Serious and urgent voices could be heard in the main hall of the Zhang family. The young people who had left for their training were going to their respective residences while fear and uncertainty were clearly shown in their looks and behaviour, drawing the attention of all the people in the Zhang family.

"Elders, my girl, what happened to you?" asked Zhang Chao with a worry and confusion on his face as he looked at the strange and fearful behavior of the people.

With the servants gone and unimportant people, Zhang Jinshian began to comment on what happened at the Zhang family training.

"What!"

Zhang Chao shouted when he stood up and began to examine his own daughter and the elders.

After making sure his daughter was doing well, he continued to question.

"So, you mean a strange person saved everyone by taking on the whole demon beast horde on his own? And with only a sword in hand?" Zhang Chao found this hard to believe.

He quickly remembered something and asked with anticipation: "That person... wasn't he a young man in his twenties and his clothes looked very sumptuous and of splendid quality?"

The elders shook their heads before replying: "In fact, his clothes seemed to be of excellent quality, but, we really couldn't see his face, he was wearing a mask, so we couldn't tell if he was young, adult or old..."

Zhang Chao frowned. He did not know if this person was really the young man the Lord of the City had described. Perhaps he was a powerful Emperor rank from one of the other great families and did not want them to discover his identity?

Zhang Chao saw that Zhang Xie was hesitating and asked, "Sister Xie... is there anything you want to say?"

Zhang Xie had wanted to say that, the young miss had seen the face of the mysterious person, but she didn't know whether to say it. Before she could respond, Zhang Xinya's voice sounded.

"Father, the one who saved the whole Zhang family was a young man who looked almost my age. He saved me from being killed by a demon beast." Zhang Xinya spoke remembering that powerful figure in her mind.

Zhang Chao's eyes lit up when he got his daughter's confirmation.

So he really had been in Star City all this time!

Those who were in the main hall could see how the Patriarch was happy to hear the description of his daughter, therefore they could not avoid asking what was going on.

Indeed, what Ling Tian had assumed was true.

The Lord of the City had only commented on his identity to the most important people of Star City: the representatives of the great families.

Zhang Xinya marveled more at what her father had to say. It seems that her future husband really was very powerful and mysterious, even more so than the Lord of the City.

Before Zhang Chao could get up and run off to warn the Lord of the City, his daughter spoke again.

"Father... I think he doesn't want us to bother him, or know anything about him. If he hid his face when he saved everyone from the horde of demon beasts, doesn't that mean he doesn't want anyone to know about him? Maybe he doesn't want to be bothered by us" Zhang Xinya had been thinking about why her savior had decided to hide his identity. Others would have shown themselves completely and received gratitude and fame by saving others. But he, uh, decided not to reveal himself. The only way this could mean is that he doesn't want to be disturbed.

Zhang Chao was stunned when he heard his daughter's logical reasoning.

Did he really not want to be found?

Patriarch Zhang Chao calmed down and began to think clearly. His agitation and enthusiasm had upset him and prevented him from thinking properly.

Reflecting on what his daughter had said, he actually found it feasible that the young man did not want anyone to recognize him. This is more likely since, it seems, he had been living in Star City, but did not address or notify the Lord of the City of his whereabouts. He seems to want to keep a low profile.

Zhang Chao was thinking for a long time before he made up his mind.

He was going to tell the Lord of the City about this, but, he was also going to tell him his guesses. Maybe if they tried to find that young man, he'd get upset and end up leaving Star City.

The patriarch could not understand what that young man was thinking.

What person would not seek fame and wealth because of its power?

With his power that surpasses the Legend rank, he could easily get anything he wanted. Even more so with his age, a young man would be blinded by fame, wealth, beauty and more. But this young man's strange behavior made him question himself a lot.

"Father, there's also something I'd like to tell you..." the lovely voice of Zhang Xinya sounded again.

"Mmm?" Zhang Chao came out of his thoughts as he looked at his daughter.

Zhang Xinya said, "Father, please take a hit from me!" She's positioned herself on the list to fight.

Zhang Chao was perplexed to receive such a request from his daughter, what did she want to do? Even the ancestor Zhang Leng was confused when he saw what the young miss was asking for.

Still, he settled into a defensive posture while, raising his hand and showing him his palm. He nodded that he was ready.

Zhang Xinya reminded him, "Father, please be serious. I will hit you with all my strength."

The patriarch was still baffled about what his daughter wanted to do. He had no choice but to listen to his daughter while he increased his guard.

Zhang Xinya nodded, before throwing a punch at him with all her might.

Boom!

Zhang Chao received the powerful blow in his palm, amazed to receive such an impact from his daughter.

"King Rank!?"

Zhang Chao and Zhang Leng cried out in surprise, feeling the energy coming from Zhang Xinya.
