"The Lord of the City has come!"

The shocked voice of the servant brought everyone present out of their daze.

Quickly, everyone in the room stood, waiting for the arrival of the Lord of the City.

The City Lord, Long Cheng, stepped quickly into the main hall with a slightly worried look.

When he realized the painful state of the two young masters, he was surprised.

His shock did not last long when he felt a cold look coming from one side, so he could not help but move his gaze.

When Long Cheng met the cold, indifferent gaze of Yun Mengxin, he was startled.

The shock covered his entire body as he felt Yun Mengxin's inner power directed at him, as if to say that she was not afraid of him.

Long Cheng's eyes were wide open in disbelief. He was certain that the power shown to him by this young miss of the Yun family was equal to or greater than his own.

Yun Mengxin looked at the Lord of the City coldly, expressing that she was not afraid of him in case he wanted to reprimand her for hurting those two guys.

Long Cheng nodded rigidly, before speaking: "B-brother Yun, I had come to talk to you about an important matter..."

Long Cheng had another reason for coming.

When he heard that both young masters of the Ming family and the Ze family went quickly to the Yun residence, he ran as fast as he could.

He knew that these two arrogant young men were deeply in love with young Miss Yun, so they would no doubt make a fuss when they arrived at the Yun residence.

Long Cheng wanted to prevent the families from having problems with one another at a time when a large horde would arrive in the star city in a few days.

But now, observing the situation, the current state of both boys, and the powerful feeling conveyed by the young Miss Yun, he would have to re-evaluate the plan to be discussed with Yun Dong.

Long Cheng nodded but immediately hesitated. He turned to Yun Mengxin who had not yet moved from her place.

Everyone else noticed this and turned to see her as well.

Yun Mengxin had her cold stare on Yun Yin and Yun Zao.

Yun Yin and Yun Zao felt chills all over their bodies. They had seen the ferocity of the young miss in dealing with the two young masters, so they could not help but tremble.

"Do you think you still deserve to be here?" Yun Mengxin spoke coldly to the old couple.

Yun Yin and Yun Zao did not respond, they did not even move.

Yun Dong frowned at his daughter's comment and when he was about to speak, he was interrupted by her.

"Do you think I don't know what you two have been up to against the Yun family? You're the Ming family's informants, so we always lose when the Ming family hits our weak spots."

Yun Mengxin spoke with a icy voice that seemed to announce the arrival of winter. Her eyes filled with hatred and discomfort at the sight of those two old men.

"D-daughter, what are you talking about?" Yun Dong asked incredulously as he listened to his daughter.

His daughter's decisive and fierce behavior, speaking directly to the elders for the first time, shocked Yun Dong. His daughter was not like that before.

"Father, have you ever wondered why the Ming family always manages to find a way to make us more worthy and oppress us?" Yun Mengxin was still looking over the two elders.

Yun Don frowned, but did not respond to her comment. He was somehow understanding where this whole thing was going. He turned to look at the pair of old men as well.

"Yun Yin and Yun Zao have been in conspiracy with the Ming family for years. They told them what our weaknesses were, what properties they could easily take away from us and how to make their moves." Yun Mengxin explained everything she had found in these years of silence.

What?!

Yun Dong and the others couldn't believe that the two of them had done all this against the Yun family.

Even Long Cheng, was stunned to learn of these matters.

As Lord of the City, he was upset that the great families were in conflict. He would do everything he could to prevent problems between the families from developing, as they had to fight the main problem in their lives: the demonic beasts.

Although Long Cheng did not get along very well with the Ming and Ze families, they still had to talk and agree on several things. The more martial artists, the more likely it was that the star city would survive the hordes of demon beasts. But he had to admit, the Ming family was evil.

Suddenly, Long Cheng opened his eyes in surprise when he observed Yun Mengxin's movement.

Yun Mengxin instantly disappeared and immediately reappeared behind Yun Yin and Yun Zao, and struck them quickly, leaving them unconscious.

"Lock them up, we'll deal with them later." Yun Mengxin spoke coldly to one of the guards who were nearby.

Yun Mengxin took out a document from her space ring and handed it to her father: "If you don't believe me, here I have evidence of some movements that the two of them made over the years. If I told you before I was sure that no one would believe me, but now, you have to believe it. I'm sure these two aren't the only traitors..."

Yun Dong felt a slight pain as he realized the disappointment that crossed Yun Mengxin's eyes, so he nodded and took the papers. He knew that he had disappointed and neglected his daughter, so it was only natural that she had not spoken up earlier.

Now, he decided to put an end to all this and deal with these traitors, although he was also disappointed that they had known each other for many years.
