Fantasy and reality are two different things.

Many things are easy to think about, but not so easy to do.

There are fewer recommendation votes, fewer collections, the comment section is deserted, and investors are basically untouched.

The reason for all this naturally lies with me as the author.

I am used to being on the street, so it is inevitable that I will open a book casually.

In June, I was in a state where I didn't want to code. I was looking for books to read on asxs. I happened to see a pirate fanfic about a cat with a white beard.

I have no interest in cats. I only read the book based on the words "white beard". I fell into it as soon as I read it. I read all the more than 20 chapters and found it very interesting. Then, I stopped reading. There are only a few updates.

I have no choice but to write my own book and be satisfied.

This book was born.

Personally speaking, the response was surprisingly good, which made me drift away and have the idea that I could become famous.

Then, the second recommendation slapped me in the face and made me wake up. The data told me to stop dreaming.

Bang, the dream was completely shattered. It was obviously not the first time, but it still hurt.

Then I asked the editor to put it on the shelves tomorrow.

With a collection of more than 2,100, who will be willing to spend money to subscribe to this book? How many people will read pirated copies?

For the author, this is all a gamble.

Like a gambler, I bet on the small deviation of the book-to-book ratio.
