The Urban Dao Child

Yang Dao and Dao Yin fought against six people. They were changing their styles constantly, but the opponents were able to keep up with it. However, they were still under control and fighting with high spirit.

Yang Dao had been paying attention to his opponents' attacks only, not their faces. The Heavenly Dao Child did not realize that he was unconsciously pissing off the three girls. They were all able to talk with telepathy, and they were coming up with a strategy to make this boy suffer for ignoring them.

Kiya said, "Mika, slash harder."

Mika replied, "I am doing it but the harder I attack the softly he defends. This is so frustrating."

Lisa said, "Calm down and preserve your strength. Do not think about him but yourself. Remember your lessons."

The two subconsciously let Lisa take the lead, the ferocious charge became calm, and every attack came in stronger than the last. Yang Dao sensed the change and was surprised, he could not help but cast a gaze at their visage.

He could sense that they were familiar but how he did not know. He did not say anything and changed his tactic to counter their attacks as well. Since they followed the fundaments of soft, he became the hard stone. The attacks were all timed to perfection and if the girls dared to expose a loophole, the guy will leave them with scars to remember.

The people around in the stadium had solemn faces. On the other hand, Dao Yin was pushing the three opponents back with grace. She suddenly thought of something and said, "Yang, are you perhaps holding back?"

The words were spoken with telepathy and they echoed in Yang Dao's mind. The boy let out a sheepish laugh and said, "I thought I will grind them a bit longer."

Dao Yin said, "Move fast or all the food you stored with me, I will throw it in a trash can outside."

Her tone was anything but gentle. She was a cold persona, and Yang Dao was pissing her off. After being warned, Yang Dao moved forward. Yes, he was yet to take a step when it came to attacking or defending. He had been standing in the same position ever since he started to fight.

Yang Dao did not want to be rude to the females but the lady of his house has spoken and he needed to do what was necessary. He mumbled, "Sorry."

His hand shot, this attack was anything but modest, the sword intent and the elements were all blended together and they shot forth together blended with each other. The attack looked like a rainbow but the people in the viewing galleries had already stood up. Yang Dao had cast three elemental sword blades and the attack was not any bigger than the size of a palm.

The speed was so fast that even the ray of light may not be able to catch up to it. The girls raised their swords and then they tried their best to withstand the attack. However, the force was something they have never experienced.

BANG!!!

The explosion created a huge cloud of dust, surrounding the people inside the battle area. Dao Yin, on the other side, took similar action and the attack from her sword slashed at the three males around her.

The people could only hear a 'Shing' the effect was so sharp that it slashed through the dust cloud. When the scene cleared up, three girls and three boys were laying down on the ground. The people did not expect two to overwhelm six people.

One of the judges in the viewing gallery said, "Marvelous."

Then the surrounding people began to clap, the momentum of applause, was so strong that the whole stadium was shaking from the intensity. Yang Dao and Dao Yin stood with each other, however, they did not feel good about winning this battle. Zen appeared in the void above and she waved her hand.

This action cleaned up the dust cloud and also the defeated opponents. They were all sent back to the sides of the three familiar spirits. Zen said, "The winners are Yang Dao and Dao Yin. I guess none of you have any objections to this."

The people in the stands did not say anything. They all unanimously agreed to stay silent. Zen gazed at them all, and since they did not say anything the girl said, "Then the meeting has come to an end."

The judges all stood up and bowed to the center and to the four familiar spirits. Then they all left. Yang Dao and Dao Yin also moved to appear beside Laohu Bai. The two people did not say much as they were feeling unsettled. Laohu Bai asked, "Why are you two not happy?"

The two replied, "We are confused."

Laohu Bai said, "Come let me take you to meet the other three."

The couple nodded and they vanished from the viewing stands, they appeared in a room, where all the familiar spirits were present. However, the male opponents were not present. Feng Yun smiled and said, "Hello."

The couple was surprised, they did not expect the lady to be so friendly. Yang Dao and Dao Yin bowed to her and then to the other two. Yang Dao asked, "Where did Dao Yin's opponents go?"

Zen appeared and said, "They had assignments so they left in a hurry, plus men have a hard time accepting defeat."

Yang Dao nodded gently. Atsuji Kurogame asked, "Do you want to say anything to our students?"

Dao Yin replied, "They have good talents, yet they do not execute them all."

Ryu raised his eyebrow and said, "Continue."

Yang Dao said, "The three of them can use all elements. Right?"

The three girls nodded and Dao Yin said, "Then why were you not using them against Yang?"

The three girls were surprised. Dao Yin continued, "You all could have defeated us, however, you hesitate. You must have trust in your skills and your elements. They will blend in together, just like you were."

Dao Yin had a smile on her face and this reaction caused the three girls to blush. Laohu Bai coughed and said, "Well, you two have won so it is time for you to receive the gifts."

Yang Dao asked, "Anything edible?"

Laohu Bai smacked the back of his head, and the people chuckled. Yang Dao just scratched the back of his head and Dao Yin said, "I have all the food that you need."

Feng Yun said, "This is my gift for you, two tears of phoenix. They can heal any injury, even if you are on the death's door, they can bring you back. It can also purify things. No matter how bad the thing is, it can be purified."

She took out two small crystal vails, Yang Dao and Dao Yin bowed and collected them. Atsuji Kurogame said, "I give you two a set of armor, it is as tough as the shell of the black tortoise and can take any attack. Even if a person is stronger than the peak of the true immortal realm, you will not suffer a scratch."

He waved his hands and took out a pair of armors. Yang Dao and Dao Yin took the armors with a bow. They were overwhelmed by the extraordinary rewards. The black armor was very pleasing to Dao Yin's eyes as it was her favorite color.

Ryu Jinshi said, "I gift you a set of artifacts, this artifact can take you to fly through the heavens with just a thought, if you can master it, then your speed will be as fast as your thoughts."

As he waved his hands a set of wings appeared in their hands. The couple bowed again as they sensed the wings attach to their backs. Laohu Bai smiled and said, "Now, I give you two a set of artifacts. These two rods can take shape of any weapon that you may want to use."

She took out two silvery rods then she gave them to the people. Yang Dao smiled and said, "This is good. Now, can I take Yin to go out and eat in the markets?"

Laohu Bai had no intention to stop him and the others were smiling. Feng Yun said, "If you two do not mind, take our students with you as well, they all are visiting here for the first time as well."

Yang Dao and Dao Yin nodded and the girl said, "Yes, it will be our pleasure."

Then the young people all moved out quickly. The three girls were very excited to spend time again with Yang Dao and before leaving they all gave her a thumbs up. When they reached the market. Yang Dao and Dao Yin held hands, however, they did not let the girls feel like they are left out.

Atsuji Kurogame looked at them and said, "The masters have blended with the river of times."

The other four nodded and said, "Now, the time to confront the void is coming closer."
