The Witcher: Elemental Lords

#245 - Delivery of poison

The delicate-looking woman saw Dorai sizing her up, and a professional smile appeared on her face. She'd seen that kind of look countless times before.

"Please wait a moment." She retrieved paper and a pen, handing them to Dorai, only to find he was no longer looking at her, but was instead focused on the paper and pen.

Revealing a clean, sweet smile, she said softly, "Actually, you can dictate, and we can record it for you."

Dorai smiled faintly, then with a thought, he directly manipulated the paper and pen on the table, quickly writing on it.

He didn't use his hands; using his hands was too troublesome.

The beauty was stunned. Seeing this, she was slightly shocked. This was at least a level three wizard; only level three wizards possessed such mental strength and control. Her expression became serious.

The other two also became serious at this moment.

They didn't recognize his face, but it was easy to see the traces of disguise. Who was he?

Just then, Dorai suspended the pen above the paper and said with a faint smile, "I am Dorai. It's written."

He handed the paper over.

Hearing the name, the woman was immediately stunned, slightly shocked. That newly advanced level five pharmacist!

Lowering her head, she looked at the paper. The delicate beauty was immediately shocked. It was all materials for various poisons, and requests for poison formulas, all of very high levels. He even offered a price of 50,000 gold coins to purchase a level six poison formula. This extravagance was too exaggerated.

Because it was New Year's Day, there were few people in the hall. It was empty, with only some seemingly down-on-their-luck adventurers inside, so no one paid attention to this side.

Seeing the note, the woman's hand trembled slightly.

Seeing her actions, the middle-aged man beside her was slightly puzzled. As a descendant of nobility, there was no need to be so impolite.

He patted the woman's shoulder, took the note from her hand, and with just one glance, his pupils constricted. He looked at Dorai, his expression grave. "You just said you are...?"

"Dorai, Hall Master of the Allen Ge Potion Hall."

The middle-aged man stood up abruptly, but realizing he was acting inappropriately, he awkwardly sat back down slowly, touched his hair, and said, "I apologize. What you're asking for is truly astonishing. According to the Pharmacist Guild's rules, poisons above level six should not be listed in the auction house, but in light of your status, we will list the task, but it will take some time."

Dorai frowned and said, "The Pharmacist Guild's rules? I am an honorary elder of the Pharmacist Guild. Do I still need to consult anyone?"

By this time, the conversation between the three had already alarmed the others.

Dorai became slightly impatient. "Regardless of who you need to consult, I need to put the task up."

The woman looked at Dorai, involuntarily feeling a little frightened. The person in front of her was a massive weapon. Were level five pharmacists all this terrifying?

Although he was a bit scary, he still looked somewhat handsome, especially with the confidence on his face.

She thought for a moment, calmed down, and said, "There used to be a rule that pharmacists, too, had preparations. Unless it's a high-ranking official of the empire, various toxic materials above level six require permission from someone above the Pharmacist Guild's elder level. You yourself are an elder, and we are aware of this, so we will tentatively list it for you, but we will notify the relevant personnel."

Dorai glanced at the woman, then at the middle-aged man, a slight smile appearing on his face. "It doesn't matter. I just need to know the answer. I'll be staying at the Huazi Hotel these days. This is my room number. You can notify me if anything comes up."

He used his mental power to take the pen and wrote a line of numbers on the blank paper.

After finishing this, he bowed slightly and left the counter.

Arguing with these people would be endless; it was better to do something else, such as completing someone else's task.

The commotion here was quite large. In the empty hall, it was hard not to notice him. Seeing Dorai move, those people stared at him, some with vigilance in their eyes, some with infatuation, and some with respect.

Dorai changed to a different window, the task acceptance window.

The person in charge was a slightly younger man, emitting a faint mental fluctuation. He was also a wizard.

"I am very happy to serve you, Wizard Dorai," the young man confidently began.

Dorai didn't exchange pleasantries with him, but instead took out a piece of paper from his pocket, and then conjured a pile of bottles and jars from his hand, placing them on the counter.

He looked at the young man with bright eyes and said, "I have completed the above tasks. Please verify."

Seeing the bottles and jars that suddenly appeared, the man was somewhat shocked, and at this moment, the others were also somewhat shocked. This guy actually had spatial equipment?

Looking at the bottles and jars, some people subconsciously took a few steps back.

The young man was somewhat shocked. He calmed down, looked at the paper, and then at the bottles and jars, his hands trembling slightly.

Damn it, they were all level five poisons! If these were released, who knows how many people would be poisoned to death.

These were all tasks from those damned adventurers.

Sweat instantly flowed down his forehead. He smiled sheepishly and said, "I want to ask a poison expert to come over and examine them. Please wait a moment!"

Dorai nodded and sat there, bored, waiting.

He thought things would be over quickly, but after waiting for a long time, no one came. Just as he was getting impatient, a group of adventurers entered the hall.

This group of adventurers had very powerful auras. Each of them had at least level two strength, and the leader was even level three. As soon as they came in, they attracted everyone's attention.

The level three expert went straight to the front desk and asked in a muffled voice, "Is the Dragon Serpent Venom we need in stock?"

"Yes, that gentleman has it, but our appraiser is on their way. It's not yet certain if it's what you want," the receptionist carefully explained.

All the adventurers turned to look at Dorai in unison.

Feeling their gazes, Dorai felt something and turned his head, his eyes narrowing slightly.

The man made a gesture, telling his subordinates to stay where they were, and walked over slowly by himself.

"This young brother, do you have Dragon Serpent Venom in your hand?"

Only when he got closer did Dorai realize that this man was a head taller than him, very burly, with an arm almost as thick as his own calf.

It was somewhat exaggerated.

He nodded and said, "Yes, waiting for appraisal."

The man nodded and said, "Do you have any extra? I can also appraise it."

Dorai was somewhat surprised, but thinking that these guys traveled all over the place and needed these things, they must recognize it.

So, he picked out a red bottle from the bottles and jars on the table, held it in his hand, and threw it over directly.

Seeing this, everyone's face changed drastically.

The warrior was also quite startled and hurriedly caught it. If it had fallen on the ground, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

He looked at the other party in surprise, his eyes revealing disbelief. This was too casual! Who was this person? Was there such a powerful pharmacist in Huazi City?

He held the bottle in his hand, carefully examining it, and then, in the shocked gazes of everyone, he opened the bottle cap.
