The Supreme Level Up System
8 Persistence
In the end, Aion confirmed that Heal could alleviate some of his muscle pain. Most of that was caused because of damaged and overworked muscles, so it made sense. Thanks to that, he managed to train for a while longer. After the first week, he could run for two hours and continue after breakfast. Naturally, he was putting a lot of strain on his muscles, but he could feel them getting stronger as well.
The Monk class has reached level ten.
The skill Wolf Fang can now be used.
Wolf Fang: A sequence of powerful strikes that hit the enemy's head from above and below.
Cost: 05 stamina.
"Well, it seems more skills can be learned once the classes reach certain levels…" Aion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Regardless, it is getting hard again to level up the classes."
Considering that he was only doing basic training, it wasn't that surprising for Aion. His impatience was getting the better of him. Still, he learned a lot thanks to the books of the house, including that in such a world, monsters existed alongside dungeons.
Their existence was weird since dungeons appeared naturally and in areas with high concentrations of mana. Monsters were lured to those places, and they were fed by the dungeon core's mana, and with that, they could reproduce insanely fast. Unless they are dealt with fast, any dungeon could create an army of monsters in a matter of days.
What was even weirder was the fact that their apparitions were good for the economy of the world since many of the monsters could be used for their meat, hide, bones, and other body parts.
Regardless, eventually, Aion was able to jog the entire morning, and the muscle pains weren't that hard to deal with. Still, even though he did that for six months, his father told him to keep doing that… he only changed his training equipment for something a bit heavier and also told him to wear a simple helmet and small chainmail.
At least Aion reached the level of his half-brothers when it came to gear. That being said, for someone of his height and age, adding all that many things to carry during training sure pushed him to the limits. Aion wondered if he should increase his strength since Monk was leveling up faster again, but that would slow down the training and level up speed… in the end, he only sharpened his resolve and endured all that.
"Aion, let me heal you," Artemisia said when Aion returned from the training.
"Thank you, mama," Aion said while forcing a tired smile.
"I never understood why boys are so dead set on becoming stronger physically. Using magic can make anyone stronger, and you don't have to damage your body like this…" Artemisia said while looking at the callus on her son's feet.
That was the thinking of the sole heir of a magic kingdom. Still, while Aion wouldn't abandon any method to make himself stronger, that kind of training really makes one mind and body stronger. There is that saying: one drop of sweat dropped in training is one less drop of blood lost in battle… Aion's father disappeared for a few days while the kids trained by themselves, and he assumed that he had gone to fight. That happened at least twice a month, so Aion knew that things weren't all that pacific in the kingdom.
" In real life, you can fight two ways: fight fair or fight to win. I will do my best to be a winner and use everything at my disposal for that," Aion thought.
Artemisia's magic made Aion feel pretty relaxed, so it didn't take long for him to fall asleep. That same thing happened many times after training. Eventually, Aion realized that despite the harshness of the training, he still was growing normally. He had never watched them all that much before, but his half-brothers also trained hard every day, and they were growing normally.
"I wonder if it is because of that stuff about evolution and transformation…" Aion wondered.
Aion wondered if he should test that somehow, but using his own young body seemed like a bad idea… he couldn't use others either. So, that was a thought that he decided to leave for later.
Regardless, around the time Aion was four, his father ran out of gear for him to carry while running. While he tried to hide that as much as possible, he looked a bit troubled by the fact that Aion never complained and was that hardworking. Even his oldest kids complained sometimes, but they stopped doing that when they saw someone younger enduring the same training that they complained of doing so many times.
Aion felt that he had completed the basic training too early, perhaps one or two years sooner than his father expected. He confirmed that when one week passed and the training didn't change. He was probably thinking that perhaps it was too soon for Aion to learn combat techniques.
Aion disagreed with that, so he decided to practice in his room the moves that he saw his half brothers doing. The stances as well. How to parry, block, how to dodge to the side, roll and then counter-attack… It wasn't hard to copy, but it was hard to say if he was truly making progress without sparring.
"Well, at least Paladin class is leveling up," Aion thought.
The Paladin class has reached level ten.

After thinking for those four years, Aion assumed that he should level the classes equally. However, he should have at least three preferential classes and get used to them in order for those to be his safety when something unexpected happens. Paladin was probably the one who granted him the most defensive power, and since he was training with that kind of similar gear every day, it goes without saying that it will be one of the main ones.
"The real issue is the others… mana will determine for how long I can fight… So maybe, I should pick the archer class," Aion thought. "As for the final one, I should pick Ninja or Slayer for movement speed."
The good thing about Ninja class was the fact that the shuriken always returned. Meanwhile, the Slayer class had Dash, even though the weapon was a short knife… That kind of weapon didn't suit Aion. So, he had a time choosing between them, but in the end…
