I was in the stands at the time. By the time I got to Harry, his arm was already like this," Ron said, looking resentful.

"At least you did great! You caught the Golden Snitch, and Gryffindor won the match," Hermione praised.

"Thanks!" Harry replied happily.

"Looks like we'll be roommates tonight. I'm in that bed over there!" Hermione said, pointing to a bed near the window in the hospital wing. Hermione had been staying in the hospital wing ever since she was petrified.

"Poor classmate, haha!" Harry laughed.

Klee briefly examined Harry's injury. In the original story, Harry injured his right arm, but here it was his left, and the bones had disappeared all the way from his fingers to his shoulder blade. If this were the Muggle world, Harry would have been disabled for life.

Lockhart is truly more trouble than he's worth...

Klee thought for a moment and asked Ron, "Ron, what would you do if Harry were injured on the battlefield right now?"

"I'd use Skele-Gro and the 'Blessing Charm,' but the bones were drawn out..." Ron thought for a moment and said, "Skele-Gro! Right! I have Skele-Gro in my bag! I'll go get it!"

"No need. I think Madam Pomfrey will do a better job than you. No need to bother," Klee stopped Ron.

"Looks like my skills still need improvement," Ron said a little embarrassed.

"Ron, you're really great!" Ginny interjected, her admiration for her brother growing.

"Haha..." Ron scratched his head, feeling embarrassed.

Just as they were talking, Madam Pomfrey hurried in from outside, holding a bottle of potion in her hand.

"You should have come straight to me!" she said, rushing over, picking up the poor, lifeless thing that, just half an hour ago, had been a freely moving arm. "I can mend bones in a second—but to make them grow back..."

"Just needs a bottle of Skele-Gro and at least eight hours!" Ron interjected.

"Looks like you have good knowledge of potions!" Madam Pomfrey glanced at Ron meaningfully. "But you'll still feel terrible no matter what!"

"I remember the description in the book: it's like a nest of ants crawling in your arm, lasting for eight to twelve hours. It's unavoidable, but you can relieve it by eating candy or other sweets..." Ginny added, "That's sixth-year potions knowledge."

Now it was Madam Pomfrey and Ron's turn to be shocked. Madam Pomfrey poured out the Skele-Gro and gave it to Harry, then looked at Ginny.

Ron asked in surprise, "How do you know that?"

"I just finished reading that book..." Ginny said, embarrassed by her brother's gaze.

"Sixth-year potions knowledge! My goodness!" Ron suddenly felt like he didn't recognize his sister anymore. She was usually so low-key, but why would a first-year, a little witch who had just started school for less than three months, pay attention to sixth-year potions knowledge?

Madam Pomfrey looked at Ginny approvingly, "What a clever little girl! But a young witch like you must be given a serious warning—under no circumstances should you use your own concocted potions, because you can't analyze the content and accuracy of the potion!"

"Of course not!" Ginny quickly explained, "I just wanted to brew a cure for Hermione. You know, Hermione's condition is very dangerous right now."

"What a great friend! If I had a friend as good as you when I was young, I would definitely have become a greater healer," Madam Pomfrey exclaimed.

"Ginny's talent in potions is indeed good, but her better talent isn't potions..." Klee interjected, "Guess what she's better at?"

Klee said the last sentence to Ron, who looked at Ginny in confusion. A first-year student had already learned sixth-year potions knowledge, and that wasn't even her greatest talent. So, what was her real talent?

"Ginny, take out your wand and repeat after me!" Klee said to Ginny with his arms crossed.

Ginny obediently took out her wand and, at Klee's prompting, pointed it at the Skele-Gro bottle cap.

"Repeat after me—'Reducto! Diffindo!'" Klee said two words.

Ginny had never heard of these two spells. She simply repeated Klee's syllables: "'Reducto! Diffindo!'"

Two beams of light suddenly emerged from the tip of the wand, one blue and one red, intersecting each other and eventually intertwining into a braid...

The braid-shaped light shot towards the bottle cap at lightning speed, and in the stunned gazes of everyone, the bottle cap instantly shattered, and fragments flew everywhere, splattering the entire hospital wing.

Madam Pomfrey also looked shocked, even forgetting to reprimand the little witches and wizards for their reckless actions.

"Merlin's beard!" Ron, Harry, and the others shouted almost simultaneously. The other onlookers also looked at Ginny in shock, their eyes wide...

Ron stammered, "How many times have you practiced those two spells?"

Ginny stared blankly at the consequences she had caused, and after a long while, she replied to Ron, "I've never heard of those two spells... That was the first time I've used them!"

"That's your sister's real talent!" Klee said slowly, explaining to the surrounding little witches and wizards, "Ginny's magical talent is among the best in her year, and I dare say that among the upperclassmen, there are only a few people with stronger talents than Ginny! Like me or Hermione, can be compared to Ginny."

Ron was dumbfounded, and even Ginny herself looked incredulous. Did she really have such a powerful talent?

Hermione said, "Ginny's magical talent seems to be better than mine. I don't think I can do that... I didn't have that kind of effect the first time I used those two spells."

"You and Ginny have different focuses. Ginny learns faster, while you tend to have better learning depth. If you both practiced these two spells ten thousand times, you would definitely be stronger than Ginny in the end! Okay!" Klee clapped his hands and said, "Reparo!"

In the stunned gazes of everyone, the bottle cap returned to its original state!
