The Trinity of Harry Potter

Chapter 12 Sorting Ceremony

The Sorting Hat sang a song about the four houses and introduced their core concepts.

Kano, who already knew this, was staring up at the magic ceiling. He was thinking whether some magic rituals that needed to be performed in the wild could be performed under this ceiling.

"Hannah Abbott!"

Professor McGonagall picked up the long parchment scroll and read out the first name.

The little girl ran forward and put the tattered sorting hat on her head, looking a little nervous.

The Sorting Hat covered her eyes, and after a moment she shouted through the wide slit in the hat.

"Hufflepuff!"

Kano heard Harry and Ron next to him heaving a sigh of relief. They seemed to be glad that they no longer had to fight the fire dragon.

"Canopus Black!"

Children whose parents were either wizards craned their necks to look at Kano.

Many faculty members frowned because this child really looked like Sirius.

Kanoruo walked forward unconsciously and put the sorting hat on his head, his eyes were also covered by the brim of the hat.

"Oh, I haven't seen you for so many years, what a traditional druid."

The Sorting Hat's emotion echoed in Kano's heart, and Kano also responded in his heart.

"Do you need to see my memory?"

"if you are willing to."

Kano has never been afraid of spells such as Legilimency, because as a traditional druid, he pays more attention to the training of the spiritual field than modern wizards.

There was only a flat lake in his mind, and all his thoughts were underwater.

Kano's mind moved, and all his experiences except his past life memories came to mind. He felt the power of the Sorting Hat gently sweep over him, and then he regained his composure.

"It's very hard, kid, it's very hard."

"You have the enthusiasm and courage to come to the mortal world to participate in the wave of the times. Gryffindor will like you. You have a tenacious will and have been training as a knight for ten years. Hufflepuff will be proud of you. Yours

The bloodline is purer than most people and fully meets the requirements of Slytherin."

Kano asked strangely: "Can't Ravenclaw?"

"Actually, it's okay, but your attitude towards knowledge is more towards preservation and inheritance rather than obsession. Compared to the other three colleges, I don't recommend you to go to Ravenclaw."

Kano nodded understandingly, and the Sorting Hat pondered again.

There was some commotion among the little wizards below, and the Slytherins were paying attention with expressions of anticipation and disgust. Gryffindors had mixed emotions, and many thought of the rebellious Sirius.

Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, one is indifferent, the other is calm, but they don't care that much.

"I think which college we go to doesn't determine who we will be in the future, does it?"

Kano in turn comforted the Sorting Hat: "Don't be nervous, you are the authority of the Sorting Hat."

"You kid, why am I so nervous? Gryffindor!"

The last house was shouted out by the Sorting Hat. The Gryffindor table was silent for a moment, and then applauded enthusiastically.

The Slytherin students booed, and Kano raised the brim of his hat slightly, scanning the table from top to bottom with his calm eyes.

This kind of gaze does not contain any threat or coercion, it is just a kind of indifference that looks at you but does not take you seriously.

The person who booed was caught by the gaze, as if he was being strangled by the neck and did not dare to speak. The other three houses burst into laughter, and the Gryffindor students cheered so loudly that they almost jumped on the table.

"Thank you, sir. I didn't expect Slytherin students to be so bad now."

Carnot took off the sorting hat and dusted it.

The Sorting Hat also curled his lips helplessly: "There are a few leaders, and the atmosphere has become so bad."

Perhaps since Voldemort recruited people to become Death Eaters in the school, Slytherin's atmosphere has gone bad.

Kano walked to the Gryffindor table and sat down. A moment later, Neville, Harry and Ron all came to Gryffindor.

Their faces were radiant, and Neville looked around happily while saying that maybe there was a mistake.

Dumbledore stood up, and the lively auditorium immediately fell silent. Everyone looked at the great white wizard with reverence.

Kano looked at his gray-white robe and felt inexplicably relieved.

"Welcome everyone to Hogwarts to start the new school year! Before the banquet begins, I would like to say a few words."

Kano felt that this scene was strangely familiar.

"Idiot, cry, scum, screw it!"

"thank you all!"

Dumbledore finished his opening speech quickly, and Carnot applauded sincerely, finally no longer having to listen to a long speech.

A large amount of hot food appeared on the table, including roast beef, roast chicken, pork chops, lamb chops, sausages, steaks, boiled potatoes, baked potatoes, potato chips...

Kano's fork stopped in mid-air. Why was it all grilled meat and potatoes? This dish was too hard.

The ghosts from various colleges also entered the scene, and Kano quickly forked a large piece of beef to avoid being talked to by the ghosts and delaying his meal.

Thanks to the druidic tradition, Kano has no taboos on eating.

When Kano was almost half full, the dishes on the table suddenly changed to various desserts.

Various flavors of ice cream, exquisite baked snacks, syrup fruit pies, etc. After Kano took two bites, he immediately realized that British food was simply a mistake in the skill tree.

Desserts and snacks are so delicious, why can’t they compete with potatoes and meat as staple food?

After seven points of eating, Kano put down his knife and fork. The children around him were still stuffing desserts into their mouths desperately. Kano always felt that Hogwarts had turned into a pig farm at this moment.

Ron put half of the apple pudding in his mouth into his mouth, chewing it while reaching for another.

However, the next second the plates on the table became empty, and the entrance dinner was over.

Dumbledore stood up again. If you ignore the slight hiccups, the auditorium became quiet again.

"Now that everyone has eaten and drank enough, let me tell you some precautions."

"First-year students, please note that no students are allowed to enter the woods in the school. Some senior students should also remember this."

Kano paid no attention to these words, and most of his ceremonies were either by water or in woodlands.

At least he usually reviews druid poetry in the wild. Just listen to this advice, because he will never be harmed by the woods themselves.

"Finally, I must tell everyone that anyone who does not want to encounter an accident and die in pain should not enter the corridor on the right side of the fourth floor."

This is a trap set by Dumbledore for Voldemort. The main purpose is to train Harry as the savior.

Kano didn't want to steal Harry's novice tutorial, but if he faced off against Voldemort for real in the future, he would definitely participate.

But the main goal for this year is...

Eat more, sleep more, exercise more, study hard and your magic will be strong.
