The Trinity of Harry Potter
Chapter 89 Traces in the Forest
Early the next morning, Kano and Fleur left the manor under the worried eyes of the housekeeper.
The broken bones of the scientific expedition team in the forest appeared in the upper reaches of the forest creek and have now been collected by the police station.
Today the two are going to the police station to read the police autopsy report directly.
Soon, the two came to a small town along the road pointed out by the housekeeper. Strangers didn't come here often, and Furong and Kano both had outstanding looks, so many townspeople turned their attention to them.
The two of them didn't pay attention and went straight to the police station in the center of the town. When they walked in, there was only one police officer on duty here, dozing off in broad daylight.
"Sir, sir?"
Kano knocked on the table, and the police officer who was catching up on his sleep suddenly raised his head and wiped the corners of his mouth.
"Sir, I..." He opened his sleepy eyes and found that it was not his leader in front of him. He breathed a sigh of relief, "You are not local residents, are you? What's the matter?"
Kano threw the wand into his hand and secretly cast a spell on him.
"Confusion."
Effortlessly, the police officer fell into a dazed state again.
"We were sent from above to investigate the attack on the scientific expedition team. I've shown you the ID."
"Have you read it? Okay, come with me to get the information."
The two followed the police officer on duty to the warehouse at the back. The officer casually took out the report from a box and handed it to Cano, and then went back to sleep.
"Copy as a double."
A simple copy spell and all the data is available.
"Okay, the police station infiltration plan went very smoothly." Fleur took Kano's arm with satisfaction.
Kano also smiled and nodded. The two found a secluded place and began to read the autopsy report carefully.
According to the report, after examination by the coroner, the skeletons found by the stream belonged to four different people.
Based on a comparison of dental records and their teeth, it was confirmed that the four victims were four members of the scientific expedition team.
Their skeletons are covered with marks left by the bites of sharp animal teeth. According to research, most of them were left by a huge canine.
But there are still some semicircular marks, which means that humans have chewed on these bones.
"Are you sure?" Fleur frowned and tapped the report in her hand, "This was done by a werewolf. And whether before or after the transformation, this guy enjoys the taste of humans."
"I really know such a werewolf." Kano said uncertainly, "Fenrir Greyback, a true cannibal and villain."
No matter in the past or in the "original" future, this dirty werewolf has a lot of blood debt.
A large part of Voldemort's Death Eaters want to seek benefits or status through him, and the other part are motivated by his terrifying strength. But Fenrir Greyback is different, he is pure evil.
Greyback loves cannibalism and regards creating more werewolves as his lifelong career.
Back then, because Lupine's father had offended Greyback, he sneaked into Lupine's house in the middle of the night and bit Lupine as a child, turning him into a werewolf.
"Have we found this bastard's lair?" After listening to Kano's words, Fleur thought thoughtfully.
"It's very possible, because after the scientific expedition team was attacked, Louis still saw the giant wolf under the moonlight. This proves that he did not leave here."
"Then the next step is to capture him?" Furong said half-heartedly, "There is no reasoning process at all."
"What's wrong with this?" Kano said with a smile, "When I catch Greyback, I'll give Cromwell a glass of magic potion to make sure he's cured of his illness."
"Let's go and deal with him. Tonight is the full moon, so let's deal with him quickly."
Fleur cheered up, and Kano turned into a white eagle and flew her to the creek where the bones were found.
"Look at the photo right here. Now we need to look for footprints that are too large. After so many days, it may be..."
Before Kano finished speaking, he saw Fleur taking out her wand and tapping the ground.
"Traces to the source."
The blood stains seeping into the soil were locked by a magic spell, and a dark red road appeared in front of the two of them.
"A magic spell I've never seen before is very useful." Kano praised.
"I found it in the library after what happened last time. It was an unpopular spell." Fleur pulled Kano forward along the road, "But you are right, it is very useful, and that is enough."
The two of them followed the traces and walked forward through the woods. Kano saw many small trees that had been broken, and the broken stubble was no longer so fresh.
"It's been at least a month." Kano gently tapped the tree trunk and got its feedback.
The traces disappeared under a stone wall. Kano simply picked up Furong, jumped up on his feet, and landed gently on the seven or eight meter high stone wall.
"Very good, Mr. Watson." Fleur tapped Kano's chest with satisfaction.
"Thank you for the compliment."
The two finally came to a hidden cave that exuded a foul smell. Kano opened his life vision and scanned around, but found no trace of any living creatures.
There was a burned-out fire outside the cave entrance, but the housekeeper said it had rained here the day before yesterday, so the fire could only have been left yesterday or the night before.
There is a bed in the cave and several dried meat hanging in the ventilation area of the cave.
"These can't be..." Fu Rong's face turned pale, as if she was about to vomit.
"I think that's the one. After all, not all the skeletons of the scientific expedition team have been recovered." Cano endured his nausea and used his magic wand to make the dried meat float, and then helped these poor people to bury them in peace.
"Whether he is Greyback or not, he is dead."
After setting up a grave for them, Kano started to set up traps nearby with a dark face.
Furong continued to explore the cave, where she discovered some unusual places.
Kano heard Furong's call and walked into the cave.
"What's wrong? Did you find anything?"
"Look here." Furong pointed to the innermost part of the cave.
It seems that someone has used magic to expand inward, and the workmanship is very rough, and the cutting marks are left there in a very unnatural way.
"These man-made traces are very old, and they don't look like they were recently built temporary settlements." Fleur analyzed, "But if the werewolf has been hiding from the crowd here for several years, why did Cromwell discover his existence only recently?"
?”
Kano also reacted: "It is very painful for werewolves to transform, so in order to keep it secret, they will use large-scale earplugs and other magic to block the sound of their howls before transforming."
"Then he deliberately let Cromwell find him? What was the purpose?"
The two looked at each other and reached a consensus.
"Cromwell must have been unusual."
"It seems that the reasoning part is not over yet?" Kano raised his eyebrows.
"I think so." Fleur must have arrived, "Let's go, it's lunch time."
