The warden who guards the witches
Chapter 117 It’s Not Impossible
At night, Aiden brought Flanda to the core area for inspection.
"Come and fight you, you useless bastard. I'll show you how I'll skin you alive!"
"Get ready, you rubbish prison boss!"
"Strongly request more food in the canteen!"
Veronica was not on duty tonight, and Camilla didn't care about this matter after Aiden said so before. The core area returned to the chaotic state of the past.
But Aiden didn't care about them today.
"Has Precia been transferred to the cell?" Aiden asked Flanda beside him.
"Yes, the infirmary said that there was no need to lie in the infirmary any longer in the evening, so we followed the procedure and let her go to the cell. As you said before, we sent her to cell number 12." Flanda replied.
Aiden walked quickly through the corridor and came directly to cell number 12.
"Ah, warden, good evening." Daly stood in front of the door and greeted Aiden.
"Where is Prescia?" Aiden asked Daly. He only saw Daly leaning against the gate.
"She..." Daly hesitated and turned sideways, allowing Aiden to see deep into the cell, "She's still hiding inside."
Aiden looked over and saw Prescia hiding on her bed deep inside the cell, staring at Daly with a wary look, with hostility clearly visible in her eyes.
But when she saw Aiden, her eyes softened significantly.
"I don't know why, she didn't want me to get close to her since she came in, no matter how I comforted her." Daly said helplessly.
"After all, she has no memory at all, and was suddenly locked up in the core area from the infirmary, and she was in the same room with strangers. It's normal for her to be nervous, just get used to it." Flanda said lightly on the side.
I'm afraid it's not just this reason... Aiden thought.
Daley was an S-level wanted criminal that the Inquisition had spent a considerable amount of manpower and resources to barely catch. In the past, Rebecca had personally participated in the operation to capture Daley, so she naturally knew Daley.
If the person in Precia's body was Rebecca who had lost her memory, and at the same time, she still had impressions of certain people and things in her deep consciousness, then Daley was undoubtedly a person who needed to be vigilant in Rebecca's eyes.
Similarly, this can also explain the unfounded trust that this "Precia" has in him now.
"Dale, please retreat to the wall first, I will talk to her."
Aiden motioned Daley to walk away from the door, and then waved to Precia.
Seeing this, Precia got off the bed and walked to the gate of the fence on thin ice.
"That..." She hesitated to speak, but couldn't remember how to call Aiden in this situation.
"Call me Warden." Aiden reminded her.
"Um... good evening, warden." Precia greeted Aiden in a low voice and nodded imperceptibly.
It can be seen that she is not used to this title yet, and she may not even have a clear concept of what the "prison" she is in is.
"Don't you want to live in this room?" Aiden asked her bluntly.
Precia glanced cautiously at Daly, who was standing by the wall with her arms folded, and whispered, "Yes..."
"Why do I feel that she is afraid of you in a way that is a little strange..." Flanda also noticed Precia's unnaturalness, and looked at Daly inside with suspicion, "You really didn't do anything strange to her?"
"How is it possible?" Daly sighed and tried to approach Precia, "Okay, Precia, don't be so nervous. I am Daly, I am really your old friend, I won't hurt you..."
She reached out to put her hand on Precia's shoulder, but Precia shrank her shoulders and avoided her: "No! Don't touch me! Otherwise I will be rude!"
She also made a deterrent expression, like a cat with its fur standing up.
"It's so strange, what's the problem?" Daly was puzzled.
"Please let me change rooms..." Precia whispered to Aiden.
"You have just recovered from a serious illness and have no memory. It is not convenient for you to live alone. It is rare to meet someone willing to protect you here. You are lucky. Don't be too willful! This prison area is full of people who eat people without spitting bones. Who else do you want to live in the same room with?" Flanda persuaded Precia impatiently.
"Well..." Precia thought for a while, then raised her hand hesitantly and pointed at Aiden.
"Me?" Aiden raised his eyebrows.
"I think you can trust your words." Precia said with a face of certainty.
"Prisoner 3397, don't be too outrageous!" Flanda immediately appeared and scolded Precia.
"It's not impossible. Then I will let you out now." Aiden suddenly answered.
"That's what I said!" Flanda habitually echoed, and then froze, "Huh?"
"Warden!?" She turned her head suddenly to look at Aiden, with surprise written all over her face.
"It's okay, let her out." Aiden motioned to Flanda to open the door.
Flanda hesitated for a long time, but finally opened the cell door as she was told and let Precia out.
"Warden, you are..." Even Daly was a little dumbfounded.
"Don't worry, leave her to me today." Aiden waved at her.
"Wow! Master Aiden, you finally came to your senses!!" A cry of surprise suddenly came from Room 13 across the corridor.
Faile, the succubus, was lying in front of the fence, looking at Aiden with burning eyes, her tail wagging in excitement.
"I want it too, Master Aiden! Let me go with you! We've already found one anyway, why not add me one more!!" She grabbed the railing and jumped up and down, encouraging Aiden enthusiastically.
Aiden turned his head: "Well, I just want to call you, so you come out too."
"Oh, don't say that..." Feier tried to be coquettish out of habit, but then she realized something was wrong, "Huh?"
She stared at Aiden blankly, unable to believe her ears.
"I told you to come out too, Frenda, and open the door for her." Aiden instructed his subordinates.
"Warden? Are you serious!?" Flanda confirmed to Aiden.
"It's okay, open the door for her." Aiden insisted.
Flanda opened the cell door with questions in her head, and Faile immediately jumped out like an arrow: "Lord Aiden!!"
Aiden quickly ducked behind Precia, and Faile hugged the confused Precia.
"Tsk! In the way!" Fei'er realized that she had the wrong goal and roughly pushed Precia away.
"Just calm down!" Aiden warned Faile in time, suppressing her intention to pounce again.
"I understand, I understand, let's wait until we are in your office to continue, right!" Fei'er said expectantly, "No problem! I can tolerate it a little bit!"
