The Natural Empire of the Oceanic Dragon

#35 - About writing a paper after traveling through time

Attilan's eyes darted around, locking onto the bored black panther. He had an idea.

No matter how clever the black panther was, or how much shadow energy she controlled, she was still a big cat, and all cats have curiosity.

Attilan's claws emitted a white light, forming a bright spot in front of the black panther. Instinctively, the black panther reached out to grab it.

Attilan moved his claws, keeping the light spot just out of the black panther's reach, further piquing her curiosity.

The black panther stood up; she was starting to get serious.

Chasing the light spot, the black panther gradually disappeared from the forest panther's habitat.

It was only then that the druid, who had transformed into a forest panther and was happily playing with the big cats, finally noticed that her research subject had wandered out of sight!

It was afternoon, the sun was strong, and after absorbing shadow energy, the black panther disliked the intense daylight. She usually hid under the shade of trees, spacing out or sleeping.

But today, she had suddenly disappeared!

Could it be that the shadow energy within the black panther had finally reached the critical point, and she was about to transform into a shadow panther?

If she missed this scene, her research topic would be ruined!

The forest panther druid panicked and rushed to the grass nest where the black panther slept, trying to track the black panther's movements by scent. Then, she saw the black panther chasing a light spot back.

"Hello, Druid sister. I saw you were having fun and didn't want to disturb you. I couldn't resist teasing your big cat. You don't mind, do you?"

Although her fur was standing on end, and she wanted to grab her javelin and stab Attilan to death, the big cat still said with a smile:

"I don't mind. Black Panther is so cute; everyone who sees her can't help but want to tease her. As expected of Master Gai's disciple, you saw through my disguise so quickly."

He hadn't seen through it at all. The other two druids' transformations still had some flaws, which Attilan found after confirming their identities. This big sister was truly flawless, like a natural-born big cat.

As she spoke, the big cat transformed into a female druid with a shapely figure and wheat-colored skin, wearing only animal skins to cover her vital areas and using animal teeth as decorations.

Her face was not delicate, but full of wildness.

Taking out a badge and tossing it to Attilan, she suddenly grabbed an oak javelin from the grass.

Attilan slightly moved his claws, adjusting his posture to launch an attack, calmly watching the female druid.

"The material of your javelin is good, but the craftsman's skill is a bit lacking. The handle isn't well polished, and the center of gravity is off. You have to accommodate the javelin when throwing it, unable to release your power as you wish, right?"

"Also, the obsidian pattern carved on the spearhead is very beautiful, but the spear tip can actually be sharpened more. I think you stopped because you were afraid of breaking it."

"You know so much, why don't you make a spear for me to see."

"I will bring a sample to the assembly in three days. Then, you can open your eyes wide and watch."

After Attilan left, the panther woman realized she had been tricked. She was holding the spear to scare Attilan, but before she could even speak, the other party had shifted the topic.

She gritted her teeth and looked at the sky. If she was not satisfied with the spear Attilan brought, she would stab Attilan twice, even in front of the master!

In the distant sky, Attilan burst into laughter again.

Finally... he had finally collected three tickets to participate in the Druid Assembly! Now, who would still slander him as a weakling behind his back? Who would dare to raise their voice in front of him?

When he confidently slapped the three badge leaves in front of the bear-man, shouting:

"I want to participate in the Druid Assembly in three days!"

"Are you ready?"

Attilan blinked blankly, revealing a clear and utter stupidity.

"Ready for what? Isn't it just that three badge leaves are enough to participate?"

"That's right, but you don't think a group of druids gather together just to drink tea and chat, do you?"

Okay, he had completely forgotten about it, and he hadn't even used the Creeping Vine last time because the Vine Woman's blood-sucking vines were too useful.

"It's good that you remember. The druids participating in the assembly will all present an analysis of their current achievements and expected goals based on their recent cultivation results for everyone to learn and discuss. Do you have a suitable topic?"

Attilan took a deep breath; his head hurt. Why did he have to do academic research and write papers even after he transmigrated!

In fact, the druids' discussions were just small-scale. True academic research still had to look to legendary mages and arcanists.

Regarding the principles of magic involved in the birth process of the Creeping Vine, Attilan still had a half-baked understanding. His sorcerer level was not high because his development and understanding of his own abilities were too shallow.

He was still in the stage of learning how to use it, not yet at the stage of understanding why it produced this effect.

In fact, it was a lack of knowledge analysis.

His inherited memories contained a detailed introduction to the Ocean Dragon's talent abilities, like a book. You can understand every word, but you can't understand them when they are connected.

He couldn't chew on difficult topics for the time being, so he could just change to a simpler topic!

"On the Subtle Influence of Nature Worship on Racial Characteristics."

"Master, what do you think of this topic?"

"Who are you planning to use as the target to advance this research?"

"Naturally, it's the fishmen and minotaurs. I want to see if natural magic can change them into what I expect."

"What do you imagine?"

"Resilient, diligent, brave, indomitable, and the will of man can conquer nature!"

The bear-man understood what Attilan wanted to do just by listening to the beginning.

"You want to use nature to change the chaotic and evil spiritual essence of the minotaurs and fishmen, while guiding them to embark on the path of changing nature? Are you sure they can do it?"

Attilan said firmly:

"Master, perhaps a legendary master can move mountains and seas with a single spell, but if it is replaced by ordinary people, they may not be able to do the same thing."

The bear-man nodded with satisfaction. While other druids were still studying how to change the bodies of life, his disciple had already begun to transform the spiritual will of life!

This topic was far more influential than Attilan imagined.

Attilan did this subconsciously and believed it was a matter of course. An excellent race should possess the above qualities, precisely because he came from such a nation with a long history, advocating resistance and indomitability.

His natural empire can also carry more than fifty races, but all races must learn to possess the above spirit.
