The Way of The Dao

Ling Tian clenched his teeth tightly for the first time as he felt that he could not resist the suppression of Heaven and Earth.

Those three strange talismans that were in the sky had moved for the first time and stuck to him, adding even more suppression force on him as if they were trying to lock up all his strength!

Ling Tian knew that the object Mo Leng had given Jung Du was going to explode, so he threw the Spear towards Jung Du and sent him flying away from the place. But this caused his sliver of energy to enter the range of the three talismans and these lock onto him.

His legs trembled from lack of strength, almost buckling for the first time since thousands of years ago, proving that he was really in a very complicated situation. He almost fell to the ground, but stopped in mid-stride and struggled, slowly righting himself again.

Not only that, the Primordial Chaos Force's breath seemed to have received more energy when these talismans suppressed him as well, as if increasing the intensity of this power. Ling Tian had to use more of his energy to fight it, but it greatly reduced his power.

Even so, Ling Tian still kept his calm and remained steadfast without falling, increasing his resistance further and returning to his initial stance. Once again, he took a deep breath while keeping the energies within him under control.

Hong Zhong was also shocked when he suddenly lost control of the talismans that were in the sky and headed towards Ling Tian. His Spirit Sense tried to control them again but it was useless.

"I thought it was weird that you didn't do anything..." Mo Leng spoke again, but this time, his voice was no longer tense or nervous. His expression even began to light up with high expectation and he said, "But it seems like you're in a complicated situation too, haha."

Mo Leng had felt the Dragon King's strength in this shot!

An energy that could barely reach the Golden Core level!

Although this energy shouldn't be enough to fiercely hit Jung Du and send him flying, no one paid attention to this. Mainly because of Ling Tian's behavior who was almost falling to the ground.

The Dragon King apparently wasn't at his peak either!

"The Dragon King is injured and barely has weak strength!"

Mo Leng's excited voice was heard instantly. His eyes sparkled as he imagined killing the Dragon King and obtaining his great secret, as well as killing the others and obtaining the legacy of Inmortal Supreme Ling Tian!

The others were shocked by this and when they began to recall the faint energy Ling Tian had shot out, they actually realized that he had apparently also declined and would obviously not be at his peak. Even that terrifying pressure he was radiating might be fake!

Hands and fingers tightened on the hilts of swords, the thick metal of spears and other weapons, likewise, immortal essences began to slowly circulate as they continued to watch the infamous Dragon King.

The tension was still intact, but now this time a hesitation could be felt just the same. After all, no one wanted to risk being the first to die. As Immortals who had walked the bloody path of strength and power, they all knew that even if the Dragon King was weak, they could still die on the first try. None knew the cards he had hidden up his sleeve, so no one wanted to be sacrificed for others.

After all, the Dragon King had shown himself in person, which meant he had full confidence in doing so. They would have to all attack at the same time or there really would be no certainty of winning.

Indeed, just as they knew that Ling Tian would have fierce skills, Ling Tian also knew this. Especially Mo Ling and Mo Leng; these two guys had an almost unique powerful ability that could be somewhat of a difficulty for him in this situation. Plus he didn't want anyone to escape in the end.

"If we all attack, he won't be able to survive! Everyone has a limit, even himself!" Mo Ling shouted fiercely as he formed a strange array that stretched towards the sky of his immortal essence, before landing on Ling Tian.

The fierce immortal essences flowed throughout the battlefield as they prepared to attack Ling Tian.

Mo Leng formed some seals with his hands and threw some more formation flags around, extending his range and gaining more control. This way, he could control much more energy and prevent some powerful attack from easily tearing through space.

But before Mo Leng completely set up the formation, Ling Tian likewise pulled out some special flags and threw them at key points.

Mo Leng gritted his teeth full of fury and annoyance as he saw that Ling Tian had easily modified the formation and now no one had the control to operate it! It was just a formation to keep the space strong!

Ling Tian sneered inwardly and easily changed the entire formation so that it condensed spiritual energy and made space a little more resilient. The world barely and can withstand battles between experts of the Great Ascension, so an increase in power would be very dangerous.

The three talismans moved above Ling Tian as they continued to expel an ancient and light energy, but at the same time constantly adding more pressure on him. As if the hint of the Primordial Chaos Force's breath grew slightly more.

"What are you all waiting for? If you all don't attack, we'll be the ones to lose!"

Mo Leng shouted grimly before forming a giant hand with his immortal essence and grabbing one of those nearby, finally throwing him towards Ling Tian. He repeated the action again and threw yet another man.

The two men flew off in Ling Tian's direction quickly without any obstacles!

In less than a second, both men had no choice but to expel all their strength and create their own martial skills before reaching Ling Tian. Immortal essences poured out as they summoned their own weapons.

They tried to form their own Domains as well, but a powerful force would easily break them instantly.

Ling Tian raised his right hand and easily grabbed the first man's neck, while the second man waved his sword nervously and Ling Tian only weakly dodged before swinging his Dagger and piercing it in the head, fiercely penetrating and pouring out his immortal essence to explode him, killing him in the blink of an eye. The man's essence spirit was also wiped out without a trace.

An Immortal had fallen easily....

The other man felt a crushing pressure while he was being hanged by Ling Tian's right hand. A pressure he had never felt in his life was affecting him as well.

Was the Dragon King really being suppressed as he fought?

As a powerful immortal, the man instantly realized it once he directly felt the pressure on Ling Tian. He was even more shocked to realize that the infamous Dragon King still dared to show himself and fight in such a state.

The man could not even move, let alone escape. This terrifying pressure was crushing his organs and bones inside him as blood began to pour out of all his orifices.

Ling Tian pinched as if it was something unimportant and the other man died when he smashed his neck. His essence spirit burst into fire and dissipated along with his body.

Everyone swallowed hard as they watched Ling Tian kill easily. Even they would find it difficult to kill some in the situation they were in.

But they also realized one thing... the Dragon King's energy really could barely reach the Golden Core state, as if he was slowly losing his energy!

"Go! If you don't, then I'll kill you!"

"If we don't kill him, we're the ones who will be killed!"

Mo Ling barked fiercely and condensed the strange string array he had made at the beginning. The strange string array materialized in plain sight and fell on Ling Tian, creating like a layer of shackles over him as the energy around him seemed to disperse. In this way, Ling Tian would have difficulty handling the spiritual energy.

Some men finally plucked up courage and rushed towards Ling Tian.

Just as the Dragon King gained fame, he also gained a bad reputation, and many hated him to the point of searching for him for years and wanting to assassinate him.

Several people with swords, spears and more rushed towards Ling Tian. The powerful energy burst forth in a moment as they unleashed their powerful attacks.

Ling Tian frowned as he felt the space had changed around him, feeling the energy rapidly drying up. It was as if he was vaguely in another dimension.

If he switched to a different person, anyone would be helpless and totally troubled as they were unable to mobilize their energies. It was like a strange suppression similar to what he was feeling, but in this case, this string array was focused on eliminating any trace of power.

However, Ling Tian paid it no mind and took a step forward, spinning the Dagger in his hand before throwing it forward and piercing the head of one, killing it instantly. The Dagger at once flew in an arc before heading towards the other nearby. Whether or not he could mobilize his energy, he knew it more than anyone else... as if this technique was ineffective on him.

Barriers of energy materialized in an instant, defending themselves completely while finishing their secret techniques in a few seconds and directing them towards Ling Tian.

Finally, no one hesitated and they attacked this evil star.
