In ancient times, the Ancient True Dragons controlled the heavens and the earth, the Phoenixes controlled wind and fire, the Kirins controlled the power of the earth, and so on. These powerful creatures occupied the strongest forces in the world.

Towards the end of the ancient era, these mythical creatures gradually became dissatisfied with the energy levels of this world and left one after another, thus beginning the Primordial Era.

The Primordial Era was an extension of the Ancient Era. Although not as powerful as the Ancient Era, their bloodlines ultimately remained. The Vermilion Bird, Azure Dragon, and Giant Elephant were legends of that era.

In modern times, the bloodlines of these powerful creatures still exist on this land. The Hou is one such extremely powerful being.

Myths are, after all, myths. After such a distant era had passed, they could no longer dominate this world. However, connections still existed between creatures. The Hou resembled a dog but was not a dog, had scales, a horse's head, could control flames, and liked to live near volcanoes. Goblins were most adept at using alchemical creations to plunder everything around them, bullying the weak and fearing the strong. Their character was extremely vile!

Goblins were also excellent miners. They often cooperated with Dwarves to develop certain mines. However, unlike the Dwarves' diligence and simplicity, Goblins were often ferocious and cruel, a thoroughly evil race.
