Chapter 381 Can’t be forgiven easily

 “It’s all my fault.” Jiang Wanan muttered softly.

Lin Xi patted her head and said, "It's okay. Xiao Zhouzhou won't blame you, and neither will anyone else. Don't be unhappy. You stay here with Xiao Zhouzhou, and mommy goes out to talk to the teachers, okay?"

Jiang Wan'an nodded, and after Lin Xi went out, she walked closer to Lu Zezhou, and then gently held his hand.

Jiang Wan'an thought for a while and moved the stool to the bed. Then she sat down and wrapped her hands around Lu Zezhou's cold hands.

"When you get better, I will use all my pocket money to treat you to a big meal. I will never let you eat poisonous food!" Jiang Wanan vowed while sitting in front of the bed.

She really regretted it. If she had known, she would rather not buy it than buy it from a roadside stall for him, but she still chose a cleaner stall. If it was not clean, Lu Zezhou would definitely feel even more uncomfortable now.

The more I think about Jiang Wan'an, the more I blame myself and wish I could give myself a beating.

She was still beside the bed, lowering her head and muttering acknowledging her mistake. The person on the bed had opened his eyes and looked at her with a half-smile, but his eyes were full of love.

"Jiang Wan'an, it's so funny how you admit your mistake, and you woke me up. I can't forgive you easily." Lu Zezhou said with a hoarse voice because he had just woken up.

Jiang Wan'an heard the voice and looked up in confusion, then blushed.

How could Lu Zezhou see her "humble" look when she admitted her mistake? It would be so embarrassing.

"Did you hear everything?" Jiang Wan'an lowered her head and rubbed her hands nervously with a red face, but she forgot that the big hand wrapped in her hands was Lu Zezhou's.

Lu Zezhou looked down at his hands and suddenly felt very good. He said frankly: "I heard it in a daze."

Jiang Wan'an sighed inwardly. She thought Lu Zezhou was sleeping deeply.

Jiang Wan'an nodded slightly, and said again after a few seconds: "I'm sorry."

“It’s not your fault, don’t blame yourself.” Lu Zezhou said as he pushed himself up to sit up.

With quick eyes and quick hands, Jiang Wan'an pushed Lu Zezhou down without saying a word, looked at him seriously and said, "Lie down for a while and get some sleep."

Lu Zezhou listened to her words and lay down again. After lying down, he looked at Jiang Wan'an's hand and said, "Shake hands."

"Huh?" Jiang Wan'an looked confused and didn't understand what he was saying.

“I asked you to wrap my hand again.” Lu Zezhou explained.

Jiang Wan'an nodded, sat down again and wrapped Lu Zezhou's hand. Lu Zezhou's hand was so big that she needed two hands to barely wrap it up.

Not long after, Lu Zezhou closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep. He felt at ease with Jiang Wan'an by his side, so he slept soundly.

Not long after Lu Zezhou fell asleep, Lin Xi and Lu Lin pushed through the ward and came in. They talked to the teachers outside for a while, but now the teachers have gone back.

 “Are you still sleeping?” Lin Xi asked in a low voice.

"I just woke up once." Jiang Wan'an replied softly, and glanced at Lu Zezhou after speaking, for fear of waking him up.

"Dad, shall I take you back to school? The teachers and your two friends have already left." Lu Lin said.

 “I want to accompany Xiao Zhouzhou.” Jiang Wanan said pitifully.

"It will delay your studies, so there is no need to accompany this brat." Lu Lin said.

 “There is physical education class in the afternoon, it’s okay.” Jiang Wan’an was still unwilling.
