The Trinity of Harry Potter

Chapter 130 Old House Adventure

This semester ended peacefully. The Defense Against the Dark Arts professor resigned again, but this time he received applause from all the teachers and students.

According to the plan, Kano came to wait for Fleur outside the Magic Department after the holiday.

"Dear, long time no see!"

Fleur walked out of the registration office of the Ministry of Magic and gave Kano a hug.

"It hasn't been that long, right? I often go to see you during Hogsmeade week." Kano smiled and hugged his girlfriend.

"That was last month, isn't it long enough?" Fleur let go of Kano and turned to Sirius, "You are Kano's uncle Sirius, right? I am his girlfriend, Fleur Delacour.

.”

"Hello, I often hear Kano mention you." Sirius nodded as a greeting, "But since he asked you to clean the old house, I think the day when you two get engaged is not far away."

Fleur's face turned slightly red, but she still held Kano's arm and nodded.

Grimmauld Place is only 20 minutes' walk from King's Cross Station. It is a luxurious section along the regular "Metro" line.

The old Black house is located at No. 12 Grimmauld Place. After Kano's grandfather, Orion Black, got the house, he applied all the known protective magic to it. Now it has been used by everyone except Kano.

No one is visible.

But Kano has not yet obtained the magic deed to the house, and the late Mrs. Black can still restrict Kreacher's movements in this house.

"They did a really thorough job." Sirius sneered, "I can't see this house after I'm removed from the list."

"It doesn't matter, I'll just give you permission." Kano pulled out a small piece of parchment and used his wand to burn out "No. 12 Grimmauld Place," which was burnt black.

After Fleur and Sirius read the note, the house squeezed away Nos. 11 and 13 on both sides and appeared from the void.

The three of them walked up the grand stone steps, and Kano tapped the faded gilded railings next to them with his wand, making them shine again.

There is no keyhole on the heavy black door, only a silver snake-shaped door knocker.

"This taste is really..." Kano curled his lips, "Even if it is changed to the family crest."

Sirius shrugged disapprovingly: "What's the use of a nest of Slytherins if they don't need snakes?"

He pulled out his wand and lit it on the door. There was a creaking sound inside, like the sound of gears and chains turning that had not been oiled for many years.

Kano opened the door and walked in front, Fleur also took out her wand to illuminate him, and Sirius walked at the end with a carefree look.

The porch is dark and long, with a few gas lamps hanging next to it. One of the passageways is covered by two velvet curtains. Everything here is decayed and broken, like the breath of a dying person with the smell of decay.

"Kreacher is exaggerating. You don't need to be too careful. I have lived here for more than ten years and I can do it with my eyes closed..."

"What a shame! I gave birth to a prodigal son! How dare you come back!"

The velvet curtain suddenly opened, and a life-size portrait hung behind it. The old lady in the painting screamed and waved her hands, as if she wanted to jump out and scratch someone to death.

This is Walburga Black, the biological mother of Sirius and Regulus.

The other Black family portraits in the corridor were also awakened and screamed together.

Fleur was startled and raised her wand immediately, but when she saw that neither Kano nor Sirius had any reaction, she put the wand down out of curiosity.

"Yes, mother, I'm back. Do you see who this is?" Sirius waved his wand to silence the other portraits, then lit the row of kerosene lamps, and Carnot's face appeared from the darkness.

"Oh, my heart is back! Regulus, mother knew you wouldn't leave me to die first!" The old lady rolled down from the chair and stretched out her hand as if to touch Kano's face.

.

"Grandma, I am the son of Regulus. My father has been dead for many years." Kano said simply.

Walburga howled and lay on the ground crying loudly.

Kreacher told Kano that Walburga's mental state was already unstable before his death, and he would often burst into tears suddenly.

She never believed that her excellent son Regulus died like this, with his eyes still open when he died.

The old lady couldn't stop for a while, so the three of them walked towards the basement.

Here is the kitchen and small dining room. After Kreacher got back on his feet, he cleaned this place cleanly and now it is waiting for them here.

"You are quite diligent." Sirius sat down on the high-backed chair and put his legs directly on the table. Kreacher looked at him with disgust and tried his best to treat him as nothing.

"Young Master, Kreacher has been restricted by his mistress, so he can only do this." Kreacher, wearing a clean white towel, bowed to Kano, who shook his head and said he didn't care.

"Sit down, dear, let's take a look at the layout of this place." Kano pulled a chair to Fleur, and Kreacher spread the topographic map he drew on the table.

The first floor is the foyer and formal dining room, and the second floor is a large living room facing the street and several guest rooms. The third to fifth floors are bedrooms, and the three master bedrooms on the top floor belong to the old Black couple, Regulus and Sirius respectively.

.

"Most of the dark magic items are on the second floor. In order to protect...that thing, the young master also put a lot of gadgets inside." Kreacher said hesitantly.

Kreacher spent a long time trying to destroy the Horcrux, but ultimately failed. After Walburga died, he couldn't even touch the locket due to the limitations of his range of activities.

Otherwise, in the original book, why was it necessary to secretly pick up the locket thrown away by Sirius? It was wrapped directly in his tattered blanket, and Sirius couldn't even open it.

The three of them walked out of the basement together and started sweeping the first floor.

The wallpaper here has peeled off, exposing the moldy wall behind.

The cabinets in the dining room were dusty, and Hu Meizi could be heard squeaking inside.

The teeth of this thing are poisonous, so I'll have to buy some pesticide later and "soak" the whole house.

However, they were not the target of this round of cleaning. The three wizards successfully subdued a cupboard that ejected forks, a silver plate that screamed loudly when it saw people, and two activated candlesticks that wanted to knock people on the head.

At this time, the crying outside subsided. The three of them looked at each other and came to Walburga's portrait again.

"Good boy, what's your name?"

Walburga seemed to be calmer and looked at Kano while sobbing.

"Canopus Black."

"Is your mother a pureblood?"

Sirius' eyes rolled directly up to the ceiling, looking at the crumbling pieces of wallpaper.

"Yes, my mother is from the Weasley family."

Walburga opened his eyes wide in disbelief, but finally sighed.

"That's okay, do you have children?"

Fleur walked out from behind Kano and bowed to the portrait nervously: "I am Fleur Delacour, a Frenchman and Kano's girlfriend."

"French? The French are good." Walburga looked at Fleur with satisfaction, "Our Black family is a noble from France, and our family mottos are all written in French."

"Wait, are you a pureblood?"
