The Trinity of Harry Potter

Chapter 50 Opening Dinner

Taking the Hogwarts Express for the second time to start school, Kano started yawning as soon as he got on the train.

As a Horcrux, the diary is really weird. The diary that was tightly sealed last night seemed to have discovered its situation and spent the whole night jumping around in the oak box.

Kano had no choice but to run to the yard in the middle of the night and draw another moonlight circle, and again bled blood as a sacrifice, adding a layer of Moon Seal to the box.

Now he was a little sleep deprived and a little weak due to blood loss. He just wanted to rush to school and get rid of this thing with Dumbledore.

The person sitting opposite him this time was Neville. Although his face was still round, he seemed to have lost a little weight this year.

"Kano, did you sleep well last night?" Neville asked curiously.

"Yes, you brought it upon yourself." Kano yawned, "I won't go into details, get out of the car and call me."

Kano quickly stuffed the beef sandwich made by Kreacher into his mouth, drank half a bottle of grape juice, and fell asleep lying on the train bench.

When he woke up again, the express train was almost arriving. Kano quickly put on his remade school robe and got off the train with his classmates.

Kano was helpless to find that he was already a head taller than his classmates and looked like a repeater. And judging from the girls' reactions, he seemed to have become handsome again.

What can I do? I am also very troubled.

The second-year students began to ride carriages into the campus, and the carriage was pulled by Ye Qi. Only those who have witnessed and truly understood death can see them.

The Thestral has no pupils, its eyes are silver-white, and its body is covered with black fur that sticks tightly to its bones.

They can fly and have wings on their backs, which look like the membrane wings of a bat.

Kano, Neville and the Indian sisters sat in a carriage, and the carriage started to move slowly.

"How was your vacation, Kano?" Parvati asked.

"It's not bad, it's wonderful." Kano commented after recalling the holiday that took place all over the UK.

"We are exhausted," Padma said. "We have been working as waitresses in the family restaurant, and we smell of curry every day."

Kano wanted to say that he could smell it, but it was a bit rude.

Soon Neville also joined in. His vacation was spent facing his grandmother every day and dealing with a large group of relatives who wanted to see if Neville had really learned magic.

Soon, the carriage started to go uphill and finally stopped at the gate of the castle.

Carnot was the first to jump off the carriage, and he couldn't wait to throw the diary to Dumbledore for safekeeping.

The door opened, and the hungry little wizards poured into the auditorium. They each sat down at the long table representing their own college.

Kano found a seat close to the Sorting Hat. From this angle, the sorting ceremony was indeed very ceremonial.

The professors also entered the room one after another, and Dumbledore sat on the highest principal's chair. Kano winked at him and indicated that he would see him later if something happened.

Dumbledore was stunned for a moment and blinked hard at Cano. Cano was sure that the old man was confused by him and didn't understand what he was saying.

Forget it, just go find him directly later.

The Sorting Hat was placed on the chair, and Professor McGonagall left the auditorium, preparing to bring the little wizards over.

The nervous little wizards lined up in a row in the center of the auditorium, and Professor McGonagall began to call the names by last name.

"Were we that nervous last year?" Kano heard Harry ask in a low voice.

"I'm not sure. Last year I was nervous and felt like there was a white light all around me." Ron replied, and a suppressed laughter sounded from the Gryffindor table.

The Sorting Hat sang a song with a different melody than last year, but the general content remained the same. Then, the sorting began.

"Colin Creevey!"

"Gryffindor!" he shouted as soon as the Sorting Hat touched his hair, and Gryffindor welcomed him with warm applause.

With a camera hanging on his chest, this child excitedly ran to the long table and sat down.

"Ginny Weasley!"

"Gryffindor!"

No doubt, Ginny blushed, glanced at Harry, and ran over.

Jordan seemed to be telling the twins a joke about Gryffindor's red-haired army. The twins thought this was a good idea and they would definitely have more babies in the future.

Dumbledore once again carried forward the fine style of last year. After saying a few words, really just two sentences, he announced that dinner was ready.

"Welcome everyone, it's a pleasure to have us gather again at Hogwarts this year!"

"Let's eat!"

The table was immediately filled with food, and Kano unceremoniously took the barbecue and stuffed it into his mouth. After almost finishing this meal, the blood shed yesterday would be restored.

It is still a high-calorie food combination such as staple food and dessert. This year, Dumbledore did not have any special instructions except that he once again emphasized not to go to the Forbidden Forest and not to cast spells in the corridor.

The little wizards then yawned and left the auditorium, heading towards the lounges of their respective colleges.

Kano walked halfway and turned in the direction of the principal's office, pressed the wooden box in his arms, and looked up at the stone beast at the door of the principal's office.

"Old rules." The stone beast tilted its stone head.

"Hmm... durian candy. How about it?"

"The taste is really strong, go up." The stone beast jumped aside, and Kano followed the stairs and entered the principal's office.

Dumbledore was putting away the Sorting Hat, and Carnot took out the oak box and placed it on the table.

"The Horcrux has been found."

The portraits of Dumbledore and the previous headmasters looked at the box in surprise. Carnot put two fingers together and made a virtual mark in front of his eyes. Dumbledore immediately understood that this was a prophecy.

He carefully pulled out a long, scarred wand, and Kano knew it was the legendary elder wand.

Opening the lid, the diary lay quietly inside, as quiet as a pure young notebook.

Kano snorted, slapped the lid of the box, and closed the oak box.

The diary immediately stopped pretending and started struggling crazily again.

Dumbledore opened the lid of the box, and the tip of the Elder Wand emitted a curl of silver light, suppressing the restlessness of the diary.

Kano felt that it might be the guardian of the gods? In short, it was a ball of extremely compressed positive energy that violently suppressed the diary.

"I can feel that this is a dark magic item protected by a powerful spell." Dumbledore said seriously, "If your prediction is correct, then this is Tom's Horcrux."

"Then I will trouble you, principal, to keep this Horcrux. This year I will use druid techniques to analyze it."

"What method?" Dumbledore wondered.

"I want to try to peel off its prickly shell through the infection of positive energy and see the piece of Tom's soul lodged inside."

Kano threw the diary to Dumbledore, turned around and left easily.

He had a guess about Voldemort's Horcrux.
