The Trinity of Harry Potter
Chapter 116 The truth broadcast
Kano waved the document on the unlimited right of self-defense obtained after the school board negotiated with the Ministry of Magic, leaving Fudge in disgrace at the negotiation table.
If Sirius is really caught, Fudge will charge Cano with assisting in an escape no matter what.
But now that the criminal has not been caught, the gangsters who were recruited sneaked into the village, were pushed to the ground and beaten, and finally tied under an old tree at the head of the village for the Ministry of Magic to collect.
Fudge's face was completely lost. During the meeting alone, there were more than ten owls sent by parents who got the news to look for him.
Each owl held a bright red howling letter on its feet, and Dumbledore's thoughtful spell made them temporarily quiet.
After the meeting ended and Dumbledore, Carnot and the school directors left, a dozen shouting letters with different accents came out in unison, as if a group of professional scolds were greeting Fudge's eight generations of ancestors.
"I heard my mother's voice." Ron walked into the common room, his face red with excitement, "I love scolding the Minister of Magic."
"Oh, the twins and Harry are both here, she will never accept it if something happens." Hermione nodded understandingly.
Harry was wrapped in a blanket and sitting by the fireplace to warm himself, holding hot tea in his hands and couldn't help but smile.
Ginny blushed slightly and sat next to Harry, quietly handing him a piece of chocolate.
"Professor Lupine said this would help last time."
"Thank you, Ginny." Harry took the chocolate and nodded his thanks.
Ginny's face turned redder, but luckily it wasn't that obvious against the flames of the fireplace.
Kano walked into the common room with a comfortable expression on his face, and the Gryffindors, who were worried about the world being in chaos, cheered to welcome him.
"What kind of spell is that, Kano?"
"Dementors turn out not to be that scary."
"Are those tree people your physical guardian angels?"
The students asked questions one after another, and Kano blocked their mouths after taking out the gifts he brought back from Ireland.
Harry waved and Cano also sat by the fireplace.
"Long time no see." Harry greeted weakly.
"It's only two weeks." Kano patted Harry on the shoulder.
"Maybe it's because too many things happened." Hermione interjected, "On Halloween, Harry and Sirius had a face-to-face meeting. Just after you came back, you caught up with the dementors entering the stadium."
Ron cleared his throat: "Ginny, brothers and sisters have something to talk about."
Ginny glared at the youngest brother and left angrily.
"Isn't this not good?" Harry looked at Ginny's back with some embarrassment, after all, he was still chewing the chocolate she gave him just now.
"You don't want to talk about Sirius in front of her, do you?" Hermione also supported Ron, "It's better not to talk about this kind of thing in front of children, so as not to scare her."
Kano looked at the three of them funny. It was hard to calculate his own age, but Ginny was actually only one year younger than the three of them.
Is this concern from my future sister-in-law?
However, they have experienced so many things and are indeed more mature psychologically.
Harry recounted the meeting with Sirius that night in detail, and in the end almost grabbed Kano by the collar and forced him to ask him the truth about what happened that year.
Seeing that the fire was almost done, Kano explained the situation to them smoothly.
"Let's start with the Loyalty Curse." Kano said, "This curse can hide a residence or a secret. Unless the keeper of the secret is willing to leak the information, even the Cruciatus Curse and the Imperius Curse cannot pry his mouth open."
"Of course, if the Keeper dies, everyone who knows the secret will become the new Keeper."
"My parents..." Harry pointed to himself, and Kano nodded in confirmation.
"Yes, many people know your home's address, so it must be protected with the Loyalty Charm."
"Originally everyone thought that your family's secret keeper of the Fidelity Loyalty Curse was Sirius, and he was afraid that your parents would be exposed if he was killed, so he proposed to let Peter become the secret keeper in secret."
Harry smiled bitterly: "A... typical predatory prank."
Kano looked at him in surprise. Harry had indeed found out a lot about what happened back then.
"And Peter Pettigrew was the traitor. He betrayed my parents that night and caused their deaths."
"Yes, after Sirius knew the truth, he went straight to seek revenge. In the end, he was imprisoned in Azkaban as a murderer for twelve years. This was his atonement." Kano added.
"Then why did he escape from prison again?" Ron asked strangely.
Kano took out a mouse cage and handed it to Ron: "Don't ask anything, just go to the dormitory and put your Banban in it."
Ron complied with confusion, and when he came back, Cano told them that the mouse was Peter.
All kinds of evidence made the three of them believe it.
"Look, I said Crookshanks is a good cat!" Hermione said excitedly, "He must have discovered something!"
Ron was disgusted by the fact that he was sleeping with a murderer and waved his hand as an apology.
Harry's eyes were red, and he stood up and was about to strangle Peter to death.
"Wait a minute, I have a plan that can clear Sirius's reputation and ruin Peter's reputation." Kano quickly stopped them.
You can also hug the grass and hit rabbits, which makes Fudge disgusting.
"Why didn't you tell us the truth earlier?" Ron asked puzzledly.
"We won't believe it. To be honest, if I hadn't seen Sirius's reaction that night, I would have been half-convinced." Harry said as he rubbed his cheek.
"I want to meet Sirius." Harry looked at Kano seriously, his green eyes extremely determined under the reflection of the flames in the fireplace.
"You've been staring at him, haven't you?"
Kano smiled and spread his hands, admitting it.
"Next Hogsmeade week, just put on the invisibility cloak."
If Sirius and Harry hadn't met in advance, things wouldn't have gone so smoothly. But now that the matter has come to this, there's no need for Kano to stop it.
"Then what should I do?" Ron had a look of disgust on his face, "I usually put him on the pillow, what will I do to him in the future? God, it's really disgusting."
Kano wanted to say that it was not normal to sleep with a pet rat on the pillow.
"I'll keep feeding him the potion I left for you, and keep him in a cage all the time." Kano instructed, "That cage won't be able to break even if he changes back to his original shape. You just need to cooperate with me in performing the rest."
Hermione suddenly understood something and ran back to the girls' dormitory. When she reappeared, she had a stack of "Daily Prophet" under her arm.
"What's the matter with these flattering articles that smell like copper between the lines? They're all your handiwork, right?"
Kano avoided Hermione's questioning gaze, raised his head and played a small tune.
"Forget it, Hermione Cano won't cheat his uncle." Harry said quickly.
Kano smiled guiltily.
