The Natural Empire of the Oceanic Dragon

#10 - Drink water to satisfy your affection

After nearly ten minutes of entanglement, the claws of the dragon and tiger collided, sending both sides flying backward with tremendous force.

The tiger-man gasped loudly, a ferocious grin on her face, and said:

“So, the dragon is nothing special after all!”

Attilan looked at the tiger-man with scorn.

“I'm just a whelp. Your real enemy is an adult green dragon. Even if you beat me, with your brains, you definitely won't beat him!”

As he spoke, Attilan used his last druidic spell slot to cast a spell to heal his injuries.

A shimmering green light dissipated, and many wounds remained on Attilan's body. However, he did not continue to cast healing spells. The tiger-man immediately understood what was happening.

“Your spells are used up. How many more tricks does your intelligence have to help you defeat me?”

The tiger-man's words could not shake Attilan, who looked at her with disdain.

“My spells are gone, but how much qi do you have left? If you want to defeat an adult dragon, that little bit of qi won't be enough!”

As expected, Attilan's mockery was more effective, hitting the tiger-man's sore spot.

“Even if I have only one breath left, I can still defeat you! Even without qi, I'll bite with my teeth and kill him with my claws!”

Filled with intense hatred for the green dragon, the tiger-man gathered her last bit of qi into her fist, determined to crush this hateful whelp with this punch!

The tiger-man had just taken two steps forward when roots suddenly burst from the ground, grabbing her ankle and disrupting her balance. The tiger-man's expression turned ugly.

Even though she quickly adjusted her stance to attack, Attilan had already taken advantage of her distraction to break free from the roots and soar into the sky.

“Didn't expect that I could still cast spells, did you?”

The druidic spell slots were used up, but the dragon's body was filled with magic power. Attilan had already mastered the ability to use magic power to cast some spells during these days of training.

Among them were Root Entanglement and Heal Wounds. At this moment, as he flew into the sky, Attilan's body was once again enveloped in the shimmering green light of the healing spell.

Even when using his own magic power, the druid could still leverage some of the surrounding natural energy to reduce combat consumption. Therefore, Attilan did not use the purely self-consuming talent spell, Water of Life.

Now that Attilan had flown into the sky, the tiger-man once again leaped up like a cannonball, almost giving Attilan's abdomen a close encounter with her fist.

The reason it was only 'almost' was because a vine suddenly emerged from the forest and wrapped around the tiger-man's foot. With a chop of her hand, she severed the vine, and the tiger-man landed with an unsightly expression.

“This is… a Creeper Vine?”

The bear-man had noticed this approaching Creeper Vine early on. Since the Creeper Vine was stained with the aura of Attilan's Lightning Breath, he knew that this Creeper Vine must be related to his shameless disciple.

Most druids choose wolves or eagles as animal companions. More powerful ones will choose tigers, bears, crocodiles, or giant squids.

Few people would think of taming a Creeper Vine as a partner, stimulating the Creeper Vine with thunderous waves in conjunction with food, and then increasing intimacy with animal friendship. It seems that it is really possible to tame a Creeper Vine.

This kid really has some cleverness. If this method is promoted, it will significantly improve the combat power of low-level druids. When defending the balance of nature, the number of low-level druids injured or even killed will be greatly reduced.

It's just that relying on the Creeper Vine is not conducive to the growth of the druid, and there are not so many Creeper Vines in the forest for druids to tame.

Natural energy gathers in the vines, and with the help of fairy magic and lightning stimulation, the Creeper Vine is activated. Greed for food will drive the Creeper Vine to become a destroyer of the natural balance.

This Creeper Vine that Attilan tamed seems to be a bit different from ordinary Creeper Vines?

Its body is more slender than ordinary Creeper Vines, and it doesn't have the stench of accumulated rot and tangled vines. Its movement speed is also quite swift.

How did this kid manage to modify the Creeper Vine?

The bear-man narrowed his eyes and carefully observed this unique Creeper Vine.

The Creeper Vine entangled the tiger-man with its vines, while Attilan released Lightning Breath in the sky. The tiger-man, entangled by the Creeper Vine, couldn't dodge the lightning at all. A mixture of numbness and pain intertwined.

The tiger-man tried hard to cut the vines with her hand, but as she cut, she felt the Creeper Vine becoming more and more excited, and the growth rate of the vines was also accelerating.

If this continues, wouldn't she be doomed to lose? She must get rid of this damned Creeper Vine as soon as possible and defeat that even more damned dragon!

“Attilan, what's so great about hiding in the sky? Do you have the guts to come down and fight me!”

Attilan lazily floated around in the air.

“Sorry, being able to fly is really great! Tiger-man, don't just stand there, come up and play together ~ No way, no way, someone can't even do simple flight, and still wants to fight a dragon?”

The mockery in his words was maxed out, and the tiger-man's eyes turned red. The anger in her heart towards the Ocean Dragon for the first time surpassed that of the green dragon who slaughtered her entire family.

An angry roar resounded through the heavens and the earth, and the birds and sparrows ten miles away were startled and hovered in the air.

No matter how angry the tiger-man was, she was entangled by the Creeper Vine, and Lightning Breath and Thunderous Wave were released alternately. Attilan also pretended to be leisurely in the air, constantly stimulating her with words.

In the end, the tiger-man was overwhelmed by anger, spat out a mouthful of blood, and fainted.

A verdant branch broke through the soil and supported the tiger-man. The bear-man stepped forward to release life energy to heal the tiger-man's injuries. The tiger-man was seriously injured, but at least half of the resentment pressing on her chest was released today.

The tiger-man will be able to recover after half a month of recuperation, and after that, practicing qi cultivation will definitely progress by leaps and bounds.

After healing the tiger-man, the bear-man focused his attention on Attilan, who was lying on the ground, already looking like a dead dog.

As a result, the bear-man only restored part of his strength and energy.

“You are a druid, now is a good time for you to practice. The relationship between druids and the domain of life is extraordinary. You should feel it yourself, and the master will not force you to grow.”

Force you to grow? Master, listen to what you are saying? If you don't want to cure me, just say it directly, why bother learning from the martial monks and using idioms incorrectly.

The bear-man was a little embarrassed and rummaged through his body again, throwing Attilan a herbal medicine bag.

“This is for you, it's good to eat and practice.”

After eating the bitter herbal medicine bag, Attilan looked at the Creeper Vine, which was looking at him like a puppy, and endured his exhaustion to give it a Water of Life.

After swallowing the Water of Life, the Creeper Vine turned back into dense vines wrapped around a big tree, slowly absorbing the energy in the Water of Life.

Attilan also lay down under the big tree and began to meditate and absorb natural energy, both healing his injuries and increasing his druidic cultivation.

After two hours, Attilan woke up hungry.

During this time, because of his increasingly large appetite, the forest's food chain has become a bit unstable, and Attilan can no longer go on a killing spree.

Rely on the dragon's stomach's digestive ability to eat soil?

Of course not!

As a noble dragon, Attilan would never allow himself to eat soil. If the tiger-man knew, she would definitely laugh at him for the rest of his life.

Attilan could only drag his hungry stomach slowly into the water, and then start a storm of inhalation!

Eating soil will be laughed at, but drinking water is different. Who can not drink water?

He just drank a little bit more.

When Attilan burped and went ashore, the fishmen who were building the clam field felt that the water level today had dropped a little?

The fishman rubbed his eyes and looked again, and the water level seemed to have not changed.
