The Rise of the Third Reich

The Third Reich actually had three sources, one in the center of Berlin. Karl Liebknecht and Philipp Scheidemann announced the fall of the Second German Reich together. Now constitutional monarchy was impossible, and the Junker nobles who controlled the German army became a force to maintain the stability of the German state. The newly established republic was actually a country without an army, and no Junker officer would be loyal to it. From now on, the German Army became an independent kingdom, but the army itself did not have the power to rule the country. So they were waiting for a politician like Adolf Hitler who could unite the middle and lower classes of the German people.

The Redao Railway Station in the Compiègne Forest, 60 kilometers north of Paris, was the second source of the Third Reich.

As for the last origin of the Third Reich, it was of course the Palace of Versailles in Paris.

It was November 11, 1918, and an unprecedented great victory was placed before Philippe Foch. The German Empire collapsed and disappeared, and Berlin was occupied by revolutionaries. They elected the Soviets and the People's Committee on the 10th. The socialist party had come to power, and the millions of German troops on the front had lost their allegiance.

It sounds like the Soviet Union...

And the Allied Powers...the "Fourteen Points of Peace" that they agreed to have become a waste of paper. It was just a temporary ceasefire, and the Allied Powers asked the German army to hand over so many weapons and almost the entire fleet! It is conceivable what kind of demands they will make at the subsequent peace conference. By that time, Germany may have been caught in a terrible civil war!

After the February Revolution, the Provisional Government that came to power was forced by the pressure of the Soviet of Workers and Soldiers' Representatives in Petrograd to order the establishment of a soldiers' committee system in all Russian troops, and the soldiers' committees exercised leadership. It was equivalent to depriving officers of their power and causing the Tsarist army to fall apart. The Soviets controlled by the German Social Democratic Party and the Independent Social Democratic Party now issued the opposite order, strengthening rather than weakening the leadership of the Junker Officers Corps over the army.

This was the weak point of the German Bolshevik Party later. Some workers could not resist the veterans who came down from the battlefields of World War I.
