The Way of The Dao



Ling Tian smiled happily, his eyes watching the small crack in the void in front of him that he had suddenly created to absorb the attack close. A powerful new ability had been achieved.

"It's like it's some kind of sucking into the void..." Ling Tian whispered, feeling that this ability could be very useful and powerful if he continued to develop it further even though he had never known of this kind of ability or someone learning it, especially related to the Space Law. Lu Wuhu exclaimed with utmost worry as he gathered the cultivation essence in his meridians, ready to use his strongest technique to try to break the formation and help Ling Tian.

Ling Tian raised his eyebrow in surprise before smiling and nodding calmly at Lu Wuhu, leaving him dumbfounded when he saw that there was no trace of worry in him. He already had plans for it.

Intense curiosity came over Ling Tian as he saw a mysterious talisman in Man Chong's hands that could supposedly mobilize the sect's power as protection, wondering if it was related to all those formations in the sect that he had seen.

Man Chong's power flowed into the rune in his hands, activating it immediately. If he wanted to end this at once without putting himself in danger, then he would have to activate the last card he finally had with him.

Suddenly, the entire sect gradually began to tremble. Streams of energy appeared everywhere that soon began to gather in Man Chong's direction as he continued to activate the rune in his power.

A suppression fell all over the main peak, in the Main Hall. The remaining elders who had not fallen unconscious looked in horror first at Long Yuyin because of his strength and then at Ling Tian as they watched him suppress Man Chong and demonstrate terrifying abilities despite being a cripple. But now they felt more fear as they first felt the great formation activating that had been imposed on the entire sect, especially when they were not protected by the sect.

"What is going on? Why have the sect's protection and attack formations been activated? Are we being attacked by enemies?"

In the distance, a stupefied voice of a young man in his early twenties was heard as he sensed the flux change in the nearby formations. His navy blue clothing had dark yet striking black strokes, with all his clothing somehow indicating that he appeared to be of a higher status than the others. But his expression showed deep worry as he watched the formations activate when he had finally decided to come out of seclusion in closed-door cultivation.

'These formations will activate when the sect is in danger, whether we were attacked or something else happens...'

His great Master's voice flashed through his mind as he recalled the function of all these formations throughout the sect that had not been activated since its founding.

This would be the day that the sect would encounter tragedy?
