“Your Grace…” Little Devil Tyrion Lannister spoke with difficulty, but his words were immediately interrupted by Daenerys, “Take Jorah down. I want him to leave immediately. I don’t want to see him again!”

Grey Worm and Hero, the two leaders, immediately stepped forward. Grey Worm said coldly, “Ser, let’s go!”

Jorah Mormont was heartbroken. He looked at Daenerys’s back, tears already welling up in his eyes.

“Your Grace, I am willing to die for you, you know that!”

But Daenerys stood with her back to him, motionless, like a statue cast in iron.

“Your Grace, you should have cut off his head.” Marchero said, still calm as a mountain. He ignored the many gazes that wanted to kill him, turning a blind eye to all the threats around him.

This man possessed nerves of steel and a heart of black iron. Nothing seemed to have the slightest impact on his emotions.

“Priest, you don’t understand Ser Jorah now. You have driven away the most loyal warrior by Her Grace’s side.” Little Devil looked up at Marchero, “You are making a mistake, unless you didn’t come to help Her Grace.”

“I only believe what I see in the flames, Lord Tyrion.”

“You know me?”

“I saw all of you in the flames. The Lord of Light is the only true god, and Her Grace is the only Unburnt. She has her own mission, and I am here to assist Her Grace in completing it.”

“Priest Marchero, I don’t need your help. Captain Grolley, how far is it to the nearest island?” Daenerys struggled to maintain her queenly dignity.

The merchant ship that had brought the priest hurriedly left after delivering him.

Jorah Mormont’s departure broke Daenerys’s heart. He had protected her on stormy nights and had dared to kiss her. She knew very well that he loved her deeply. However, the Queen could not tolerate betrayal, let alone excuses and prevarications after betrayal.

“There are no islands in this area, Your Grace,” Captain Grolley replied.

“Then get to shore as soon as possible and send Priest Marchero ashore.”

“As you command, Your Grace!”

Marchero’s expression remained unchanged when he heard that the Queen wanted to send him away, as if he had known this would happen all along.

Little Devil Tyrion wanted to satirize Marchero for being driven away, but he swallowed the words that came to his lips. This strange man would not care about other people’s satire or ridicule; he simply didn’t care. Varys felt the same way; verbal attacks had no effect on Marchero, only swords would work.

“Your Grace, I can help you win battles and see omens in times of trouble, predicting the future from the flames.”

“Priest, do you need me to send you off the ship immediately?” Daenerys’s words were as cold as ice.

Priest Marchero stopped talking. Even if his face, as black as asphalt, turned red, no one would be able to see it.

“Your Grace, I know that your central fleet has a commander named Victarion. Before I disembark, please allow me to board his flagship.”

This was a very strange request.

Victarion had not surrendered for long. Because he was an Ironborn, he had a bad reputation. Ser Barristan Selmy and others simply disdained to be with him. Victarion was also very proud, and he refused to be with Barristan and others who looked down on him. He was not on Daenerys’s big ship; he was on his own flagship—his flagship was named Iron Victory by him.

Daenerys heard the sound of a small boat being lowered into the sea. She heard Jorah going down the gangway into the small boat. She was upset and annoyed by the change in the relationship between the monarch and his subjects caused by Marchero’s arrival. She was noncommittal about Marchero’s request. She walked towards the spiral staircase, and the maids Illy and Jiqi hurriedly followed.

A clear and melodious ‘jiu jiu’ sound resounded through the sky. Everyone looked up, and a dragon emerged from the clouds in the sky. In the blink of an eye, another dragon chased after it. The dragon roars of the two dragons were like the sound of beautiful jade and meteorite iron colliding, the sound cut through the sea and sky, touching people’s hearts.

The two dragons folded their wings and swooped down with sharp cries. The chasing dragon stretched out its claws and suddenly grabbed the dragon in front. The dragon in front turned around to fight back, and the two dragons’ claws fiercely grabbed each other’s bodies. In an instant, the two dragons were entangled into a ball of scales and armor, tumbling down from the sky, dragon roars constantly ringing out. All kinds of seabirds in the distance fled in panic.

Daenerys stood at the entrance of the spiral staircase and looked up, seeing her two dragons fighting each other. The first time they fought, she was so afraid that they would hurt each other, but it turned out that it was just a warm-up exercise for them.

Marchero saw a real dragon for the first time. He tilted his head back at a large angle, exposing his neck. Varys wanted to cut it off with a knife, but he remained motionless, withdrawing his gaze from Marchero’s throat and looking up at the top of his head.

In the sky, the two dragons were entangled into a ball, like a shining ball of scales falling down. Just as they were about to fall to the surface of the water, the two dragons separated with a whoosh and flew in circles, as if they were declaring their victory in the fight.

Daenerys looked at the two dragons, a smile on her face, just like a mother seeing her two children. If the wizard’s prediction was true, then the three dragons were her children in this life, and her only children.

A white dragon flew through the gaps between the warships, its wings hitting the sea water; it howled and swept past a sea monster flag, ‘blowing’ a soldier on the ship’s side into the sea water. The soldiers on the ship were surprised and delighted, rushing to the ship’s side to put down ropes to save people, while mocking the unfortunate soldier’s embarrassment.

The white dragon was the most mischievous, and liked to joke with the naval warriors. Its name was Viserion, the smallest of the three dragons, named after Daenerys’s brother Viserys to commemorate him.

The other dragon was bronze in color, larger than the white dragon, named Rhaegal, named after Daenerys’s eldest brother Rhaegar Targaryen to commemorate Prince Rhaegar.

Rhaegal rose higher, turning into a small black dot, and was about to disappear from sight, but suddenly swooped down. The black dot quickly grew larger. It swooped down straight, its speed undiminished. The white dragon flew obliquely, trying to interfere with Rhaegal’s flight path, but Rhaegal let out a threatening dragon roar and continued to swoop down…

Boom!

Rhaegal crashed into the sea like a boulder, splashing water everywhere and causing waves to roll. The generals and soldiers shouted in unison, and Marchero watched in astonishment…

When Rhaegal emerged from the sea and flapped its wings out of the water, it was holding a large fish in its claws. The white fish was thrown into the air by Rhaegal, and with a whoosh, a dragon flame with an orange-yellow color and a hint of green spewed out, enveloping the large fish and burning with a sizzling sound. The large fish fell, just falling into Rhaegal’s open mouth.

Rhaegal swallowed the large fish in one gulp, then rose again and鸣叫 at Viserion, who was circling beside it, as if provoking it. So, Viserion also rose and then swooped down, plunging straight into the sea. When it flew out of the sea, it was holding a large fish in its claws. It spewed out dragon flame like Rhaegal, which was a dragon flame with a golden color and a hint of orange-red. After the large fish was roasted in the dragon flame, it fell into Viserion’s mouth.

Dragons eat cooked food!

“This is truly unbelievable!” Marchero murmured, “What beautiful magical creatures, what perfect bodies. And where is the other dragon? I know there are three dragons.”

“Priest, didn’t you see three dragons in the flames?” Little Devil Tyrion said sarcastically.

“Only by seeing the real dragon with your own eyes can you have the most real shock.” Marchero was not at all uneasy. The first time he saw a dragon, his eternally unchanging expression changed!

Everyone was looking up at the dragons!

Marchero noticed that the scales of the smaller dragon were fresh milky white, and its horns, wing bones, and spine were dark gold, like shining metal in the sun. The larger dragon was made up of the emerald green of summer and the bronze color of autumn.

Marchero knew the names of the two dragons: the white dragon was called Viserion, and the bronze dragon was called Rhaegal.

The two dragons competed to catch fish and eat fish. Their fishing skills were underwater, and they could not be seen with the naked eye. They plunged into the sea, and they never missed each time they flew out. After swallowing several large fish each, the two dragons flew to the front of the fleet and soared, then circled upwards circle by circle, rising higher and higher, as if they were having a competition.

Marchero was almost suffocated as he watched!

Amazing magical creatures, only God could create such magical, rare, and shocking life.

“Your Grace, this is truly amazing!” A voice sounded beside Daenerys. Priest Marchero did not know when he had come to Daenerys’s side.

Ser Barristan stared at him, following him, his hand on the hilt of his sword. In the past, it would have been Jorah Mormont following by the Queen’s side.

Daenerys did not scold Marchero. The wonderful performance of the two children just now had improved her mood a lot. On the sea, Jori Mormont’s small boat was being protected by Victarion’s Iron Victory, sailing towards the invisible shore to the north.

The sea was calm at this time!

Daenerys, who had smiled because the two children had flown back, did not respond to Marchero’s words. She looked coldly at the priest.

This priest was guarded against. He seemed to know everyone’s secrets, but everyone knew nothing about him. Daenerys did not like such a person by her side.

He might know her like the back of his hand because he was proficient in black magic, but she knew nothing about him. This feeling was not good, and there was no sense of security at all.

“Legend has it that some dragons can capture giant sea monsters from the sea. I bet, Your Grace, that once your three dragons truly grow up, they will easily capture giant monsters from the sea.”

Even though Daenerys was cold and disgusted with him, Marchero was not at all embarrassed. He did not seem to be afraid of angering the Queen. You must know that with one order from the Queen, his head would be moved.

Daenerys’s face softened. Marchero’s words that her dragons could capture sea monsters from the sea pleased her.

“That’s just a legend, Your Grace,” the Iron Guard Captain said, “According to legend, some wise old dragons can even live for a thousand years.”

“Then how long can dragons live?” Daenerys raised her head to look at the sky in front of her. She saw Viserion swooping down from the sky, and when it was close to the surface of the water, it made a turn and skimmed low over the mast of a warship. Its wings flapped slowly, and the wind from its wings blew up the limp sails.

Marchero continued to interject: “Dragons have a much longer natural lifespan than humans. That’s what the books I’ve read say… Across the Narrow Sea, the dragons that the people of the Seven Kingdoms are most familiar with are the dragons of the Targaryen family. They breed for war, and they also die in war. It is difficult to slay a dragon, but Her Grace must not take it lightly, because it is not impossible to slay a dragon. We must prevent the enemy from killing our dragons.”

We?!

Although Daenerys had already issued an order to evict him, Marchero obviously did not listen. He vaguely regarded himself as Daenerys’s advisor.

“Ser Barristan, you were once by my father’s side. Please tell me the stories of dragons that you know.”

Barristan stood up straight respectfully: “Your Grace, Balerion the Black Dread only died during the reign of Jaehaerys I the Conciliator, living for a total of two hundred years. He was so big that he could swallow a whole wild bull in one bite.”

“Dragons will not stop growing as long as they have food and freedom,” Marchero asserted.

“Freedom?” Daenerys finally interjected, slightly puzzled, “What do you mean?”

“In King’s Landing, your ancestors built a giant domed fortress for their dragons, called the ‘Dragonpit,’ which still stands on Rhaenys’s Hill, but it has long been a ruin. In the past, the royal dragons lived there, like a large cave, with very wide iron gates outside. The bronze iron gates of the Dragonpit could allow thirty knights to ride side by side on horseback. Even so, the dragons in the Dragonpit never grew to the size of their ancestors. This is because of the walls and the dome.”

Daenerys looked at Ser Barristan, and the Ser nodded: “The Dragonpit is indeed a ruin. It was built to confine your ancestors’ dragons. The Seven Kingdoms have been unified, and there is no longer any war on the entire continent, and letting the dragons out would cause a lot of trouble. They would attack herds of cattle, capture goats, and sometimes even eat shepherds. Since the dragons were locked up, their bodies have no longer grown larger, and each generation has become smaller than the last. The last generation of dragons was about the size of mountain eagles.”

“Walls can limit volume, then farmers should be like dwarves, and kings should be like giants.” Daario Naharis, the head of the Stormcrows, laughed, “The opposite is true. Big people often come out of thatched huts, and dwarfs live in castles. That’s how I and the Prime Minister are.”

“People are people.” Marchero said indifferently, “Dragons are dragons.”

Barristan said: “Commander Daario, when I lived in King’s Landing, King Aerys sat on the Iron Throne. I had the honor of seeing the giant dragon skulls hanging on the walls of the throne room. The dragons did get smaller year after year after being locked in the Dragonpit, and each generation was not as good as the last.”

“Viserys mentioned those skulls to me,” Daenerys said, “It is said that the Usurper took them down and hid them underground because he could not bear to have them overlooking him sitting on the stolen throne every day.”

“You are right, Your Grace!” Barristan said.

“Your Grace, what about the black dragon Drogon? I didn’t see the black dragon. Where did it go to forage? Or… did it fly far away?” Marchero really had no scruples. In his special attention to dragons, there was an overflow of loving expression. His eternally unchanging cold expression changed because of the dragons.

"Maester, Drogon often goes far away to hunt, many, many leagues from the ship. We cannot see. Drogon was hungry from a young age, and grew the fastest. He was the first to spread his wings and test flight on the water, the first to soar and fly between ships, the first to rush into the floating clouds and disappear without a trace... the first to start hunting and killing. He grew the fastest and was also the first to bear my weight, allowing me to ride him. He is now a juvenile, often away from home for days without returning, and I cannot know exactly where he has gone."

"Your Majesty would do well to have a way to summon the black dragon back. Dragons are the highest of magical creatures, but they are not invincible. The Valyrian Empire had more than five hundred dragons, and many dragons fell in war during the empire's noble families' conquests. Be careful, Your Majesty."

"Maester, what did you see?"

"Yes, Your Majesty, I saw some bad fragments of the future. Your dragons will be shot to death by crossbow bolts and spears. If you do not let me stay by your side, you will not be able to know the threats to the dragons in time."

"Who would kill my dragons?"

"Even if I told you now, you would not believe it, Your Majesty."

"If you want to stay by my side, tell me now."

"The North is currently facing a crisis. The Others from the Land of Always Winter have awakened and summoned a million wights to march south, to turn the continent of Westeros into the Others' domain, and to turn all humans and human-like life into their soldiers: wights. Fortunately, the Wall blocks the wights from crossing. The Wall is a huge magic array, built specifically to block the Others when winter comes. The fatal threat to your dragons will come from the leader of the Others: the Night King."
