The Trinity of Harry Potter

Chapter 57: The Origin of Yesterday

Harry had been sleeping very uneasily recently. He could always hear intermittent whispers in various places.

The whispering voice wanted to find something but also to tear it apart. Harry was tortured so much that he had to ask his friends to help find out the reason.

"Harry, you may have Slytherin blood." Ron said seriously after hearing Harry's hissing cry.

"This performance is called Parseltongue, and it is a talent that only a small number of wizards can master. You can communicate with snakes by using Parseltongue."

"I had a few conversations with the pythons in the zoo when I was a kid..." Harry suddenly understood that this incident was unusual even in the wizarding world.

"In the magical world, only powerful dark wizards can speak Parseltongue." Hermione pulled out a heavy book and pointed it to Harry.

"The most famous Parseltongue user is Salazar Slytherin. This ability has also been passed down from generation to generation among his blood descendants."

Harry looked at Ron for help, but Ron wasn't sure.

"Harry, you know that the wizarding world is too small, and almost every pure-blood family has relatives."

"For example, our Weasley family has been at odds with the Black family for hundreds of years, but Kano is not half Weasley's blood yet." Ron gave a real example, "I want to find out what the relationship between you and Slytherin is.

If there is no blood relationship, we must start researching from the family genealogy."

"But after my house was blown up by Voldemort, nothing was left." Harry was extremely frustrated.

"It's okay, Harry. There are many wizards in the wizarding world who study family genealogy. We can find out by looking for a few more books." Ron decided to go home and help Harry look for cracks in the walls of his house.

Not to mention Harry and his friends running around trying to find out the ingredients, Kano felt like he had reached a bottleneck recently.

Halloween morning, by the black lake.

Kano's oak sword was wrapped with magic, and it only took three strikes to disrupt the opponent's knight's posture. Then Kano cut off his thigh with a sword and completely destroyed his balance. After dodging his final attack, he used his sword

thrust out and pinned him to the ground.

The knight struggled twice and turned into white mist and disappeared. Then, more than fifty knights of the Round Table without armor walked out of the thick mist. As far as the eye could see, they were all defeated by Carnot's men.

"That's right, Kano. You are already invincible among us knights without characteristics."

It was Irving who stood up, and the others responded loudly, while Kano looked at them with some embarrassment.

"Aren't there nearly a hundred knights with unique characteristics in front of us? Isn't everyone doing it too grand?"

"Kano, it's not that we can't activate the feature because we are ineffective, but because we died too early." Irving squeezed Kano's shoulder hard, "We almost represent the highest level of strength of the knights before the feature is activated. Don't worry about it.

We looked down upon him."

A knight with an unkempt beard and thick arms stood up and insisted on wrestling Kano to celebrate.

The somewhat downtrodden but powerful knight thought that Kano should find a woman and become a real man first before becoming a knight.

A bunch of old guys who had been dead for eighteen hundred years were noisy, but in the end it was Gawain who conveyed his voice.

"Stop making such a fuss. Kano is about to complete his great deeds. When he becomes a real knight, it won't be too late for everyone to celebrate."

The knights could only mutter and turned into mist again. Kano patted his cheeks and turned around to leave the black lake.

The full moon ceremony attracted the basilisk to appear and swallowed the acorn that could be located. Now Kano has figured out its route back to the secret room.

Kano was going to blow up its back path first. After the Halloween party in the evening, he took Dumbledore with him into the secret room, and then dealt with the basilisk there.

Kano walked into the Forbidden Forest, and the little unicorn ran over as usual. No need to communicate, Kano rode the little unicorn along the explored snake path.

After a while, Kano felt as if he had run far away from the school. Finally, they came to a deep cave that was obviously reinforced by magic.

A strong fishy smell wafted out from the entrance of the cave. It was obvious that the basilisk usually lived inside.

Kano gently diffused his magic power, sensing the magic cast at the entrance of the cave.

He unexpectedly discovered that the magic at the entrance of the cave had very obvious nodes. Not to mention Kano, even a first-year student could dispel the magic by touching the magic nodes.

Once the magic is lifted, the cave will collapse immediately.

If this was simply an entrance and exit for the Basilisk, then there would be no need for such a design.

Kano couldn't restrain his curiosity and rode the little unicorn into the cave.

The stench in the cave was overwhelming, and there was dried blood of Acromantula on the ground.

But Kano saw that there were relatively complete steps on the ground, extending down into the darkness. This was definitely not prepared for the basilisk.

Kano did not move forward to avoid sending himself into the mouth of the basilisk. But in the end, he did not blow up the exit, but quickly returned to the castle.

Dumbledore couldn't help but frowned when he heard Cano's report.

He turned his attention to the portrait of the principal hanging on the wall. The oldest old principal hanging on the wall thought carefully for a while, and then spoke.

"My predecessor did not leave a portrait. There was no such magic at that time."

"But he told me that if Hogwarts is invaded by a foreign enemy and all escape routes are blocked, all students should go to the girls' bathroom on the third floor." The old principal said, stroking his beard.

Kano seemed to understand something and quickly asked: "Did he say anything else?"

"No, and then he died." The old principal shook his head, "And in my lifetime, Hogwarts has not been invaded."

"Later, witch hunting activities gradually stopped, and we wizards were completely separated from Muggles. This information seems to have been passed down for several generations, and I don't know who it was, and it was no longer mentioned."

Another principal raised his hand: "I presided over the construction of two more secret passages, which are enough. The information conveyed to me by my predecessor was more like a legend to me, so I did not pass it on."

Kano nodded. It seemed that the secret room was not just a basilisk breeding base, and the basilisk was not a weapon solely used to eliminate wizards who were ordinary people.

As for what Slytherin's original intention was, perhaps no one would know. Perhaps the reason why he did this was left in the Chamber of Secrets.

"Okay, Kano." Dumbledore said with his fingers crossed, waking up from his meditation, "Do you still insist on fighting the basilisk on your own?"

"Yes, Principal." Kano nodded.

"Maybe this time, we can not only eliminate the hidden danger of the basilisk, but also gain a new understanding of Salazar Slytherin."
