But suddenly, his phone rang and he looked at the phone to see a call he didn't expect to be receiving right now.

He gave a surprised look as he looked at the type of call he was receiving. As he remembered, Aria hated video calls and mostly either did audio calls or just met face to face.

Still, not keeping her waiting for long, Chris smiled and accepted the call, coming face to face with her glamorous face and beautiful visage that automatically brought a smile to his face. 

"Hello." Chris greeted her with a bright smile on his face as he looked at her slightly smiling face.

"Hey, did the shifting and enrollment go well?" she smiled and selected a casual topic to kick off the chat. 

But Chris's main focus was on her face… no, not in a romantic way. It was more like the glaring similarity between hers and Claire's faces!

"Chris? Pfft, did you get lost so much that you can't even hear me?" Aria giggled covering her face with her hands.

"Ah yeah, I got lost in your beauty." Chris smiled and threw another cheesy line from his memory that was oh-so filled to the brim due to Max's teachings. 

"And yep, the shifting went well! Wait, I will get up in a while and give you a tour!" he smiled and proclaimed excitedly as his handmaiden served him a glass of fruit juice.

"Sure you can do that, but…" she narrowed her eyes, "Why are you sitting shirtless and who was that other person that served you that glass?"

Chris shivered to see her angry glare and quickly looked down to see his well-toned and shaped body peeking under the sheets. Earlier he was so muddled that he didn't even notice he was shirtless!

He wanted to explain the reason to her, but didn't want to worry her either! He was really in a dilemma… 

"Ah, I was sleeping, just woke up. And that person was my maid, just serving me the glass of juice."

"Sleeping shirtless? And what maid? You have just left the city, you have maids already?! I shouldn't have let you go alone!"

"Geez calm down kitty, the maids and servants were already hired by the broker! And don't I always sleep that way~ you should know better~" he gave a teasing smirk to her, causing a red blush to creep up her rosy cheeks.

"I- hmph! So now you are enjoying the services of your maids and I need to do all my work here alone?!" she swiftly averted her eyes and pouted 

"Heh. You just want to get mad at me and then want me to pamper you, is that it?" Chris chuckled and leaned back on the bed while turning on his new laptop instead for a better view of the video call.

"Now you call my troubles as me throwing a tantrum?" Aria brought some fake tears in her eyes as she looked at him, feeling wronged.

"Yeah yeah, my bad. So, what is my queen's order?" Chris smiled and picked his tired body up from the soft bed.

He threw on a thin linen shirt and then took the phone in his hand as he walked out while sipping on his fruit juice.

"I miss you." Aria leaned further on the table and licked her lips seductively, "My body misses you~"

"Cough, don't make me horny, kitty." Chris averted his eyes and swiftly turned the phone to the front camera and began to show off the amenities and functions of the house.

After nearly half an hour of going around the house and even introducing Aria to some of the important servants like Arthur, Agatha, Janet, Alia, Alex, and many others, Chris soon returned to his room and lay on the soft bed again.

"And done~" Chris turned back to the selfie camera and smiled.

"It's a really beautiful villa. But… Why did you show it to me, huh? Did you want to show off? Make me jealous?" she narrowed her eyes again and bared her sharp teeth.

"What?! I was just sharing my happiness, it seems you don't appreciate it. What a shame." Chris shrugged and spoke in a sad tone.

"..." Aria looked at him for a good few seconds before turning away and murmuring, "I was joking, I appreciate it." 

"Hahahahahaha! I was joking too! You fell for it!" seeing her remorseful and disappointed gesture, Chris burst out laughing. Slapping his own thighs as he laughed uncontrollably for a good few seconds.

"..." Aria glared hatefully as she realized she had fallen for his act, "Tsk, I hate you. I wonder why I even fell for you either."

"Oh~ My kitty is mad~?" Chris chuckled and thus the talk between the two progressed as the two teased each other and passed some time.

Chris had initially thought that it was just a call and well, it would suck. But, strangely he had quite a great time with Aria and both had even fallen asleep talking to each other!

Only to wake up in the evening and find out that the call was still on.

Since Aria was still asleep, Chris ended the call and went out of the room while stretching his sore limbs. He was having quite a mood to just ask a maid for a massage, but he held it in for now and went towards the living room instead.

Cassie was sitting with Max in front of the TV while Cathy was a little far away on the sofa and using her phone as the time pass.

"Evening. Maxxie, I thought you were going to stay at the university." Chris yawned and greeted lazily as he looked at Max. 

"Yeah, from tomorrow. I was in the mood to play some games right now!" Max grinned back.

"You do you, I guess." Chris shrugged before swiftly sneaking behind Cathy and then peeking at her phone while whispering, "Oh~ my little innocent sister got a boyfriend?"

"Wha-" Cathy yelped in surprise and nearly dropped her phone after hearing Chris's voice so close behind her. 

But after seeing Chris so close she blushed and clarified, "N-Not a boyfriend… he is just a friend…" 

Seeing his still teasing smirk, she blushed and explained more, "I met him at the school I had gone to with Cass. He was a teacher, he asked me if he could help us, so I just told him about Cassie's admission."

"Just that, huh? I wonder where this number came from then~" unconvinced, Chris grinned playfully and smirked at her. He quickly peeked at the chats and saw it was normal gratitude and polite talks of thanks for helping and all.

"He just gave it to contact if there is any problem." Cathy shrugged with a light blush on her cheeks. 

"Is that so~ I wonder why you are contacting him right now then~"

"I-I was just thanking him…"

"Oh?! I guess a lunch with him counts as thanking?" Chris looked at that guy's lunch invitation he recently sent and smirked.

"What the?! This guy is going too fast! Date already?!" Cathy shouted in shock seeing his invitation, getting a weird look from Chris.

He had proposed just the next day after meeting Aria and took her on a date on the same day too. So, considering the speed of the teacher of Cassie-

Chris shook his head, not everyone was dumb and reckless as him to propose right on the first date. Still… his protective brother genes started to work as he swiftly opened his mouth.

"Date directly? Nah, sounds like a creep."

"He is saying that he wants to talk about Cassie's admission."

"Heh, they always say that. I remember when I wanted to woo a chick, I had told her that I am the son of the principal in her university, ahh those were the days…" Max intercepted into their talks with a reminiscing foolish smile on his face.

With a deadpan look in her eyes, Cathy glared at the pervy bastard.

"Hahahaha, anyways, I guess you can agree to the lunch for now. But, don't agree to his advances or anything, also, don't forget to ask about some nice acting courses."

Chris shrugged after a little thought and pulled out his buzzing phone.

'Hmm? Backbenchers? Which group is this?' Chris looked at the new messaging group chat he was added to, its name was Backbenchers and the display pictures of many were familiar too.

It was the group of troublemakers at his university.

//Layla- Ohh Chris is active, are you alright now? //

//Estea- Oh my, you are alive? I thought you died since the hot scenes were too much for you.//

//Lucky- It must be hard to be a virgin! :lol: //

//Chris- Yes, very hard. Anyways, what's the plan for tomorrow?//

Chris shrugged off the childish attempt of making him mad and asked in the group chat. 

'Oh~ Interesting.' Chris grinned at the idea that Layla had just re-sent.
