The Mountain of Ice and Fire
#1033 - Jaime Lannister
Tommen and Myrcella were already two beautiful blond-haired, blue-eyed children, with handsome features. However, their faces were covered in dirt and ash, and they wore ragged clothes, making them look no different from the dirty children here.
Tommen and Myrcella stood up and walked towards their mother, but suddenly they both stopped and looked behind her.
The pregnant woman turned around and saw several well-known thugs from this area walking towards her with lewd smiles.
One of the dwarfs said, "Hey, woman of the one-armed rogue, a Dothraki officer has taken a fancy to you. He doesn't mind your big belly, he followed you here, and wants you to go see him."
Another bald man stroked his head, a lecherous grin on his face: "With your delicate skin and fair face, it's a pity you're with a one-armed mercenary."
The leading thug laughed, "That imposing officer is the king's cavalry captain. We usually only get to see him from afar. Today he came here and spoke a few words to us brothers, which is an unprecedented honor. Woman, come with us. As long as you please that captain, you can live in the palace from now on, eat and drink well, and happily give birth to your child. Tsk tsk, you can have as many as you want in the future."
A thug with a vertical scar on his eyebrow opened his clothes, revealing a chest full of black hair: "Woman, I heard that Dothraki people even mess with horses. If you follow them, you'll have a good life."
This sentence caused a burst of laughter from the four hooligans.
"Mother, come here," Tommen said calmly. He reached out and gripped the hilt of the short sword at his waist.
The 'mother' Tommen spoke of was Connie, who had once impersonated Cersei. Connie, the personal maid of Cersei.
Tommen was Tommen Lannister, and Myrcella was Myrcella Lannister. The one-armed mercenary was their father, Jaime Lannister.
Jaime would give Tommen rigorous combat training whenever he had time, and Tommen had grown up quickly during this period.
The years of escape were like a war, which could catalyze a child's maturity the fastest.
Myrcella had painted her face with very dirty ash to hide her beauty and avoid unnecessary trouble. But the beauty of her features was not easy to hide. Anyone who looked closely would notice that her features were very delicate. Whenever thugs approached, Myrcella would always turn to the side, not letting them notice her face.
The dirty coarse clothes disguised her figure well, so as not to stimulate the obscene desires of the hooligans.
"Gido, Gerald, Aleku, Lyon, if you don't want to die, get out of here, or I'll tell my husband Arthur what you just said," the pregnant woman shouted sharply.
Jaime's alias was Arthur!
"Tell Arthur? That one-armed mercenary? His glorious days are over. Who dares to go against the king's cavalry captain? Do you think he dares?" Gido, the leader, laughed.
"Woman, we usually give in to him, but today is different. You've been favored by the king's captain. Your Arthur will never be mighty again. Come with us, we have to report to the lord," the dwarf Gerald laughed. His eyes kept wandering over Myrcella's body.
After the mother was taken away, this daughter, no matter how dirty, was still a virgin, and most likely still a maiden. They used to be afraid of the one-armed mercenary Arthur, but now they were not afraid at all. With the king's cavalry captain backing them up, who would dare to provoke them?
The four hooligans walked towards Connie unscrupulously.
Connie's face changed, and she kept backing away.
Tommen stood in front of Connie: "Please leave, and I won't tell my father about today's events."
His words caused another burst of laughter.
Gido, the leader, whistled a melodious whistle, and three thugs immediately separated, forming a fan shape around Connie and the others.
Gido laughed: "We'll take the woman back and give her to the Dothraki people. This little girl, although dirty and ugly, is enough for us brothers to have fun for a while."
The bald Aleku laughed: "Gido, you want this little female, this boy belongs to me."
"Aleku, are you going to shove your big dick into the boy's asshole again?" Gido laughed.
"No, it's the mouth. My thing is long enough to be stuffed into his mouth, through his throat, and straight into his stomach."
The hooligans laughed excitedly again.
Shoo!
Tommen drew his short sword.
The short sword was very sharp, and Jaime had replaced the short sword with an inconspicuous hilt.
"Don't force us, I'll kill people," Tommen said, gritting his teeth. But there was an obvious tremor in his voice, not knowing whether it was because of excitement or fear.
The hooligans laughed again.
Shoo shoo shoo!
The four hooligans drew their knives together.
They had seen the power of the one-armed mercenary, and they had also seen the one-armed mercenary's usual swordsmanship training for this boy. The boy's short sword was too bright and looked too sharp. They believed that they did not have the ability to block the short sword with their bare hands.
"Go!" Gido shouted, waving an iron hook in his hand.
Puff!
Suddenly, an arrow shaft appeared on Gido's throat, with bloody shreds of flesh on the arrowhead.
Gido's throat rattled, or rather, it wasn't his throat, but a strange sound coming from his mouth. His face was full of horror, his eyes widened, his knees bent forward, and he staggered one, two, three steps before his legs softened and he knelt down. His head tilted forward, causing his body to fall down.
A long arrow shaft was stuck in the back of Gido's neck.
Blood flowed from his mouth, nostrils, and neck. Half of his face was pressed against the dirt, and half of his face was twisted. One dead eye stared at Myrcella, and Myrcella met this terrible bulging dead fish eye and let out a shocking scream.
The hooligans were all horrified, stunned, and turned their heads to see the previous Dothraki cavalry captain standing in the distance, holding a bow in his hand.
"I told you to invite this woman back, not to humiliate and bully her," Captain Damian York shouted, "Today is His Majesty the King's inspection of the wharf and the navy. I don't want to kill more people, so you all get out of here."
The hooligans were frightened and trembled. Hearing the word 'get out', they were greatly relieved and ran towards the sea in a swarm. Only the road to the sea would not pass by the Dothraki people.
"Everyone stop, come back," Captain Damian York's voice suddenly rang out again.
The hooligans stopped as if they were under a spell.
"Take your companions away."
The three hooligans came back tremblingly, and together they lifted Gido's body. They still dared not walk past the Dothraki people and went towards the sea.
Captain Damian York walked towards the pregnant woman. Tommen put the short sword back into its sheath, but his hand pressed tightly on the hilt.
The Dothraki's arrow just now shocked Tommen.
Myrcella hid behind her mother, not daring to let the Dothraki see her face.
Myrcella had heard too many stories about the Dothraki's barbarism, cruelty, killing, and bloodiness in this 'slum'. Gido's instant death just now had also verified the reliability of the rumors. Myrcella was full of fear and deep vigilance towards the Dothraki - although the Dothraki's arrow had saved her, Tommen, and Connie just now.
Captain Damian York came to the pregnant woman: "Woman, don't be afraid. We startled you when we rode our horses at the city gate. His Majesty the King ordered me to come and apologize and give you this bag of coins. I apologize to you here. This bag of money is not mine, it was given to you by His Majesty the King. He hopes that you and your child are safe."
The pregnant woman dared not answer, nor dared to take the money bag. She couldn't believe it.
Tommen and Myrcella also couldn't believe what they heard. They were originally worried that the Mountain had sent the Dothraki to arrest them.
"Woman, take it. I don't have time to stay here any longer," Captain Damian York said impatiently, "I have to go back to the wharf to protect His Majesty the King. Take it quickly!"
Connie calmed down and reached out to take the money bag: "May the gods protect His Majesty the King, may the gods send blessings to you, my lord."
"I hope the gods will also send good luck to you and your children," Captain Damian York laughed.
This Dothraki man came and went quickly. As if only a heartbeat had passed, he quickly walked around the corner, like a gust of wind, and soon disappeared.
Connie, Tommen, and Myrcella's eyes were blocked by several dilapidated stone houses, and they could no longer see the Dothraki man, but the sound of horses neighing came in the wind. The sound of hooves floated over, getting farther and farther away.
Connie, Tommen, and Myrcella all had the illusion of dreaming.
Looking at the ground, there was still blood where Gido had fallen.
"Let's go back quickly. Your father said he would take us away from here."
"Mother, where are we going again?"
"East!"
"This is already the far east," the young Tommen sighed like an adult.
"Go east, keep going east. Your father is afraid of the Mountain and doesn't want the Mountain to know we are here."
"Mother, people say that Quarth is training the navy to continue east. They want to fight to Asshai, or even farther east."
"Yes, I heard that too."
Tommen and Myrcella supported their mother on the left and right and returned 'home'.

"Hey!" A hand patted a mercenary on the shoulder from behind.
The dark-skinned mercenary turned around and saw a gold coin in front of him.
A fully armed general was holding a gold coin between his fingers in front of him.
The general was followed by several guards, all fully armed, with tall, brightly colored feathers inserted in their helmets, each with an arrogant and invincible expression.
The general's armor was embroidered with a golden sea monster.
"My lord," the mercenary's dissatisfaction at being disturbed immediately disappeared, and he said with a smile, "Whatever you want me to do, my lord, please feel free to order me."
This mercenary was much taller than this lord. But this general had an extraordinary demeanor. He was Theon Greyjoy, the deputy commander of the Quarth navy.
He was ordered by His Majesty the King to find the one-armed mercenary who carried the pregnant woman with one hand.
The Mountain did not tell Theon the doubts in his heart: he saw the one-armed mercenary, and that figure was somewhat familiar, reminding him of an old friend.
A pregnant woman and a one-armed man were both easy to find.
Their appearances were too distinctive.
When he asked at the wharf, many people could remember seeing such two people. Among the patrolling soldiers, some had personally seen the one-armed mercenary board the Hurricane.
Theon said: "There is a one-armed mercenary on your merchant ship. I want you and your brothers to go up and throw him off the ship. This gold coin is to treat you to a drink. After it's done, I will give each of you another gold coin."
There were a total of three mercenaries bragging and chatting under the Hurricane merchant ship. They were all tall and strong guys, and they all looked like they were not easy to mess with.
The black-skinned mercenary took the gold coin from Theon's fingers and laughed: "My lord, you may not be able to ask us to do other things, but we are best at kicking people off the ship."
Another red-haired, broad-browed mercenary laughed: "My lord, that one-armed mercenary boarded the ship to find our captain. He said he hoped to get a mercenary job... Two brothers, don't move, I'll go alone."
"You'd better all go up. I heard that one-armed mercenary may be a little difficult to deal with," Theon laughed.
"Oh! My lord, I'm not easy to mess with either," the black-skinned mercenary said. He raised his hand and stopped his two brothers from speaking, "I'll go alone." The black man turned and went up the gangplank.
"You two had better go up. I'm afraid he'll be thrown down by the one-armed man," Theon laughed.
The two mercenaries laughed loudly: "My lord, don't worry, we will definitely drink the wine you invited us to."
"I'm also happy to buy you a drink."
*
In the captain's room of the Hurricane, the captain was a well-dressed man with a clean-shaven face and chin, neatly dressed, and scented oil on his hair, with the air of an aristocrat. On his legs sat a young girl, speaking fluent Quarth Common Tongue, while beating the captain's chest with her small fists.
Flirting!
Judging from the girl's dress and temperament, she was undoubtedly a woman from the pleasure house.
Running a ship is hard work. Every time they arrive at a place, the captain and crew like to go to the pleasure house first, the tavern second, and the casino third. If the captain has money, he will bring the woman on board for fun.
The one-armed mercenary appeared at the door. He was none other than Jaime Lannister. He could tell at a glance that the captain was not a real aristocrat, and this woman was 100% a prostitute from the pleasure house.
Jaime knocked on the open door.
The captain and the woman's eyes fell on Jaime together.
"My lord, I am a mercenary and need a job."
"Get out!" The captain spoke simply and clearly.
Jaime did not move.
"I am very good at swordsmanship, loyal and courageous. I swear in the name of the Sea God that if you hire me, my lord, I am willing to give my life for you when necessary."
People who sail the sea are most in awe of the Sea God. They believe that oaths made in the name of the Sea God are the most sincere.
On the sea, no one dares to lie in a way that blasphemes the Sea God.
"I already have a mercenary."
"I can do it without a commission. Just give me a bite to eat, my lord," Jaime said.
"You only have one hand, soldier, go away, leave here quickly," the captain said.
"My one hand is worth more than the two hands of your best mercenary," Jaime said lightly, "Just provide food."
