The Trinity of Harry Potter

Chapter 6 The Wand Theory

What exactly is a magic wand?

This question has troubled Kano, who is a reader of Harry Potter books, for a long time.

They seemed so important that a wand-wielding English wizard could overwhelm an African finger-casting witch doctor.

However, they don't seem that important. Strong wizards can cast spells without a wand and still dominate the crowd.

They seem to be alive and will resist serving certain people. They are the embodiment of the master's talents in certain aspects.

But that's all. The only things that are truly wonderful are the twin cores of Harry and Voldemort, and the unruly Elder Wand.

Is it okay to hold two wands in hand and shoot them from left to right? Is it okay to hold a large number of wands in my arms for backup? Is it okay to hold them in my mouth...

Kano thinks everyone has had this question, but they just haven't had the chance to verify it.

Now the opportunity for verification was before him.

Ollivander has silver hair and big silver eyes like two bright lights in the dim and cramped room.

He looked at Kano intently, and it took him a long time to move his big eyes.

"Fair skin, hidden arrogance. Forgive me for being rash, young sir, are you a blood descendant of the Black family?"

Kano nodded naturally: "My father is Regulus Black."

Ollivander showed a clear expression: "I remember, your grandmother took him to buy a wand that day. In the end, he bought a twelve-inch wand with laurel wood and a dragon heartstring core."

"It seems like this happened yesterday. The owner of the laurel wand will always pursue glory. I thought he died silently after joining the Death Eaters. When I saw you today, I thought there was a story behind it.

."

Kano looked into Ollivander's light eyes and nodded: "When the time is right, I will tell his story to the world."

Ollivander nodded, turned around and took out the magic tape measure.

"let's start."

Dumbledore had been standing behind Kano, silently listening to the conversation between the two, and only rolled his blue eyes when he heard Regulus' name.

"Mr. Kano, which hand is your dominant hand?"

"Right hand."

The silver tape measure works on its own, measuring various data back and forth.

Ollivander wrote calculations on the parchment, nodding and shaking his head.

He muttered something, ran to the stacked shelves, and took down a large number of tightly tied boxes.

"The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Kano. Maybe you have different ideas, but please respect my ideas here."

As Ollivander spoke, he untied all the boxes with a deftness that didn't match his appearance.

"Try fir wood first, they like survivors. The cores of these three wands are unicorn hair, phoenix tail feathers and dragon heartstrings. Of course, I will only use these three high-grade materials for the wand cores."

Kano raised each wand one by one, willing to serve him, and the tips of the wands sprayed out brilliant fire powder.

"Tsk, that's good, but not enough."

Ollivander stuffed the three wands back into the box and climbed onto the shelf again.

Then they tried the insecure willow, which was not enough.

Visionary vine wood, not enough.

Maple loves adventure, not enough.

Almost every kind of wand has been tried, and Kano feels that he can use every one of them well, but he just can't find the "it".

Ollivander tapped his forehead lightly in confusion, and Kano couldn't help but ask.

"Mr. Ollivander, can you satisfy my curiosity?"

"Excuse me, little sir, just take a break."

Ollivander looked at Kano again, and Kano pointed to a pile of boxes on the ground.

"What exactly is a wand?"

Ollivander seemed to be stunned by this confusing question, and it took him a moment to understand Kano's intention.

"Oh, Mr. Kano." He smiled and raised his wand, "It is our partner and a part of our body."

"We are not trying to add an extra arm to you. The most suitable wand will give you the feeling of seeing you again after a long absence."

"Only when you get it will you become complete."

Kano pinched his chin, seeming to understand something.

He stretched out his arms in a hug, releasing himself without reservation.

The aura belonging to the Goblin Country hit their faces, and both Ollivander and Dumbledore narrowed their eyes.

Almost all the wands were awakened and lit in their boxes, and some even sprayed out colorful smoke impatiently.

But Kano couldn't feel them anymore. He stretched out his hand and pointed in a certain direction, and a wand simply flew into his hand with its box.

"It's incredible. This is something that a wand and its owner can do accidentally after years of working together."

Ollivander took the box from Kano and admired it.

Opening the box, there was a yew wand with a dragon's heartstring as the core and a fourteen-inch wand inside.

Ollivander has never considered it in this direction. In his opinion, this kind of wand wood has nothing to do with Kano.

Because yew represents rebirth, eternity and immortality in Druid culture.

Kano curled his lips and complained in his mind that this wand was sharper than a human being. It was indeed the wand that chose the wizard.

Ollivander took a deep look at the wand, then looked at Kano, and put the wand back in his hand.

"I believe you will do great things with it."

"I believe this too, thank you."

Kano replied softly, and the yew wand emitted a gentle dim yellow light, injecting a warmth into his body.

At this moment, he realized that all his previous thoughts were impossible.

For a wizard, the wand is not a tool, but a part of the wizard's body. Those powerful wizards can indeed cast spells without a wand, but that is neither natural nor comfortable.

As for holding several wands at the same time, that is even more delusional. The moment you pick up your wand, the two are influencing each other and running into each other.

Using two wands at the same time is like trying to get on two trains going in opposite directions at the same time. It's simply impossible.

After leaving Ollivander's Wand Shop, Kano excitedly twirled his wand on his fingertips, and the wand sprayed colorful fire powder excitedly.

When the passers-by around him saw his appearance, they also recalled the joy of getting a magic wand on the first day when they were children.

Dumbledore saw this and couldn't help but smile.

The two went to Flourish and Blotts Bookstore to order a set of reference books, and bought a set of crucibles, crystal flasks and other experimental equipment for school.

Finally, return to Madam Malkin's Robe Shop and pick up several sets of clothes that have been made.

At the end of the day, Dumbledore opened the door to Cano's room.

An ugly thing with a round head, a small figure, long pointed ears, and wearing rags rushed over, accompanied by a cry.

"Young Master!"
