The Trinity of Harry Potter

Chapter 18: All Things in Hell

What exactly is hell? This is a question whose answer is constantly changing.

In traditional Celtic culture, there are only two parts, the fairy land and the mortal world. One part of the fairy land is biased toward darkness and death, a lightless world, while the other part is full of light, with never-ending banquets and hunting activities.

When Christianity was introduced to Western Europe, the Fairyland was artificially divided into two parts, namely "Heaven" and "Hell", and the Celtic world became three parts.

"But there is no clear distinction between heaven and hell, we just forcibly named them."

Merlin's wand touched the ground, and a complex worldview model appeared on the ground.

"To make it easier for you to understand, we call those worlds of darkness and death hell."

"So, why did Sister Morgan say that if you go to hell, you can't come back?"

Merlin shook his head: "Because there is no light in hell, and all the souls are blindly attacking each other."

"Generally, the souls trapped in hell are those who have committed many crimes, or are cruel and easy to kill. After they are defeated several times in the soul state, their resentment will be cleared and they can be reincarnated again."

"And powerful knights or druids will stay in the Fairy Country after death and never reincarnate. Once they fall into hell, they will fight forever and never find a way out."

"You, the reborn person, and Mordred both have powerful souls. So once you go to hell to look for Mordred, you will also fall into it."

Kano seems to have grasped the key to the matter: "If I go to hell to find Mordred, I will fall into it."

"Then can I ask him to come to me?"

Merlin nodded: "Yes, we can use some method to get Mordred to come out of hell and fight with you."

"But what exactly do I do?"

Facing Kano's question, Merlin took out a small bottle containing a drop of bright red blood.

"This is King Arthur's blood. Now put it on your sword."

Kano summoned his oak sword and followed his instructions and smeared Arthur's blood on the sword's spine. The blood was immediately absorbed by the oak sword, imprinting dark red light patterns on the sword.

"What you have to do is to travel to various secret realms and use this sword to defeat the resentments left by famous warriors." Merlin made a closing gesture, "Those resentments will be concentrated on your sword."

"So, when I hold a sword soaked in the blood of King Arthur and full of resentment, Mordred will appear in front of me?"

Kano knew that Mordred's sword was the Sword of Clarent, which was also made by the Lady of the Lake.

During the Battle of the Sword Parade, Mordred fatally wounded King Arthur with the Sword of Clarent. That sword was soaked in King Arthur's blood.

In the end, the sword was left at the place where he died, and now it is unknown where it is lost.

"Maybe... I can only say maybe." Merlin touched his long beard, "Mordred, who is left with only instinct, will frantically pursue his weapon and snatch the sword."

"Because it is not only his weapon, but also proof that he is the heir to the country. He will not turn a blind eye because of his deep obsession."

Kano nodded and understood Merlin's plan. He tasted the product and said: "Just like the game, first fight the little monsters to level up, and finally fight Mordred?"

Merlin was stunned for a moment and nodded: "It's somewhat similar to chess."

Kano was actually talking about the miscellaneous soldiers and level bosses in video games. Of course, Merlin didn't understand.

As for where there are crazy warrior resentments, that's not a problem.

There have been too many tragic battles in this land, not to mention the knightly competitions in King Arthur's era, the battles between Ulster and Connaught, and the strife and battles within the Fiona Knights. There was no time when the fields were not littered with corpses.

, bleeding and drifting.

Even though their souls have entered the Fairy Country, the resentments from the battle are still left on the battlefield.

"I suggest you start traveling again during next year's vacation. After all, druid is your true calling." Merlin did not forget to remind Kano of his roots.

"Then can I use magic to fight against Mordred or the resentment of the warriors?"

"A powerful knight can deflect the spell directly. When an ordinary wizard chants a spell, knights of the same level may rush in front of you."

"But your situation is rather special. You can omit the spell and directly mobilize the plants. This will give your knight some advantages in battle." Merlin smiled and touched his beard.

"And Mordred's situation is even more special. According to your growth rate, you will know the reason probably next year."

Kano nodded. It seemed that he could only use plants, guns and swords to reason with them.

"Can it be said that wizards are not as good as knights?"

"Of course not. When the wizard is protected in the center of the military formation, he can release spells as much as he wants. This is how we can maximize our abilities."

"And wizards also have more diverse abilities than knights. Knights are pure killing machines."

"Of course, when you reach Dumbledore's level, it doesn't matter whether you are a knight or a wizard."

Merlin was quite satisfied with Kano's growth rate. The master and apprentice chatted for a long time under the moonlight. It was not until the moon was high in the sky that the effect of the ceremony was about to disappear, and the two said goodbye to each other.

"Teacher, tell me, after I defeat Mordred, can I bring him back to Fairyland?"

Merlin shook his head solemnly: "I don't know either. Morgan and I found out the information today. She was also injured because of it, so I came to see you today."

Kano secretly made up his mind to find a way to bring Mordred out of hell.

As for Mordred's own opinion, it doesn't matter. He has been in hell for more than a thousand years, and he should let go of any grudges he has.

Even Merlin and Morgan have reconciled, what else is impossible?

In the hammock made of oak branches, Carnot suddenly woke up. His soul returned from the gap between the two worlds, and his body was covered with the dew of the night.

The oak robe on his body became dry instantly. Kano put on his school robe and stood up, while the hammock under him also retracted into the tree.

The school door opened quietly, and Kano knew that this was the door left for him by Dumbledore.

When he returned to the Gryffindor common room, everyone was continuing the Halloween carnival, and Harry, Ron and Hermione were speechless.

"Kano, you don't know what just happened!" Harry stood up excitedly, and Ron interrupted.

"Miss Granger, who obeys school rules the most, actually lied to the professor in order to protect us."

Of course Kano knew what happened. The three children worked together to knock out the troll, refreshed their impressions of each other, and established an unbreakable friendship.

They eagerly shared the story with Kano, and then curiously asked him where he had been.

"I just took advantage of Halloween to go out for a walk. This holiday has special meaning to me."

After simply dismissing the children, Kano began to think about where he should travel during the holidays while lying on the bed.

To Lancelot's Happy Castle? The old site of the Tourney of Camelot? Or the place where Cu Chulainn's Six Circles massacred?

It seems a bit too radical. If they directly encounter Lancelot, the humiliating Lanmarok or Cu Chulainn in a mad state, three Kano tied together will not be enough for them to kill.

When the time comes, let’s find some ancient battlefields to practice with, Kano thought, and slowly fell into sleep.
