The Trinity of Harry Potter

Chapter 2 The Stone of Destiny

"This is Avalon, one of the many connecting points between the mortal world and the Fairyland."

Merlin withdrew his wand and blinked at Kano.

"Of course, it's also the most famous one."

"Why do we come here to pay homage to King Arthur?"

"Although you can also see him, he is still sleeping." Morgan's expression was not very good, "Since you want to leave the Fairy Country, you need a 'destiny'."

Kano is a little confused. The so-called "destiny" is the trajectory arranged by God for a person or event. No matter how much people resist, they will eventually take that path.

These destiny are often expressed in the form of prophecies, such as the predictions of Cu Chulainn's death by the goddess of death Morrigan and the Archdruid Kesbah, or the predictions of the outcome of the war between Connacht and Ulster by the prophet Phediluma.

.

These prophecies have all come true one by one, but what does this have to do with leaving the Fairyland?

Merlin saw his doubts and explained gently: "Now the mortal world and the Fairyland have been separated for a long time. If you want to leave here, you need to establish a solid connection with the mortal world."

"For example, your destiny is to destroy Voldemort and avenge your parents. Before you complete your destiny, you will stay in the mortal world. After you complete it, you can come back at any time."

"Can you choose your destiny?"

"Of course not." Morgan shook his head, "You are a reborn person. Even Merlin and I cannot see your destiny."

"Why are you here?"

A rich voice sounded, and a fully armed knight on a white horse came out of the fog.

When he got closer, he jumped off his horse and gave a knight's salute to the three of them. He opened his mask, revealing the face of a handsome middle-aged man.

"Brother Gawain! Why are you staying here?"

"I am the king's knight, and of course I have to guard his chamber. Brother Kano, have you finally made up your mind to become a real knight? I have long prepared the ceremonial sword used to canonize you."

Gawain happily squeezed Canopus' shoulder with his big iron-gloved hand, as if he had already seen the scene where the ceremonial sword was placed on his shoulder to take the oath.

Kano was pinched so much that it hurt, but he didn't say anything.

Gawain was the teacher of the seven knightly arts in Carnot. He usually beat him with a stick until he ran around on the ground more than once or twice. The pain was nothing.

"Don't dream, nephew, he will be a noble druid in the future."

"Haha, aunt, I don't know if he can be stronger than Lancelot in the future, but he can at least rival Tristan. Why do you want to be a druid and learn your viciousness?"

Gawain and his aunt Morgan would quarrel when they met, but they were much more restrained than when they were alive.

"Stop arguing now, we are here to see the Stone of Destiny today."

Merlin stopped the conflict between the two, Morgan rolled his eyes and said nothing, while Gawain opened his eyes wide.

"Are you sure?"

Merlin nodded wordlessly, while Kano was confused.

Everyone fell silent for the rest of the journey. They bypassed King Arthur's chamber and headed straight to the hillside behind.

There is a towering cylindrical boulder on a hillside, surrounded by circles of large rocks.

The function of Stonehenge is to heal wounds. The injured soldiers are in the center, and the Druid's spells can restore combat effectiveness faster.

The Stonehenge here serves to enhance the function of the cylindrical boulder in the middle.

"We can only send you here."

Merlin spoke.

"I wonder if Merlin and Morgan have explained it to you." Gawain said seriously, "That stone has the power to decide fate."

"When you touch it, your destiny will appear. It cannot be escaped. If you fail, you will fall into hell forever and never be able to return to Fairyland."

"Have you considered?"

Kano scratched his head and smiled at him.

"Well, I've thought about it. My determination to touch that stone is as firm as the day I want to knock you over, brother Gawain."

Gawain was stunned for a moment, then burst out laughing. He put down his visor, got on his horse, walked around Kano, turned around and ran into the mist.

"I'm waiting for you to come back and challenge me."

"Ah, I will definitely do it."

Kano walked alone through the boulders and gradually approached the Stone of Destiny standing in the middle.

He could feel the strong call and involuntarily put his hand on the surface of the Stone of Destiny.

A huge scream sounded immediately, repeated three times and then fell silent.

reborn son,

The road ahead is difficult,

You should know.

Twisted life casts a shadow,

The rebellious prince drew his sword and faced each other.

Relatives and friends are in danger,

The life of a true lover is at stake.

You should remember,

increase wisdom,

wave the wand,

strengthen muscles and bones,

Polish the edge.

I am the stone of destiny,

I never lie.

Morgan's face turned pale, and he ran towards Kano regardless, but was blocked by an invisible barrier.

She took out her wand angrily, and colorful spells flew out from the tip of the wand one after another. However, these destructive spells were blocked by the barrier and did not stir up any waves.

Kano knew that twisted life refers to Voldemort, who made a large number of Horcruxes and was neither alive nor dead.

But is the rebellious prince Mordred?

He didn't enter the Fairy Country? Obviously, as long as the powerful knights and druids who died would come here, why wasn't he there?

When Kano walked to Morgan's side, the barrier disappeared naturally. Morgan picked up Kano without any manners and carried it on his shoulders.

"It's useless, Morgan, destiny cannot be violated, you know it better than anyone else."

Merlin stepped forward slowly, but Morgan just shook his head.

"I don't recognize this destiny! Why should Kano fight against my son?"

Kano, who was being carried on his shoulders, asked confusedly: "Isn't Mordred the son of your eldest sister Morgause and Arthur? How could he be your son?"

"Look, he doesn't understand anything yet. This is too much for him!"

Morgan just yelled at Merlin without paying any attention to Kano.

"I don't recognize destiny. Let me see who can take him away from me!"

Then, under Merlin's helpless gaze, Morgan angrily pulled out his wand, pointed it at the ground, and disappeared in front of him with Kano.

Merlin continued to move towards the Stone of Destiny until he stood in front of it.

He raised his hand, and there was an invisible barrier between the stone and his hand, but he didn't care.

"Destiny, I know you have always been so cruel."

"You asked me to assist three generations of kings, but at the last moment you brought me back to Fairyland, letting me watch Arthur's round table collapse and the country be destroyed."

Turbid tears fell from Merlin's eyes and flowed into his long gray beard.

"But please give Canopus a good life."

"Because he may be the last druid in the world."
