The Way of The Dao

"These two lovely princesses are Yinyin and Shasha, they are my disciples too. Yinyin, Shasha, come on, greet your senior sisters, they were my first disciples."

Ling Tian introduced Lan Yin and Qing Sha to everyone with an affectionate smile. A strange feeling arose in everyone's hearts as Ling Tian embraced both girls, as if he was a father introducing his two daughters.

"Shasha greets senior martial sisters!"

"Yinyin greets senior martial sisters!"

Qing Sha and Lan Yin adorably clenched their fists together in greeting towards Zhen Bingluo, Gao Xue and Gao Yue. Their eyes sparkled charmingly with big smiles on their faces, attracting tenderness and affection to those who saw them.

Zhen Bingluo together with Gao Yue and Gao Xue looked curiously with big smiles at Lan Yin and Qing Sha. They loved these two adorable and cute little sisters ever since they had seen them!

"So you two are Yinyin and Shasha?"

"You really are adorable and cute princesses!"

Gao Xue, Gao Yue and Zhen Bingluo tenderly hugged Lan Yin and Qing Sha, earning several joyful laughs from both girls. Even Ning Xiaoyi and Xi Fei showed curious looks upon seeing these two girls so young being Ling Tian's disciples, plus they had high cultivation bases when they were barely a little over 10 years old!

"Muhmm? Big sister is also Master's disciple?"

Lan Yin looked at Xue Ning to the side and asked somewhat confused. Qing Sha also looked at Xue Ning, realizing that all these big sisters are so beautiful and pretty!

Xue Ning blinked somewhat in surprise and then looked at Ling Tian somewhat nervously. A slight blush was painted on her tender cheeks enhancing her beauty.

"Ning'er was with me for a few years and I taught her cultivation and more things over time. You could say we have a Master-Disciple relationship if we take that into account, but I cared for her more like my little sister back then and never thought of being her Master or anything like that."

Ling Tian smiled warmly and couldn't help but stroke Xue Ning's head, making her blush a little more before forming a small pout. At that time he had been looking for traces of Xi Fei and Ning Xiaoyi, so he didn't think about the issue of being a Master to Xue Ning, as he mainly cared for her as if she was his little sister, loving her very much and living a quiet life not to mention much cultivation with her.

"Big brother, I'm not a little girl anymore! I've grown up!" Xue Ning's somewhat resentful expression made Ling Tian blink in surprise before laughing. Her heart pounded furiously as she felt Ling Tian's hand caressing her head. A sweetness, happiness and joy ruled her heart, her gaze fixated on Ling Tian's face getting lost in his jet black eyes that shone like galaxies, drawing her soul without any resistance.

"Haha! Of course all of you are all grown up now..."

Ling Tian looked at Xue Ning, Gao Xue, Gao Yue and Zhen Bingluo with loving, nostalgic looks filled with pure affection. He was forced to leave them when they were almost barely young because he felt the call of immortal ascension and could no longer stay in this world.

"Although you are all my disciples, I love you all as my child- well as my little brothers and sisters!"

Ling Tian unconsciously changed his words from describing them all as his children when he felt their gazes seemed to change to sharp arrows, noticing even a bit of resentment and pouting in some expressions for an instant. Something strange hit his heart without realizing it.

"But Shasha will be the one who marries Master! Just like big sisters! Hehe!"

Qing Sha returned to Ling Tian's side and triumphantly took Ling Tian's hand, showing a spectacular and joyful smile before turning to look at the group where Mu Shuiruo and the others were. The violet tips of her medium-long hair that grew over time added a charm and attraction to everyone, affirming the beauty she would have once she was fully grown.

"Master promised to marry Yinyin too!"

Lan Yin was not far behind either and took Ling Tian's other hand. She also nodded at Qing Sha's comment, her lovely cheeks blushing slightly as her expression showed absolute happiness and joy, creating a tender yet fatal attraction, with an unparalleled loveliness that continued to shine brighter and brighter with time.

Ling Tian could not help but smile awkwardly at the ironic behavior of these two girls. It seemed that it would be quite a while before they would change their minds.

After laughing at Qing Sha and Lan Yin's comments, Zhen Bingluo and her martial sisters turned to look to the side of Ling Tian when they noticed two figures approaching slightly.

Zhao Yu and Gu Yan slowly approached Ling Tian and silently looked at the others.

Ling Tian looked at their nervous expressions and laughed lightly before patting Gu Yan's head and saying, "Those two are my little daughters too, lovely disciples. I likewise found them and took care of them since they were very small, even younger than all of you!"

Ling Tian's gaze fell on Zhen Bingluo and the others, indicating to them that he took care of both Zhao Yu and Gu Yan since they were very small, being similar to how he took care of them in the past as well.

Xi Fei and others watched somewhat nervously, slowly processing Ling Tian's words. It seemed as if Ling Tian was the father of all of them?

Gu Yan pouted resentfully when she heard Ling Tian's words. Her heart was also filled with sweetness and love whenever Ling Tian patted her head, but his words expressing the way he still saw her made her unhappy, as if he wanted to emphasize their relationship.

"Greetings, martial sisters. My name is Zhao Yu and this is my sister, Gu Yan. We are Master's beloved disciples!"

Zhao Yu introduced herself with a faint smile, clenching her fists together and showing a respectful tone first before Zhen Bingluo, Gao Xue and Gao Yue. Although the latter found that Zhao Yu's manner of presenting seemed to convey confidence and firmness, there was a feeling of imposing superiority, as if declaring her position in their Master's heart.

"Yu'er, although they have lower cultivation bases than the two of you, they are your senior sisters..." A smile formed on Ling Tian as a bitterness and awkwardness enveloped his heart. Knowing Zhao Yu since she grew up, Ling Tian knew a little of what Zhao Yu was thinking and decided to slightly correct her by stating that she was very powerful but still in seniority she is junior to her present martial sisters.

Moreover, there was still an awkwardness in seeing Zhao Yu and Gu Yan because of the previous discussion. Seeing these women who were daughters to him and declared their love as woman and man and not daughter and father made him feel somewhat uncomfortable.

Gao Xue and Gao Yue's pupils glowed upon hearing Ling Tian's words and they clenched their fists together returning the greeting as well. Zhen Bingluo narrowed her eyes slightly before greeting with a mysterious smile as well.

Zhao Yu couldn't help but form a slight pout, but calmness ruled her heart quickly as she thought several things and she along with Gu Yan exchanged a few words with Zhen Bingluo, Gao Xue and Gao Yue.

"Greetings, martial aunties, my name is Xuanyuan Ling." Xuanyuan Ling also introduced herself to Zhao Yu and Gu Yan, explaining in a few words that her Masters were Gao Xue, Gao Yue and Zhen Bingluo.

Zhao Yu and Gu Yan looked at Xuanyuan Ling with interest, nodding with sincere smiles. Xuanyuan Ling somehow reminded both of them when they were younger.

"You have even grown up to the point of having disciples as well. Ling'er is a very good and obedient girl, from what I see you have taught her well. I'm very proud of all of you."

Ling Tian affectionately stroked Gao Yue's head making her blush but with a happy expression. Gao Xue and Zhen Bingluo also smiled happily and turned to look at the young woman in her almost 20's standing beside their Master. Xuanyuan Ling was their first disciple and it seemed that their Master had liked and approved of her!
