The Sage of Confucianism and Taoism
Chapter 3014: Impurities in the Literature
Happy New Year!
I wish you all a happy Year of the Pig, and good luck in everything!
Actually, I want to say a lot, but thousands of words can be summed up in one sentence. I hope every reader is safe, healthy, and happy forever. These are more important than anything else!
What did I say last year?
Let me think about it. It seems that I said the most important book this year? Am I right? Haha.
Last year, I said that I would post a book I wanted to read in 2018, not online, not textbooks, and not entertainment. Now it is 2019. Looking back, have you finished reading that book?
If you haven't finished it, which book did you read most in 2018? You can post it in the comments of this chapter.
For me, the most important book in 2018 is "Xiao Qiang's Promotion Story", which allowed me to learn time management. I basically recommend this book to everyone I meet this year, and I bought a lot of it to give to relatives and friends.
If everyone wants to better control their time, make their lives organized, and become self-disciplined, reading time management books and taking action is the most effective method I know at present.
I strongly recommend everyone to read this book, whether you are a student or a working reader, as long as you feel that you have difficulty controlling time, your life is not clear and organized, and you want to become better, you should read this book, and then look for other time management books to fully understand time management.
It is estimated that many people should be using various time management methods, such as the tomato alarm clock, the four quadrants, and so on, but there should be only one in ten thousand who can really use it well. Now I can only say that I have learned it initially, not even mastered it.
Which book do you want to read in 2019?
My theme reading year in 2019 is mythology. This year I mainly read various mythology books. Because it is related to the content of the new book, I won’t say what specific book.
I want to think about which non-mythology book I want to read more. "Poor Charlie's Almanack" is a masterpiece by Buffett's partner Charlie Munger. In fact, I have read a lot of things in it in bits and pieces, because many people and many books have mentioned it, but I have never read this book. The main reason is that I am building my own knowledge system and I am afraid that his things will have too much influence on me and make my own things look weird. There is also "Principles" by the big boss of Bridgewater Fund. I bought two books but never read them. I hope to finish reading them this year!
Finally,
I have made many mistakes in the past and will continue to make mistakes in the future, but I will try to make fewer mistakes and do more right things.
Let's work hard together! Come on!
