The Wolf of Los Angeles
Chapter 2: Body Donation Agreement
Chapter 2 Body Donation Agreement
Dodge Pickup followed the road and headed towards downtown Provo.
"Man, your broken car has no gas, remember to refuel." David, who was driving, said, "You were drunk last night and asked me to drive you back. Get up early today to pick you up..."
Hawke replied, "Thank you."
"It's boring to say it, you need to take practical actions." David obviously had some thoughts: "The Sundance Film Festival in Park City is about to start, and the distance is not very far. Let's go and take a look together? You'll be responsible for the expenses."
He is an actor with aspirations: "I'm lucky and met a big director to help us become famous."
Hawke turned to look at him. The guy had a blonde hair and blue eyes, and had a handsome face. He immediately said, "You have to wash your butt."
Anyone who is a little concerned about the entertainment industry understands the situation in the film industry, and David also knows: "Is there any possibility that I met a beautiful director."
Hawke said the truth: "You will only meet the hyena director."
David didn't understand: "What does it mean?"
Hawke briefly explained: "In addition to making movies, he is also good at anorectal plastic surgery."
David was **** silently and drove into Provo safely and headed straight to the city center.
This small town of 100,000 people less than a hundred miles from Salt Lake City is mostly low-rise buildings, with only a downtown area, and a tall building stands.
The filming location of "Singing Detective" in Provo is a small eight-story building, and the crew rented the entire building.
David drove into the parking lot, got off the car and first kneaded his smooth blonde hair into a chicken coop, then grabbed some mud under the car door and smeared it on his face.
Hawke was curious: "What are you doing?"
"You've become an idiot drunk?" David shook his head repeatedly and reminded: "You forgot that the male protagonist Robert Downey Jr. is a poisonous insect. He has a domineering style after taking drugs. He is not allowed to have someone more handsome than him."
Hawke slapped his head: "I'm confused by the hangover."
David threw Hawke's car key and pointed at his unshaven face: "How good you are, you've always been within the safe range, not as jealous as me."
Hawke was too lazy to talk to the man and walked towards the crew's station.
David hurriedly followed.
Several trailers were parked at the crew station, and the two found the trailer from the stunt department and waited patiently.
Hawke seemed to be casually talking to people around him and soon learned about his work situation.
The film is curated, financed and produced by Ackerman Pictures of California billionaire Buddy Ackerman.
The crew originally recruited three stunt actors in Los Angeles, but after moving to Provo filming, director Keith Gordon and producer Bro Derek temporarily added several action scenes.
Then, a stuntman sprained ankle and another guy who joined the stuntman staff union withdrew on the grounds that he did not meet union standards, leaving only one stuntman left.
The crew considered saving costs and simply recruited Hawke and David in Provo.
The stunt director Freddy came back from the director team at this time, looked at the two of them carefully, and said, "Change in a black coat and continue wearing a black headband."
The assistant immediately brought two different coats, and Hawk waited for David to take them first, then he took the other one and replaced them.
He took off his jacket and zipped his pocket, and his revolver and car key were lying inside.
Freddy lost her hood and shouted, "Put it on, go to the set with me, don't let the crew wait for you two to perform idiots."
Hawke and David put on a hood that only exposed their eyes and nostrils, followed Freddy toward the front of the building.
The crew recruited people here temporarily, not only saving costs, but also because the two robber characters will not show their faces at all.
Even makeup is saved.
When he arrived at the front side of the building, the set was being arranged in a tense manner. Another stunt actor, McKin, rushed over, but he would not appear in this scene.
Hawke and David were warming up, and the director team took their place one after another. The male assistant director pinched the orchid finger and went to the set to talk about the show.
The robber character was temporarily added, without scripts or lines, and it all depends on the opera before shooting.
Although Hawke doesn't understand filming, he feels that such temporary characters and scenes will probably be cut in post-production.
"Your characters have an internal strife here and start a close fight." The assistant director stood on the withered grass, pointing at Hawk with his little finger while demonstrating his move: "You knock him down quickly, and then run to the building Over there, understand?”
Hawke said, "Get it."
The assistant director twisted the American **** and left the set.
As the field was beaten, two black-headed bandits wrestled together.
David punched Hawke in the face with his right fist.
Hawke blocked his left hand and habitually kicked his crotch with his right leg. Fortunately, his reaction speed was fast enough and his body was in good condition. The kicked foot was a little bit off and fell on David's leg with a snap.
David's eyes raised and he screamed. Before he could do anything, Hawke's throat arrived.
He grabbed David's neck with his right hand, and when he exerted force, he turned from grabbing to pushing outward, while stuttering under his feet.
David plopped like a piece of wood and fell on his back.
Hawke turned and ran towards the building.
The director heard a voice: "Card!" Most of the film practitioners are emotionally outgoing guys, and the director praised him loudly: "Beautiful job!"
On the periphery, McKin, a Hollywood stunt actor, got into his black coat pocket with both hands and couldn't help but say to the stunt director Freddy, "This guy has something."
Freddy nodded: "A good seedling for doing stunts."
On the set, Hawke pulled David up on the ground.
David couldn't help complaining: "Man, you don't act according to the routine, that's not what we said yesterday."
Hawke had no idea what happened yesterday, so he had to say, "Improvisation, I couldn't control it."
The assistant director twisted his **** and entered the set, and Orchid swept over Hawk: "Follow me."
He came to the front of the building and pointed his little finger at the second floor: "In the next scene, you climb up and enter the window on the second floor."
Hawke carefully checked and found that the second floor was more than four meters high. There were many street lamp poles in front of the building, which were about eight meters high, but it was three meters away from the building. It was difficult to leverage the force to climb up and it was difficult to turn. Go to the second floor.
The walls of the building are covered with matte granite slabs, and there are protruding decorative walls on each section, forming a ninety-degree angle with the wall.
No mistakes, one song, one content, one in 6, one book, one bar, one reading!
Hawke came to the nearest corner, leaned his back on the corner, jumped up, supported the walls on both sides with his hands and feet, crawling up like a spider.
Less than two meters above, he slid down again and said to the assistant director: "Okay?"
The assistant director waved his hand and went to find the director.
The crew equipment moved here and the shooting began again.
Although Hawke's body was a little fat, his foundation was still there. He rushed up to the windowsill on the second floor in a few breaths and entered through the open window.
Take one shot.
Then, Robert Downey Jr. came to the set, and the stunt team temporarily ended the filming.
There was also a Wiya action scene on the rooftop in the afternoon. David called Hawk and went to the temporary entertainment room on the second floor of the crew to play video games to pass the time.
During lunch, their heads fell into the lounge.
After getting off the dining car, David sent Hawke to the lounge to get his hat: "Man, I've got my leg broken by you, you have to compensate me."
Hawke gave him a middle finger, entered the building and prepared to go to the elevator, and the stunt coach Freddy hurriedly walked from the other side.
Entering the elevator, Hawke greeted him and asked casually, "So anxious?"
Freddy said, “The producer is looking for me.”
The elevator arrived on the second floor, and after the two came out, they walked in the opposite direction.
The crew's entertainment room and the producer's office are in two corridors opposite the second floor.
Hawke pushed the door and entered the entertainment room and found a man lying on the glass table and sucking wildly.
Robert Downey Jr. heard the voice and raised his head, his eyes shot towards the door like sharp arrows. He wiped off the whiteness on his nose and pointed at Hawk and shouted loudly, "Go out! Immediately!"
Hawke didn't want to get entangled with the poisonous insects, and found that the hood was hanging on the newspaper stand. He took the hood while picking up the newspaper and said casually, "You keep going."
The poisonous insect was interrupted, and it was quite unhappy, and its eyes gradually became sarcastic.
Hawke left the entertainment room, put his hood on as a hat, the newspaper rolled into a circle, and picked up David's hood, like a black flag.
In front, the group got out of the elevator and turned into the corridor opposite.
Two white and one black men in suits stopped and guarded the corridor.
The other three came to the producer's office, and the two behind stood at the door, one left and one right.
These five people are obviously security.
Hawke's eyes swept through the three people in the corridor quickly, and based on his previous life's experience, the suit was equipped with an underarm gun bag.
"Five bodyguards, big shots?" He turned into the elevator and went downstairs to the set behind the building.
The crew departments are setting up a set, and several wagons for wires are also erected on the roof.
Hawke found David, threw it at him, sat on the folding rest chair next to him, and asked, "When will the film start?"
"I don't know." David shook his head, "Wait, Freddy hasn't come yet."
Hawke opened the newspaper and the front page clearly displayed the news about "Singing Detective".
"The crew of "Singing Detective" dedicated to public welfare and charity!"
"The crew representatives, Robert Downey Jr. and Katie Helms, who are also the hero and heroine, said in an interview a few days ago that in order to promote social welfare and charity, they have signed a body donation agreement and called on more people to join in..."
Hawke understands that charity and donations are mostly promotional stunts for Hollywood crews.
Hollywood doesn’t say that poisonous insects and medicine ghosts per capita are not much different.
