The Little Superman of Hogwarts

#27 - 第27章 「巫王:邓布利多」

The Sorcerer's Stone rested quietly in Klee's palm—it wasn't too small, about the size of a chicken egg. It was entirely red, but not like a natural red; it resembled the glow emitted by an LCD screen! Like the color of a red aurora. Even though the entire hall was dimly lit, the Stone still radiated a striking light.

Klee opened his eyes of X-ray vision, and in just an instant, his eyes were almost pierced by the powerful magic attached to the Stone. Klee had never seen a light stronger than this Stone. If Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration was a LV.1 light, then this Sorcerer's Stone would have to be at least LV.11, exceeding Professor McGonagall's magic light by ten levels!

This is the real Sorcerer's Stone!

No other proof was needed, not even an experiment. Just from the intensity of the light, one could easily determine that this was the real Sorcerer's Stone!

It could turn stone into gold, create elixirs of immortality, and even resurrect the dead—it could even grant everything you wished for!

This was the highest alchemical achievement in the wizarding world—the Sorcerer's Stone!

Klee's X-ray vision couldn't even see what the internal structure looked like. He wasn't an adult yet and hadn't absorbed enough sunlight.

Klee's heart grew heavier.

He came here to see the Sorcerer's Stone just to verify one thing: whether Dumbledore had truly died later on, or if he had just staged a play.

Now Klee was almost 99% certain that Dumbledore's death six years later was actually a drama, a stage play rehearsed by everyone according to Dumbledore's script…

The real Dumbledore should be completely unharmed, possibly watching everyone act from some corner…

Klee's scalp tingled just thinking about it!

If this theory was correct, then perhaps this scene was also within Dumbledore's calculations, and even—Dumbledore might be watching his "live broadcast" from some corner!

==========

I have to say, Klee guessed right.

Dumbledore was currently sitting in the Headmaster's chair, eating sweets and watching Klee, who looked bewildered and fearful.

Dumbledore was also a little surprised—someone who could see a family scene in the Mirror of Erised certainly wouldn't be a completely unscrupulous villain. This situation was a little different from what Dumbledore had feared.

Dumbledore also had a somewhat hesitant expression—such a powerful body, full of monstrous strength, did it still need magic? If magic wasn't that important to Klee, would it cause any changes in the future?

The entire British wizarding world could almost be said to belong to Dumbledore because Dumbledore was so powerful that even a character like Voldemort didn't dare to confront the White Wizard head-on, always pulling a bunch of younger brothers to court death…

Dumbledore looked at Klee in the image, pondering.

Fawkes stayed quietly by Dumbledore's side, the man and bird quietly watching the boy in the picture.

==========

On the other side, after Klee took out the Sorcerer's Stone, he had an awkward discovery—he took it out from the Mirror of Erised, but he didn't know how to put it back!

Awkward…

If Klee took it back, it might disrupt the plot. If he just left it there, it would cause even more chaos.

No matter what he chose, it would cause Dumbledore to change the "plot," which was awkward…

After hesitating for a long time, Klee finally left the room with the Sorcerer's Stone.

Looking at the time—it was just 11:40 PM, not even midnight yet. After sneaking back to the dormitory, Klee held the Sorcerer's Stone in his hand and fell asleep.

Continuous high-intensity combat for 40 minutes—even a 'one-night-seven-times' man couldn't handle it!

Early the next morning, Klee appeared in the library, but Hermione was clearly earlier and had already started studying!

“I’ve basically read all the books in the ordinary section now. Do you know any way to get books from the restricted section?” Klee asked quietly.

“I asked Madam Pince, and to access any books in the restricted section, you must have a note signed by a professor! But—there are thousands of bookshelves just in the ordinary section. Even if I only count 200 books per shelf, that’s over 200,000 books! You definitely can’t have read them all!” Hermione said decisively.

Of course, Klee hadn't read them all—what he meant by "read them all" was that he had read the typical representative works of each type of book. For example, in Potions, he had read the most comprehensive books, and the rest were basically specialized books focusing on a specific potion or type of potion. Unless it was for preparing a special potion, there was no need to specialize.

Although Klee's daily reading volume was an astonishing number, he couldn't possibly have read all the books in just the few weeks since the start of the semester. Klee calculated that, at his current reading speed, it would take at least 4 years to complete the [Library Completion] achievement.

“Do you think I can get a note from Snape?” Klee suddenly asked.

“If you can get a note from Snape, I think you could command the moon in the sky. You must have become a King of Wizards,” Hermione said jokingly.

“King of Wizards [The King of Wizards]?” Klee smiled, thinking about the Sorcerer's Stone last night. He didn't dare mention this title at Hogwarts. If anyone at Hogwarts could live up to this title, then it would undoubtedly be Dumbledore!

Dumbledore set up a trap, which was the Sorcerer's Stone's test, but he put the real Sorcerer's Stone at the end—what kind of concept was that? What he meant was—take it if you want, I'll take it if I want it, and I won't if I don't!

How terrifying! How high of an ability would it take to cultivate such confidence? Dumbledore wasn't a novice. His confidence could only mean that he really had that much power!

Therefore, Dumbledore might really have the ability to use the moon as a servant girl.

The Sorcerer's Stone was currently in Klee's close-fitting pocket. This thing wasn't like Ravenclaw's Diadem. The Diadem was more of a symbolic thing, and its actual ability was very weak—maybe the most valuable thing inside now was Voldemort's soul fragment. Although the Sorcerer's Stone was very evil, one could definitely get a return after paying a certain price. It was a divine artifact, and for safety, Klee could only carry it with him.

“I actually have a way to get Snape's borrowing permission. Although I'm not a Slytherin, do you believe it?” Klee said.

“Do you mean to bet with me?” Hermione raised her head, looking at Klee with interest. She didn't understand why Klee looked so ordinary, but was so confident.

“We can bet. What do you want to bet?” Klee looked at Hermione with confidence.

“Let’s bet on time! The losing side will be the winner's butler for enough time—like carrying their bag or doing errands.

How about a month?” Hermione said.

“Great! I agree!” Klee replied with a smile.
